We have 3 accommodations available 2 are on Ridge Road Farm, 10km outside of Clarens on the R711 and 1 in the centre of Clarens above the Addy&Hoyle Gallery. on Ridge Road Farm is The Country House, a Beautiful stone French style farmhouse with natural rock pool located a short drive out of town (sleeps 12), and The Windmill Cottage, a Karoo style cottage built on solid rock with an enclosed braai and pool area (sleeps 6). In Clarens is La Poste apartment, a cosy open plan apartment in the heart of Clarens (sleeps 2).
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We had a really lovely stay, the space gorgeous and I love the bath and the big bed. The fireplace was also a huge bonus. Great location and you can walk everywhere from there. The light in the living area was not working and the toilet was also running- there was also no WiFi details for us to use.I think for the price you pay- it could have been a bit better as well (considering we also told them it was for a special wedding anniversary)

We had the most amazing stay! Stunning views of the mountain scenery as a backdrop to a lovely rock pool. The beautiful country style house, with a nice open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful spacious bedrooms, very neat and clean bathrooms. We felt very safe as well with Fus, the majestic, giant Irish Wolfhound, and the security guard, guarding the premises at night. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend this accommodation and we are eager to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Windmill Cottage. The house is so charming, we all just adored the design! And the views are truly magnificent. We spent our time hiking, swimming in the pool and drinking sundowners whilst enjoying our time way from the city. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we needed making our stay extremely comfortable and pleasant. We all fell madly in love with Fus, the Irish wolfhound, and wish we could have packed him in the car with us when we left. We would recommend Ridge Road to anyone and everyone looking for a quiet, calming and beautiful escape.

We spent a beautiful few days at we all dubbed Tuscany in Clarens. The pool, the view, the entertaining areas were spectacular. The rooms and the house were quirky which is a welcome break from the standard generic rooms that others establishments offer.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Windmill Cottage and hope to be back soon!!
The house is clean and stocked with everything you need (including a dish washer - a first for me at a self catering unit). Only thing I would ask be included is an iron. The cottage is about 10min from town which is great if you quickly need to pop on an get some things/do some activities. We LOVED the views, especially from the pool! We would recommend Ridge Road to anyone and everyone looking for a quiet, calming and beautiful escape from especially the busy city!

Windmill cottage - What a gorgeous little cottage in the mountains. Spectacular views and sunsets. Has everything that you need for a wonderful getaway. Even a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. Footlong the Jackie was our treat and visitor for the weekend. Thank you for a beautiful hidden gem that we would definitely visit again.

By far the nicest place we’ve ever stayed at in Clarens, and we’ve visited MOST establishments. Eunice was most hospitable and friendly upon check-in and check-out. Absolute luxury and most agreeable atmosphere. We will be back in July.

We booked Ridge road house and cottage for our family Christmas. Everyone one of us were very impressed with the accommodation and location is exceptional. We will definitely revisit and stay a couple of days longer to explore more.

Absolutely breathtaking accommodation in Clarens. Just 7 minutes drive from Clarens town. Views are incredible, rooms are amazing. Loved the friendly Irish wolfhound! Pool is lovely with the most beautiful view.
