I sit writing this review on the balcony of my swim up room on my last night in Pastida.
I didn't think the second visit could beat the first but it definitely has.
We returned this time for 10 nights as last year 7 nights wasn't enough. Nama Retreat is everything you could want from a holiday
Relaxing✔️ Tranquil✔️ Spotlessly clean✔️
Modern✔️ Friendly staff✔️..I could go on and on
Nama Retreat itself is amazing and the most peaceful place we have visited. The staff can't do enough for you and always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome...especially Evgenious, Jenny, Kathy and Seva. The rooms are kept immaculate by Seva daily and Jenny's breakfasts are something to look forward to every morning, along with the little extra treats she provides which gives you ample for your lunch. You can enjoy this sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool or the Greek countryside beyond.
Night time is very laid back and we look forward to having dinner then having a little drink sitting talking to Evgenious and Jenny about anything really as they are so laid back. They really do have a complete gem here and work so hard to keep it that way.
The local village Pastida is 5 minutes walk away where you will find a scattering of restaurants, bars, pharmacy, supermarket, icecream/bakery shop and a few little clothes shops..everything you need. Already booked to return next year and looking forward to introducing my sister and brother in law to our Nama family here in beautiful Greece

At Nama Retreat you truly can relax and enjoy your vacation.
Jenny, Evgenios, Seva and the whole team do everything they can to make you enjoy your stay 100%. All is spot on, from welcome at your arrival to breakfast, the room, swimming pool, contact with you.
The hotel is located at the edge of the village, in a quiet area and looking out over the farm lands. The center is at walking distance where you can find a few good taverns for diner.
Sitting on your terras you can enjoy the view on the swimming pool and the farmlands.
The teras is spacious enough holding a table and 2 chairs and a drying rack without feeling cramped.

The rooms are spacious, well designed and decorated. They make you immediate feel relaxed, welcome and at home.
the materials used are of high quality and everything well equiped.
The room is consists of kitchenette, sleeping area, sitting area and balcony
The sleeping and living area is spacious, decorated to relax. The bed is of good quality, no problems to sleep well in there.
There is a 3 seat comfortable canape. which can be converted to a bed.
next pf that is a small table with 2 chairs, allowing you to sit and have breakfast if you want.
Bathroom is modern, spacious and very comfortable.
The kitchenette has all you need, a small cooking fire, microwave, refrigerator, espressomachine, waterkettle, utensils, tostimachine.

Breakfast is luxuriously in choices and quality. you can have it in the breakfast/bar area or at your room.
It's made up of ham, cheese, marmelade, honey, fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, milk, fresh orange juice and eggs however you want them; boiled, omelet, omelet with bacon or cheese, horses eyes, ...
To drink you can have tea, coffie, frappé, .....

Every day Jenny and Seva make and additional salade or pastry,...
To much to finish, no problem. Take te basket with the leftover up to your room.

Wondering where to go or eat? No problem, ask Evgenios. He has plenty of valuble tips and information for you.
When you terurn in the evening, you can relax in the bar of a drink (soft, cocktais, or spirits) or enjoy the house wine Nama, espacially selected from a neighbouring winery.

Tip : There's a meaning behind the name of the hotel.

Absolutely magical place, and I don't even know where to start singing its praises :-) We wanted a small, family owned hotel off the beaten track, and we ceraintly got this and so much more. The owners' family and staff treat the guests like friends. Nothing is too much trouble. Starting with the delicious breakfasts with homemade cakes, tastefully designed, comfortable rooms, great pool, amazing cocktails, and great location close to a village, but quiet. We don't usually return to the same places, as we want to see an experience as much as possible, but we might just make an exception for Nama :-) Thank you so much for looking after us. Ewa and Brian

Small, exceptionally clean, peaceful and very friendly. The owners and staff do everything possible to make your stay a fabulous experience and make you feel part of the family, including taking us all to their home for an Easter barbecue.
We’ve booked for next year.
The rooms are really nice, comfy beds and lots of space.
If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday away from the bustle of resorts, this is just perfect.
We hired a car for a few days to explore but you can get a bus to most places from Pastida, which is a few short minutes walk from the hotel.
There are tavernas in the village so if you don’t want to explore there’s plenty of places to eat as the hotel only does breakfast, however , there’s plenty for lunch as well!! And you can get drinks throughout the day and evening or make your own as every room has facilities to make your own food and drinks if you wish to.

Back home after another fantastic 2 Weeks in this unique and Elite family run hotel. This was our 8th visit to the Nama Retreat since it opened in 2019 and cannot wait to get back there in 15 weeks time 😀 Nothing is too much trouble for the the owners or their staff and they always go above and beyond All expectations. Whenever we speak to any of the other guests, they all say that they have never felt so relaxed and regenerated at the end of a holiday, as they do after visiting Nama Reteat. I must give the Gafira Taverna a mention as well as their Simi Shrimps are simply the best ( thank you Moscos ). Thank you to Evgenios, Jenny, Kathy and Savvas for all of your hard work to make our stay so special yet again we love you all ❤️

This place is a real gem, so much so, many guests return multiple times. With only 11 rooms you get a truly personal experience from the hosts. The rooms are clean and well appointed, with a small kitchenette including a fridge. The breakfast basket concept is brilliant and means that you can take the ample leftovers back to your room and have a light lunch.

The little town square is a few minutes walk down the hill with plenty of decent restaurants to choose from, as well as a couple of pharmacies, a small supermarket and convenience store.

We visited early May as couple, booking after reading wonderful reviews over various platforms & we were not disappointed!

After a delayed & diverted flight we arrived at 3am, still welcomed with open arms & shown to our room, we had opted for the swim up room which was awesome, massive bed, sitting area, lovely bathroom with large shower, basic cooking facilities & fridge etc. Patio doors right out seating & swim into pool area.

Pool area was great for socialising & chilling although the pool was a little cold as early season.

The hospitality extended during our stay was unrivalled, we really felt like part of the family! Wonderful breakfasts, shots in the evening, Jenny even made us a Moussaka one day for lunch!

There is not a lot to do here or in Pastida, it’s all about relaxing.

We can’t wait to go back & miss it dearly already, if your thinking of booking & like the peace & quiet than this is the place for you!

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcomed and as a returning guest having been once before, welcomed like family. The family run business put your time with them as the priority. We found the rooms so clean, breakfast delicious and plentiful with service second to none whilst not being intrusive.

Rhodes town is only a short bus/taxi away and other resorts can be visited also. Speak to the family as they can offer information and advise on where you can catch a bus, a taxi or hire a car.

Pastida has plenty of restaurants and places to drink, and only 2/3 min walk away.

I must finish by mentioning ALL the staff there who we got to know and have fun with, nothing is too much trouble for any of them. They are there to ensure the best of times for you.

Can’t wait to be back again as soon as possible.

This was the first time that we have stayed at the Beautiful Nama Retreat .

It was a special occasion for our 50th Birthdays .

Jenny , Eugene and the Team are just wonderful and make your holiday so special .

As there are only 11 rooms everything is so personal and so so friendly. The cleanness of the place and rooms are justspotless , the pool is beautiful with a perfect amount of sun loungers .

The rooms are set out lovely with a mini kitchen, fridge etc , the lower level are swim up and the upper level with balconies.

At breakfast you receive a basket full of fresh breads, meats , salads , Greek yoghurts that will keep you going throughout the day . (Jenny also bakes cakes or cookies which are just so tasty )

The Retreat is a family run business and is a credit to Jenny , Eugene , the family and all of the lovely helpful staff .

Jenny is so lovely and I miss her smiles in the mornings and Eugene is also such a nice genuine guy with a cheeky sense of humour .

You could not wish for a more relaxed holiday in a beautiful setting .

The Retreat is set in the outskirts of Pastida which has a few nice restaurants, bars, shops, pharmacies etc so all you really need .

We will most definitely be booking again and would like to thank you for your kind hospitality.

Hi The restaurant scene is Pastida is very Greek ( nice , well priced but basic ) , and would recommend a trip to Ialysos where you find a variety of places to eat , and only a short ride in a taxi , which Nama will sort . Also Rhodes Town is not too far away , although wasn't our scene as too busy / Touristy , and a lot of people trying to get you inside which we did not appreciate. Have you booked Nama yet ? , as we had to book well in advance to get July 2024 ( already booked for 2025 ! to be sure of a place ) . Only 11 rooms with repeat custom so booked up very quickly, but well worth going . Its our happy place where we relax as soon as we walk through the door. Good luck and hope you get there
