What a delight to stay at an inn that has no fruit machines and blaring music. The customers (of whom there were a fair few on Monday evening) actually chatted to each other and to us, who were passing strangers. This, and the superb meal, made for a very pleasant evening.

Great service, friendly atmosphere and good food. Ate here a little while back with our 7 year old son for an evening meal. Very little to fault and having eaten in a lot of other rural pubs in the area, I can say without hesitation that the quality of food is far superior. Will

A lovely country Inn, serving a good selection of beers and a Great selection of meals. Siam and Lee make you feel very welcome as do the staff. The rooms are comfortable clean with a good size TV. The breakfast choice was great, not just the usual but eggs Benedict on the menu.

Are there any food options for people with a gluten and dairy allergy?
Hi Carolyn J, We are more than happy to adapt our menu to suit different needs, we have several gluten free options that we are able to change for you so they don't include dairy! For example our delicious Bathurst burger can be done without a bun or cheese. Just let us know when you'd like to eat with us and we can discuss options in advance! Hope this helps, The Bathurst Team

Do you have a secure space to lock bikes? I am a bit concerned that the owner seems so anti cycling.
Hi Alexander, The pub has not been shut down! We are open under new ownership and very welcoming to cyclists. We do not currently have a bike rack or similar but do have a lockable shed that bikes can be stored in for residents or visitors. Hope to see you soon, Kind regards, Poppy Assistant Manager
