Detailed Reviews
We were there with very bad and cold weather. A warm welcome, big rooms and a large bathroom, every day a bottle of water, coffee and teafacilities in the room with a cookie. A small buffet in the morning with fresh fruit, cheese, ham, eggs, different pots of jam, bacon etc..

From the moment we arrived at Mt Bijoux, Clara and the team made us feel totally at home. We were traveling with our toddler which can often be difficult in many places, but Clara went out of her way to accommodate us - from the well-equipped toddler crib to the provision of crayons and colouring-in sheets in our room to the purchase of special yoghurt for our daughter, truly the service went above and beyond.
That coupled with the exquisite decor, the beautiful view and the ridiculously comfortable bed led to the perfect stay. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite for the first 2 nights which was amazing and which I would totally recommend!
Thank you to the team for a wonderful stay and for all their effort they put in to make us feel so welcome!

It was so great to stay at this gorgeous guesthouse again even while the drought is taking it's toll on the beautiful Cape Town. Did my best to use as little water by taking short showers etc.
Clara the lovely host with her personnel went out of their way to accommodate my allergies during breakfast and the freshly made fruit salad in the morning was a highlight as well as lovely cheese platter that varied every morning.
Decor and free wi fi a great bonus
Thank you Clara and Lilly see soon

I enquired for sea facing room and had this confirmed back to me. I stupidly assumed this meant I had a sea view. Not so- my view is of car tyres speeding past my bedroom and feels like I'm at 24 hours Le Mans. Noisy, noisy, noisy, noisy! Just horrible!
Feel totally conned by internet photography!

A gem in Blouberg for those with a taste for the exquisite. The decor, accommodations and view is beautiful. The host gives credence to the word. Can recommend. A number of great restaurants in the area but the B&B serves the best possible breakfast. A hop skip and a jump (100m) from the beach which is great for a walk or a run.

Mt Bijoux was everything we expected and more. 2 minutes walk to clean beach and unbelievable view of Table Mountain and Robben Island. Fabulously clean and comfortable accommodation. Sumptuous breakfasts everyday with a good choice of warm and cold servings at time of our choice.
Above all, Lilian and Clara were great hosts always ready to make us feel at home. We also liked the fact that it is a small establishment and so even when all the suites are occupied it's a relaxed and personal environment unlike in a hotel.
The only thing that may need upgrading are the TV screens to more modern and bigger screens. But the overall experience still meant we did not watch much TV anyway. We would definitely stay at Mt Bijoux many times over and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Many establishments were fully booked in Cape Town. I was fortunate to come across Mt Bijoux. The establishment is well located with a great view of the sea and Robben Island. There were sea views from both my room and the breakfast area. Lilian, the Manager, is excellent and takes good care of the guests. Nothing is too much for her.
The room is well decorated and clean. Unlike with most other guest houses I have visited, this one has a fully stocked fridge. You can consume and pay as per price list in the room.
Breakfast was marvellous. I will give this establishment a 4 out of 5.
I will visit this establishment again.

Spent 4 nights there last week. Great location (overlooking Table Mountain to your left and Robben Island to your right). I was lucky enough to have a room upstairs. So could really take advantage of the views, even better with a glas of wine on the balcony.
Some nice local restaurants within walking distance. Very good breakfast, also benefitting from the great views from the breakfast room. And finally a great host with Lilian. Can strongly recommend to stay there.
