Reef Resort is situated along the beautiful, unspoilt beachfront of Praia de Xai Xai. We offer accommodation in spacious beach houses, there are 2 different sizes to choose from: 2 bedroom/4 sleepers and 3 bedroom/6-8 sleepers. All the houses have magnificent views of the ocean, they have their own splash pool and they are serviced daily. There is a generator for back up during power outages (T&C's apply). Accommodation can be booked for self-catering or we can provide meals at our restaurant on the premises. Our restaurant Café Pescador is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and there is a 100-seater venue available for meetings/functions. Activities offered at Reef Resort are deep sea fishing charters, guided quad bike excursions, whale watching (from May to November) and we have an assortment of snorkeling gear available for hire.

It’s always a pleasure when you go back to a place you were once unhappy and receive great service, why did I go back? Of course the place is amazing, I wouldn’t imagine staying anywhere else when I’m in XaiXai- the views, the food is amazing at the restaurant…very nice staff too, the houses-comfortable bed and fully equipped house, and I got to watch whales every morning of my 4 days stay as I did yoga on the amazing balcony, the staff were super nice this time. thank you

We did not stay at Reef Resort however I would recommend them based on the owner taking time out from being with his family to tow us out of a sticky situation. To help a stranger with such hospitality when we were not even staying with them I can only imagine what fantastic service they must provide. Thank you for rescuing us.

Beautifull beach houses, very clean and serviced daily. Stunning little splash pool at every house, also cleaned daily. Very friendly and efficient staff. Cafe Pescador Restaurant, great food, a must visit. Very safe Resort with 24/7 security and beautiful views of the ocean. Awesome beaches for swimming close by.

We spent 2 nights in this fantastic resort. All the villas are well maintained, and the beds are comfortable with mosquito nets. They all have a private pool and a stunning view of the ocean ( we saw 2 whales breaching from our porch). The restaurant provides good-quality food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommended bobotie spring rolls and the fresh seafood platter. The staff is super friendly and provides excellent service.

Reef resort is an excellent place family, couples, and large groups. We stayed there for two nights, and our experience was fantastic. All the houses/villas are well maintained. Bed are comfortable and has mosquito nets. The bathrooms are clean. The kitchen in the houses are well equipped, and also basic tea and coffee set is provided. Wifi works everywhere in the resort. However, what makes reef an excellent choice for a beach holiday is the terrific ocean view from the house. We actually saw 3-4 whales breaching while sitting on the porch of our villa. So keep scanning the ocean if you are there during whale season. Secondly, the restaurant provides superb food for breakfast, lunch and supper. I highly recommend Baboti spring rolls, and then if you are a good appetite, go for a seafood platter with freshly caught seafood. Reef resort has its own fishing boat, and they fish daily for their clients. You can enjoy long walks on the beach, boat rides, and fishing expeditions while at the reef resort. The staff are well trained and provide excellent service in the resort as well as in the restaurant and will guide you all the time, so your holiday is worth it.…

The photos sent by Reef Resort do not match the reality. The house is worn out, and the humidity in all the walls gives off an undesirable odor, especially for people with allergies to moisture. I certainly do not recommend the resort.

Certainly one of the best places for a family holiday in Moz. Stunning beaches, ideal and safe for children. Great restaurant, luxury villas, super friendly and helpfull staff and management. Can't be compared to any other lodge in the Xai-Xai area.

It was a very nice holiday at a fantastic and safe place with great hospitality. We will definitly go back and recommend to others. On top of all we saw whales and dolphins from the balcony every day!
