Still gets my vote: been coming to Chaba Samui for years. If your looking for a great location, clean room, nice pool, nice staff and great food and drink then this is the place. Been shut for 2 years due to Covid and it was sad at first that a lot of the staff had left and the hotel was so quiet but this was quickly forgot as TUK TUK and JOB looked after us for our 10 day stay and we were very sad to leave them. The hotel is slowly getting back on its feet and daily repairs were taking pace and you could see the resort slowly coming back to life. Yes, it’s not a luxury hotel but what do you do in a hotel room on holiday: sleep! This place still gets my vote of the best in Chaweng, can’t wait to return. See you soon friends

Great hotel split between the beach side and the lake side. We were located on the lake side and with hindsight would have paid the extra to be at the beach side, although this didn't spoil our holiday one bit. The staff at the hotel work tirelessly to ensure you're totally looked after and always with smile! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a varied selection of options. Both pools were always clean and well maintained, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Good location situated right on the beach road, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants located close by. The hotel is situated approx. 10 min walk south of the main Chewang beach shopping area. Great beach with white sand and crystal clear water. Drinks and food at the hotel were very reasonably priced with a good varied selection. Will definitely return in the future, couldn't fault the place. …

We stayed at the Chaba Samui hotel during February & we were very happy with it, we were in the Lakeside building for the majority of the time where the room was spacious & very comfortable, there was a little noise from the road but not enough to bother us. After a problem with a pipe leaking above us we were quickly relocated to the Ocean building, the room wasnt as big but was fine. The hotel is kept immaculately clean & the staff are very friendly & efficient always greeting you with a smile. The breakfast is very good with an excellent selection, something to suit everyone. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I would recommend this hotel but advise to upgrade to newer side. Staff really friendly food lovely recommend B&B. Lovely pool & beachfront location. Massages available by pool reasonably priced all round great location.

Hotel and room is beautiful snd breakfast lovely however we hardly slept for our 4 night stay as the room walls were so thin. Could hear others walking/talking and bars/restaurants/cars until 4am then the birds chirping from 5am. Such a shame as the hotel is lovely.

Great location and a wonderful welcome ,we stayed for 10 nights and it was positioned for easy access to everywhere in Chaweng. The hotel atmosphere is fine, the pool also very clean, hotels restaurant food is very good. Check in and check out was speedy. Clean hotel providing a good package of services in reasonable price, definitely try hotels own massage at the beach, the ladies are great there, and professionals. Breakfast was good, not lots of choices, but everything is fresh and tasty and the staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Khun Tuk Tuk and Job. Hotel have a great helpful smiling staff, we asked a few topper for the bed and they provide them in 15 minutes. Even the hotel is a bit run down in some places, our Ocean side room on 3 floor was as new – very spacious, modern, very bright and lots of light, clean, lots of storage space, and well provisioned with fresh towels and toiletries, what was supplemented daily. Hotel cleaning works perfectly, every day our room was cleaned quickly and efficiently. We were very, very pleased, special thanks to Ratri, You are so lovely and helpful. We also LOVED the system, that You can leave your beach towels in the basket outside Your room for cleaning staff to change them. Impeccable AC, consistent wifi. TV is big enough. If you wish to have a real peaceful time, ask room at higher floor, 3 or 4, - first night we had it at the 1 floor, and it wasn’t so bright and You cannot open the curtains properly, as the other guests walking by,- and close to the ocean, as the rooms close to the street can be very noisy. Hotel have a reggae bar in one side, and almost every night there was loud noise, music, singing even at three or four a clock in the morning, and if You want to go sleep earlier, is simply impossible. Also at the other side is irish pub, and when they have live music, sounds are heard as a cacophony. It was hard to understand how it’s even possible that the reggae bar what's right next to the hotel can even be in operation, because it makes a terrible noise at the night time and interferes with customers' sleep.…

2nd stay at the Chaba and loved it as much as the first time. Fabulous friendly staff, comfy and spacious clean room (lakeside), good food and great location. Our room was beautiful on arrival with flowers and towels welcoming us back. Can't wait to come back again.

The hotel is a bit rundown but the room was pretty good and clean. Bed was comfy. Hotel is near to amenities - food, entertainment and shopping. But super noisy at night till 5am. Staff were friendly and breakfast was simple.
