Load shedding struck and we visited Di Bus Stop. They still could supply most of the items from the menu. The light meal was tasty and cappuccino was well presented We will visit again during a next break-away to this area. My wife also enjoyed the items for sale within the shop.

Awesome weekend at the "plaashuis" doing art and crafts surrounded by nature. On Sunday morning we take a walk into the mountains and have passover inside a huge cave. The beauty of the surrounding area is unbelievable.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. The accommodation is very basic for a high price. Definitely not comparable to the better options in town. The door could not open properly. The blanket on the bed still had hair on. The tablecloth was filthy, sugar pot filled with coffee, hard and not cleaned. Dirty cup in the cupboard. Cobweb at the shower. I phoned the lady who I dealt with and said we could not stay in such a place. She said she would try and get someone @ 18:30 on a Friday night to come and clean. I refused as this was not how it was supposed to be. We slept there and I was itching the entire night. The sheet on the bed also had a mark on. Next morning I texted her with photos and up to know did not even had a reply from her. R1400 down the drain for a place that is not worth it. Had to make a booking in town at a clean place. So dissapointed!

Really enjoyed the first visit in March 2019. The rustic setting, good boere breakfast and the awesome company of Lauzetha was a wow experience. Her art is so deep, emotional and expressive. The 2nd visit in June was not as awesome as she was away for business and he husband does not have the same knack as she has with the visitors and some minor issues with breakfast spoilt the breakfast somewhat. Still a good experience to visit here.

This campsite is a veritable Juwel. We just found it by coincidence, because we left Golden Gate National Park seeking for a more quiet Camping. The equipment is very simple, it remembered us a lot of our childhood in the 1960-ies. But everything works: There was warm water for shower, electricity, light, braai-facilities in good conditions and - the most important: a breathtaking scenery and silence. Beside the Campsite they offer 2 small rustic huts and 2 Bungalows. We enjoyed this place very very much.
