The food was delicious. The rooms are very clean and the staff is professional and always happy to be of assistance. Hope to visit again soon. They also have quite a few activities to keep you busy during your stay. Be sure to go on the boat cruise. The view is amazing!

We booked for a long weekend at Sefapane. We were all super excited as the website made it look fantastic. We booked a family rondavel which reads: spacious accommodation with three bedrooms…there are two twin bedded rooms and one room with bunk bed. What we got: a rondavel with one double bed, and a tiny room with bunk beds, not a family rondavel, for a couple with two over 18 kids. At best this rondavel could be used for a family with two small children; bear in mind top bunk is quite high, if kid tumbles out of bed on to concrete floor. We complained to reception, we were told that the family rondavels were no longer part of the group. As a disgruntled customer, I find it hard to believe, that both their website and booking websites, still have the wrong information and, they accept bookings knowing the information is incorrect. Misleading and dishonest. The one star is they found as alternative accommodation, that same evening, where we originally thought we were booked into. Sefapane is at best a convenient stop over if you want to be close to the Kruger, but take note, it is over priced for mediocre service and facilities.

I paid for a game drive for two on the 3rd of April 2021. For some reason I couldn’t send the proof of payment as there was a delay from my bank. My friend then made another payment of R1300 since we were told that we would not go on the game drive without proof of payment. I told them they would have to refund me the R1300 once I could prove that the payment went through also. I sent through the evidence and was promised on numerous occasions that I would be refunded. Till today, no refund. It’s more than a month later and still no money. Thieves of note.

Sefapane Lodge is conveniently located close to Kruger Park. The rooms (in small cottages) are okay, but nothing special. It's clean and reasoably well maintained. Restaurant is good, with nice staff and a good menu.

Overall a good stay. There have been several noticeable improvements since my previous visit (a few years ago). A new menu, improved wi-fi coverage, and some updated furnishings in the room all contributing to an improved experience.
