The Building is in serious need of maintenance and renovation. All facilities are run down. The room was clean and the sleep was ok. Air-conditioning did not work. Shower and bathroom was fine. Breakfast was included in price and was good. ample parking was provided. Staff were friendly and helpful

This is not a place that I would return to. The bedrooms are dark and badly lit. There is no bedside light and windows are small. No milk provided for the tea station and the Wi-Fi is not working. Bathroom mirror is too high to be used by a person of average height. The security for cars is non-existent as the gate is not closed at night. To their credit the rooms are clean and the bed linen in good condition but the towels have seen better days.

Adjacent to the lodge is a charismatic church when in service you might forget about catching peace of mind and sleep because of the noise. My booking happened to fall on Easter Friday evening and the service was on until 21h30. The furniture looks old and scruffy, the door to the shower and toilet did not have the handle. I will certainly not look at this place in my next visit nor recommend to friends.

There wasn't enough room for us. They referred us immidiately. We booked two rooms but we couldn't even stay because they didn't check how much space we needed. They did however refer us to another place in the same area who could thankfully accommodate us.

Very quite place, with garden and pool inside. Very close to Kruger park gate - maybe 5 minutes driving. Nice rooms and breakfast. Not far from town center with tourist information service and pubs. A bit slow WiFi and only in public areas.

Rooms are badly in need of a revamp. The main entrance could be mistaken for the kitchen entrance. The pool looked like a water storage dam.We requested a breakfast pack as we were leaving early which was well prepared and perfect.

We were booked in for one night. What a disappointment? Starting at the reception area which was dark, very untidy and dingy. Warning bells started ringing. Asked to see our "luxury" room with a view, thank heavens we did. Pokey, smelly, dark, dingy with a small window covered with a scruffy curtain and on moving the curtain aside to see the "view" was met with a view of a dirty wall that had not seen a coat of paint since it was built. The TV and the kettle were plugged together into an electrical contraption that went half up the wall between the two appliances - very dodgy! The snooker table in the "lounge" was ripped down the middle and the whole place had an air of complete neglect. We hightailed it out of there as soon as we could and found another overnight stop in Phalaborwa.
