Like most of us when we travel on holiday, we are too lazy to thank those that made our holidays so special, but have the best intentions to jump ones computer the instant we get back to civilisation to commend the amazing places we have stayed and the people who made it so. Alas, it has taken me a month to tell the world about Morrumbene Beach Resort! This piece of paradise keeps calling me back, I have to share how amazing it is. Set a little back from the actual beach, protects one from the rage that can be afternoon sea breezes. The beach itself is a gold mine of shells and pansy shells, and peace, very few others around to break the silence, let alone hawkers, what paradise. The resort is well laid out, plenty of space between chalets, with every feature you can think of that you can possibly need. Staff were only too happy to assist your every whim, we relaxed in the pool, drank in the bar and had a top class holiday. Keep up the great work Charl and Juanitta, your resort is tops!!!

Me and my family spent the 2018 festive season on this resort. The resort has several units, but all maintain enough privacy from each other so that you can feel the privacy. The units are clean and neat and have the basic equipment. They are serviced everyday. The beach is rather close, but we had to go with our cars. The bar is very pleasant with a good sea view. The beach in front of the lodge is empty most of the day, so it is perfect if you want to avoid all the noise and confusion. It was a memorable stay.

After 5 long years we were back to this top class resort. It still remains our favourite in the Inhambane Province. As the numerous RCI award winning certificates indicate, it outshines all opposition in its class. All rating categories such as hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, security, natural beauty, serenity and privacy is tops. For those 4x4 fanatics the resort is fantastic. Commercialised social activities are restricted (the way it should be). Our only regret - our stay was too short. Thank you Charl, Juanitta and your staff for going the proverbial "extra mile" to make our a stay a memorable one. The RCI awards (7)

This review is aimed mainly at Southern Africa residents who are looking for a special place in Southern Mozambique where they can get away from it all even if a 4 X 4 is required as indeed it is the case . What we liked most about the resort was its efficient services , good equipment in the unit ( possible best equipped of all self catering resorts we have been ) and the " away from it all " feeling that we were looking for to " charge the batteries ( no TV on units only on bar , which we also liked ....) Clean beach for good walks , nice sea , warm and gentle waves ...suggestions to Management : building of a wooden ( or similar ) "path " from say the Bar to the beach as 350m seems near on paper but as it is mainly dunes on way to the beach it does get tiring ...

This was such a wonderful family holiday. It is certainly off the beaten track, but completely worth it. The equipment in the chalet is just the best, every single need has been catered for. Hutch and Lorraine are wonderful hosts.
