Stayed at Olifants for a year for work. Was pleasantly surprised with the friendliest of staff members. The owner- Leon, was a friendly accommodating man who would always try his best to keep his clients satisfied. The chefs were super friendly and cooked great meals on a daily. The lodge overlooks the Olifants river.

We were blessed to celebrate my 50th and and my son's 16th birthday at the lodge. The owners and staff of the lodge went out of their way to ensure we all had a great time. We were served breakfast while enjoying game viewing boat cruises. Our family visit the lodge at least four times a year and we have never been disappointed.They offer boat cruises and game drives and you are almost guaranteed to see at least 3 of the big 5 every time you go on a game view. The hosts,Leon and Brenda goes out of their way to ensure their guests are looked after. I can highly recommend Olifants river safaris

Beautiful lodge! Staff is amazing, absolutely friendly and made sure all our needs were met, very helpful and able to suggest things to do in and around the lodge.

We were extremely well received by our hosts. Upon our arrival we were walked through a beautiful shop and then escorted to our beautiful rooms!!!!! Everything was amazing from our meals to our private river boat ride up and down the river were we seen lots of magnificent elephants, kudu, Nyala, etc. Our boat ride included a spectacular sunset and a little rivers edge spotlighting for crocodiles. The food was fantastic!!! It was cooked on an open fire bed of fresh hot coals which cooked our meat to perfection. The host and staff were fantastic and were treated like family!!!!!
The best part of this place was the hint of danger that comes with staying at a place that has the big five dangerous animals walking around. Nothing like have hippos and lions and elephants walking around at night!!!!!
You need to check this place out. They offer riverboat cruises that you can participate on even if your not staying on the property. They have so many other potential opportunities. Check out olifantsriversafaries.com for all their other services.
