It’s hard to fully describe just how incredible the setting is for this farm and the waterfall. High up in the mountains, panoramic views, stunning rock structures, spectacular waterfall and swimming area. This is one of the most incredible places in the region. The lodging is oldish but in good condition and the new owners are making constant upgrades. Take a large group and book the place out. Let the kids run wild, it’s a unique place.
Beautiful place in the citrus orchards, with the smell of the orange blossoms. The waterfall /natural pools are definitely the highlight of the tour and are absolute bliss. I would say that the walk there is not suitable for and elderly person (had my Mum with me and was a bit of a struggle) Uncle Henry and Aunty Miriam are good people and what makes this place special. They were genuinely concerned that we had a good time on the farm and ensured that we had lamps and a gas stove during load shedding.
We enjoyed staying at the cottage very much. It had an amazing view over the orchard into the rocky landscape with the most amazing sunsets. There was a braai place outside, firewood provided. The living room was cosy and had a fireplace. The stove did not work properly and needs fixing.
I started following Waterfall Farm on Facebook after seeing friends pictures of their stay. It looked stunning and over the years, their photographs have been teasing me. After dithering about what to do for our 1st wedding anniversary, I saw a post saying Waterfall Farm had had a last minute cancellation for that weekend. After wanting to stay there for so long, I was nervous that my expectations might be too high. Well, Waterfall Farm exceeded all my expectations and then some. This place was sheer heaven, made even better by the fact that we were the only people on the farm for the whole weekend!!! We had the waterfall all to ourselves and spent the whole day swimming and exploring the area. The weather was on our side too, with warm sunny weather and no wind. Our little Daisy Cottage was perfect with everything you need for a self-catering weekend. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, cosy lounge area and the private plunge pool overlooking the orange orchards - we lacked for nothing. This is absolutely the place to come if you want to hide away from the world for a weekend... or a week! We will most certainly be back. Thank you to Miriam and Henry for looking after us during our stay.…
We stayed in the Weavers nest, the cottage was above our expectation. Everything was clean and super cosy. The cottage has a calm feel to it, with way more than you need to make sure you have a fantastic stay. clean house, clean bedding and fully equip kitchen
