First and last time at hyatt regency samui. Had to wait forever for our room. I know the hotel is busy during festive time but that shouldn’t be an excuse for bad service. Room was not clean properly. Some day we didn’t even receive any cleaning service. Towels were not refill. Food was nothing special. I will not return here again

We were so privileged to have stayed at the stunning Hyatt Regency Koh Samui for 6 nights. After a short ride from the airport we were greeted at the impressive minimalist lobby overlooking the sea. A chilled lemongrass tea was served as we checked in with a very friendly team. We initially had room 331 which was great but General Manager Adrian kindly upgraded us to a spacious Regency Suite (317). The room was very contemporary, elegant and had a big balcony that overlooked the gorgeous landscaped gardens. A Nespresso machine, well stocked minibar and the huge bath tub were great amenities to this special Suite. The swimming pools are stunning and amongst the most beautiful we’ve ever seen but be aware they don’t have proper stairs to get in / out so they won’t suit those with mobility issues. Breakfast was served at Yangna Cuisine which offered an extensive Asian and Western selection. Coffee took a bit longer than usual but the hotel was addressing this challenge with the team and we noticed improvement as days passed. This is a brand new property and nobody should underestimate the massive task of opening such a high-end resort in the middle of a pandemic. It was very reassuring to see Adrian very visible making sure that everyone had a nice time. During our stay a new F&B Director started who was also very friendly engaging with guests and spotted exploring different ways to enhance the offering of this spectacular 5-star property. We travel extensively and always believe the staff are the ones that make the difference in every hotel. We came across many nice people but Jane and Gina at Yangna stood out and most importantly, Thanakorn (Don) at the pools. He was a real star and a true ambassador to the hotel. He offered us iced water, fresh towels, assisted with umbrellas, beds, food orders, etc always with a big smile! Thank you Thanakorn (Don) for all your warm and caring service. Dinner at Sesun was good and they had a fire show and DJ on one of the nights which created an amazing atmosphere. The location of this hotel may be a bit remote for some but this wasn’t an issue for us. If you want to relax this is the perfect spot for you and taxis aren’t expensive in Samui to get to attractions and restaurants. All in all this was an excellent choice for our holiday and we return suntanned to the U.K. and with many memorable moments of our special time at the Hyatt.

Had the pleasure of staying at this new and modern property in both the executive suite and ocean front villa. The property layout is fantastic allowing you to explore each area with ease with the focal point being the amazing infinity pool which overlooks the beach/ocean. The staff were nothing short of amazing with special shoutouts to Tawan for the smooth check-in process and being able to accomodate our every request. Tawan went above and beyond for us and ensured we picked some great local places for entertainment/dining. Gina during our dining experience at Yangna who went above and beyond with remembering our room, our coffee order and a special mango juice on arrival every day. Finally, Bee at the Regency Club who gave us a memorable experience and ensuring our drinks were always filled. My only recommendation would be to ensure the wifi is able to reach all areas including beach/adult pool are as it can be patchy at times. If you are looking to relax at a brand new and modern property with great food and staff, look no further.

This was my first time at the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui, a brand new and excellent addition to the Hyatt portfolio. Overall the stay was fantastic, the service excellent, and the brand new resort has an ultra-modern design with spacious, airy, clean and tropical-appropriate rooms. The Executive Suite and the beachfront villas are both incredibly comfortable with up-to-the-minute amenities and tech and the rooms themselves are the highlight, along with the stunning lobby which looks out on the three infinity pools and hotel beach. Staff were all friendly and helpful without fail and ensured a comfortable and convenient stay. Special thanks to Khuns Tawan (ceaselessly overseeing all aspects of the stay), Gina (for providing a tailored and highly attentive restaurant experience) and Bee (for creating a welcoming and helpful Regency club experience). Also pleasing to note the GM and F&B Managers highly visible and present making sure everything is running to a consistent high standard. One point for improvement: the wifi at the hotel beach, lower pool levels, and regency club is very patchy and could benefit from a boost.
