Can't solve mistake made by themselves and are not able to do a refund on a creditcard without a very complicated procedure! This is very poor especially when the resort is/was empty! The manager has to be asked for everything. What are then the staff for??
We are from Pretoria. 2 Adults and 1 kid. Traveling with a caravan. We used it for a stopover to the Kruger Nat. Park. We have mad used of this resort it in the past. Will recommend to all my Kamp forum users.
We were met by a very friendly receptionist. Area is very dry but still beautiful. Would suggest they do paved camping areas to eliminate most of the red sand. Ablution blocks were clean. The resort is close to the Kruger National Park gate. The resort is also close to the nearest convenience store.
The caravan park is well-run and maintained. The staff are always busy and ready to assist if needed. The ablutions are spotless. It's very convenient to the Kruger Park Phalaborwa gate - right next door - so access to Kruger is simple.
This is the third time that we have stayed at Phalaborwa Safari Park and have enjoyed it each time. Very spacious, possibly could do with building smaller chalets for couples without children as we only used the one bedroom.
