I stayed over for business, for one night. The hotel has an old world charm, decor is from yesteryear. I had an upstairs room looking out on the street, rooms are average yet comfortable, the room upstairs was smallish, had adequate aircon, small flat screen tv, very few channels to choose from, with a small balcony looking out to the street. The balcony is shared with rooms next to you on the top floor. The bathroom was large and lovely. Only small soap and shampoo was supplied as well as towels. There is a small gym and swimming pool. The swimming pool and outdoor area is beautiful. The dining area is greta. Breakfast was lovely. Good variety to choose from for a hot or cold breakfast. For dinner I had a typical South African dish, Oxtail bredie, and Malva Pudding, which was lovely. Staff were friendly and very helpful. There is no lift, so you have to trudge your luggage up and down the stairs. Overall a pleasant overnight stay. I slept well and woke up refreshed. Ready for the next leg of my journey.

Visited here for only one night only. Clean and very big rooms. Nicely decorated with old and new dispersed throughout the hotel. Had an awesome burger for supper from very friendly staff. Prices were very affordable. Breakfast was a buffet. The Chef made me an omelette on request, loved it. Coffee very nice too. It was a very pleasant stay and I can recommend the lodge without a doubt.
