We had a lovely 2 night stay 16th -18th March . The guest house is beautiful & very clean with a lovely small swimming pool, perfect for a dip after returning from a game drive. Issobella & Jan are the perfect hosts. They were very helpful in trying to track down our delayed luggage & provided a taxi service to a local restaurant on the 2 nights we were staying. Would love to return & stay for longer. Thanks again

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a tour of Southern Africa and absolutely loved it. It's really close to Kruger and the rooms are nicely appointed. We also appreciated the fact that they're located around the small but nicely-formed pool. Nothing is too much for the hosts and they'll take you to any restaurants for dinner or into town if you need to get anything. Also, if Jan is cooking dinner then you should join them, he really knows how to cook a steak!

We stayed for 2 nights in January in a party of 14. Following a delay because of a transport problem we turned up late and tired. The welcome and marvellous food helped to make our holiday great again. Thoroughly recommend Jan and Issabella's hospitality.

This guesthouse is well located a few kilometres from Kruger. The lady manager (sorry but we've forgotten your name) is very friendly and welcoming and gave us some good information on Kruger and places to eat in the town. The gardens are beautiful with rooms arranged around the pool that gives it a resort-like feel. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated, although a little small and not well lit if you want to read. The breakfast was amazing - thank you so much James!

We stayed at La Lechare for 2 nights in January 2019 whilst visiting Kruger. Our tour group of 14 were given a wonderful welcome by the charming owners Jan and Isabella and the evening meals cooked by Jan were superb. We were in Room 8 which was clean and very spacious and the total experience could not be faulted. Highly recommended.
