Was very much looking forward to staying for 7 nights at this place.Did my due diligence pre- paid and it appeared idyllic. The shadow of Covid has hit Thailand hard in particular, found our room to be dark, and completely uninspiring. Not at all what we anticipated, we’ve both travelled widely and were somewhat bewildered. Balls of some kind of chemical were liberally spread around the room and furniture. The effect of that just wasn’t nice. Perhaps it hadn’t been used for a while. The pool apart, the property appeared to us to be a little unkempt. The room perhaps could of been changed but not the location, for many where it is may be inspiring. But there was nothing to be found for at least half a kilometre in either direction. We stayed the night because our late afternoon arrival time, only because we had to. The following morning we were gone. Decent breakfast and the staff appeared nice enough, we handed back the Key and collected the room deposit. No one seemed to be bothered why. It gives me no pleasure to inform that I just can’t recommend this property . Our experience of it in reality was anything but “Boutique” We moved on and had a fabulous time elsewhere. You get what you pay for. The images attached are what we anticipated compared with what we got.…
What a fantastic place to stay! This has got to be one of the most quiet, beautiful locations I’ve ever stayed in Thailand. Overlooking crystal clear water, and a *huge* covered balcony, I could sit here for hours (and did many times!) listening to the water and the birds. From this balcony I saw many sea birds, dolphins in the distance, and once I saw fireflies at night! Any bird lovers/watchers, bring binoculars! Some fascinating bird life around the waters edge, including Sea Eagles and hummingbirds. All of the staff here were welcoming, helpful and lovely. Nee was amazing- always greeted with a smile, great suggestions on markets, temples to visit and things to do. She and all of the staff were wonderful. Housekeeping staff were lovely and friendly, and did a wonderful job- room cleaned every day if you like! Room stocked up with water daily (in recycled glass bottles which is so much more eco friendly), alongside coffee, tea, creamer and any toiletries needed. I was amazed that my villa had a kitchen- you could cook up some nice meals in here! No need to though- the restaurant on the property ‘Dr Frogs’ is absolutely delicious. I note quite a few guests who weren’t staying at the villas visiting for dinner also. The chef and all staff are really lovely, and make great recommendations. The breakfasts were exceptional- nothing beats a good morning coffee with fresh Thai fruit and all the eggs, pastries and other usual tasty breakfast options. The sweeping view from the restaurant can’t be beaten. There is a lookout about 5 mins walk away, but the restaurant has the same view! Transport-wise, I’d recommend you rent a scooter, or catch taxis or song thaews as the road is not safe to walk on. Unfortunately there is no foot path and many blind corners, so someone can easily hit you. I don’t know how to ride a scooter otherwise I would’ve rented one to get around, but instead would often get lifts into town from a really sweet taxi driver named Chris who lived nearby, that Boujis recommended. The occasional Song thaew passes also. Nearest 7-11 is about a 5 minute drive away, and you can get to pretty much anywhere on the north/east coast within 15-20 mins drive. Great location! Talking of, the beach next door- Chaweng Noi- is one of the loveliest beaches I’ve been to. It’s a really relaxed, low-key, non-busy beach that locals, fishermen and travellers hang out on. No parties here, just chill :) My fave beach actually! If you buy a drink from one of the resorts that have lounge chairs there they are totally happy for you to hang out on them! All in all, I loved Boujis. Paradise on earth! Can’t wait to come back and stay again :)…
Everything in this resort was super friendly and welcoming. Since the first enquiry until check out. Reception, housekeeping, restaurant, all seem to really like and appreciate their work. Villas are super spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. The breakfast is worth mentioning. Best eggs benedict I had in an island. Views from room are amazing. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Room had everything needed. Nice kitchen area , fantastic balcony , roomy and right on the water. T.V was internet connected which is a must these days. Restaurant food was very good with a nice small bar also. I enjoyed this place very much. Good value and customer service very good. Location good also close to other places to eat and get a few drinks. I recommend the Rooms that are closest to the water you really have a lot of privacy.
Visited this gem of a place again. A perfect couple of nights in bliss with my good lady. As always, delicious food at Dr Frogs next door, room was comfortable and peaceful. The feeling of being on the waters edge.....Heaven! This place looks like becoming my go to Samui base. Good job guys.
Boujis Boutique Resort is my go-to destination to really relax and unwind whatever the situation may be in the world. I love the proximity to the ocean and rocks, surrounded by nature, the trees, the gardens and grounds and the sounds of birds and insects, and the wonderful ocean . I fall asleep at night listening to the gentle waves. If it's rough and noisy the villas all have double-glazing which makes for a wonderful sense of being deep and cosy with nature just on the doorstep. It's amazing. An experience all of its own. The staff are super friendly and helpful, with room service from the award-winning restaurant for Italian and Thai food and lots of other delicious choices. The food's great too and just on the doorstep if you did want to venture out of your super-luxe comfy villa. Great for families, friends, couples and solo travellers Boujis is a great place to stay, super-good value at the moment and an experience literally like no other in the world - this is a unique hideaway, a rare gem.…
After Isloand hopping to Koh Samui for a week i returned ot Boujis. Last time i stayed here i had a fantastic time so it was impossible to not take up their super special room offers during these difficult times. They did not disappoint- The rooms have been well maintained and offer the same fresh feeling as before. Super comfy beds and pillows ensured a perfect nights sleep. And tghe sofa on the varanda kept me in my room for hours. The new FROGS restaurant next door offered a diverse meny at really great prices and we even had 3 bands playing there on Saturday night . Samui might be quiet but there was a fun crowd there enjoying the food and vibes. Sad to leave - Ill be back - Thanks to all the frew .
Cool place, very user friendly with incredibly good value villas on the seashore. We had a kitchen and beautiful balcony over the sea. Nice people, quiet and peaceful Great Italian restaurant next to the hotel - Dr Frogs Good to have ones own transport - we rented a car for $19 per day and our other guests used little Honda motorbikes which were $7 per day
This Resort was recommended to me by a friend. We were greeted upon arrival by the staff who were very courteous and professional. The rooms are small villas all with a fantastic sea view and what i was impressed with was the size of the balcony, they all have a large couch and a table and chairs, great for relaxing. Inside the villa you have a bathroom and small kitchen with cooking facility's and a good size bedroom with a Seaview. The resort itself has a great restaurant and bar that is reasonably priced overlooking chaweng bay great for a sundowner. The location is very good its a 35 min drive from the ferry port and about 20 mins from the airport with plenty of amenity's close by, the villas are nice and quiet, all you can hear in the rooms is the sea outside. Its a great base for exploring the island. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, we originally came for 3 days and stayed longer, all i can say is its well worth the price to stay here, they are doing some great deals at the moment, well worth a weekend break . Again i would like to praise the staff and the owner for a relaxing chilled out stay. …
