My family and I would definatley come back to Aquarius. The staff are really the ones who make all the difference. From when we arrived until when we left, there was no task to small they could not help us with. And they were always kind and patient and pleasant to deal with. This always makes a world of difference when you are away from home. They make it feel like home and that you are welcome.
The only concern I had in some instances, is the cleanliness of some aspects upon arrival, but what we addressed was taken care of instantaneously upon giving feedback, and it was not major things. It just looked like human oversight.
It would be great if the unit had a heating and cooling system. Because the unit was not sun facing, we felt quite cold on the first day we arrived. It would be nice to have heating/cooling system to control what temperateure is your comfort level.
All said however, we will come back without thinking about where to stay at all. A fantastic family area and place. My kids (and boy are they picky) loved it, and you know that means a lot to a mom and dad.

The size of the apartment is great. Also very close to the beach. But I will never again stay at Aquarius luxury apartments. We were told that we can strictly only check in at 2pm due to them getting the apartment clean and ready.
When we arrived we didn't have pillow cases on our beading. Tv room area wasn't clean, was very dirty underneath the couch. And later the evening we found "brades" (a previous guests hair) underneath the couch cushions. We also didn't have a remote for our aircon and struggled to sleap every night.
I spoke with reception 3 times but nothing was done about the aircon on removing of the brades.
I literally waited the whole day for the cleaning lady to arrive so that I could tell her where to clean.
They also have a strict rule apparently about no noise after 10pm. This wasn't adhered to at all by other guests partying throughout the night.
I will never go back and won't recommend anyone to go there.

The location was best positioned to my needs.

We looked forward to out stay at aquarius luxury.
Upon arrival firstly the key cards was jammed at the door and was a constant struggle at first and the entire entrance way to the apartment stunk so ba dof marijuana it was slightly unbareable, the apartment had no basics provided such as drinking glasses and dish soap and things to clean the dishes we had to spend the first day phoning up and down for things that should have been provided, the cold tap in on-suite was not working.
The wifi was not working properly in our apartment, the bedding was not clean and had food stains that was clearly unwashed and not a stain left behind after wash. The table on balcony was filthy. We became ill on the last day.
No clean bath towels provided throughout
Management asked for mail so i would not have had to leave this review but after emailing manager David as requested by him they had given no response, if this is the service they give then dont bother.
On the bright side 1 staff member Patience needs a raise very friendly and very helpful.
Otherwise money wasted for such service provided they should consider closing or refunding.

We made a one-night reservation months in advance via a booking agency and received a response that the reservation was “confirmed and complete.” Many weeks later we suddenly received a note informing us that the room was already “fully booked.” We queried this with Aquarius, but they couldn’t care less. They obviously received a reservation for a longer period so just bumped us to make way for a better offer.

The was the worse unfriendly experience I've ever had. The Staff is so unprofessional and dont care about being helpful. Access to pool was denied. R1000 deposit is required for breakage but several itens was already broken in the room. The only good thing about this place is the location.

Smell like sigaret smoke, bracket in bathroom loose. Some Staff battle to communicate properly in english. Bed sleep very hard. I expect from this type of place, what you pay per night, that the smell would be clean fresh and that with load shedding, have backup power! But no, 505, did not have back power. The other units we saw did have lights on and back up power? Why is this? When we phone to verify the reservation in English, the lady the phone could not communicate properly, was really a frustration to understand and get feedback. The unit have DsTV which was working well. In the kitchen there are no sharp knifes to cut food for preparation, only knife for the table when eating. There are also no plastic or glass containers for left over food to be stored in the fridge. Not with the money, we stay frequently in places but this was not an good experience.

Accommodation & hospitality reviewed from the 09-14 December 2021 was not as pleasant for my family as anticipated. Room service was at its lowest, they would call reception to request an iron and it will never be delivered to them. Payment was made via EFT but the staff will call us early at about 07:00 harassing my family for payment that they have not even checked on their system. Reservation lady was the worst, she promises to call you back & she never does. The discrepancy in costing from different reception members was appalling. The competency of some managers is really Questionable.

The unit we received was not the same as the pictures posted. Our view was obstructed by another building, and it was advertised as a 100% view of Table mountain. There were various maintenance issues, and even after reporting these were not addressed. On first night we also did not get any towels supplied, and this after requesting it numerous times. Kitchen cupboards melamine covers are all pulling away from the actual wood around the stove area, and really tacky.

I booked 4 nights at Aquarius based on it's location. I usually spend a lot of time watching tv at night as a way of relaxing. I reported that the tv had video but no audio. The receptionist told me he couldn't do anything about it because he didn't have anyone who could assist him. Advising him to phone a friend also didn't seem to evoke any great enthusiasm to resolve the issue either.
The main bedroom light and ceiling fan also weren't working. The ceiling fan blades had drooped and have seen better days.
It seems that Aquarius is happy to take your money but they don't seem to be able to provide any after-hours service when asked to step up and walk the extra mile. It's a sign that return business is not a high priority for this institution. The first and last time I will be using this venue. Definitely not an option worth considering if you're used to professional world class service.

Aquarius is a beautifull building nearly situated on the beachfront, it is clean and the décor beautifull, secure friendly staff ,noise will come and go but the experience with us will last forever.

To answer your questions:
Aquarius Luxury Suites is situated in Bloubergstrand which is approximately 15-20 minutes drive from the City Centre. More and more guests have decided to escape the hustle and bustle of the City and stay with us as it offers awesome views of the ocean and Table Mountain and has lovely white sandy beaches. If it's a relaxing holiday you are seeking, then you can enjoy the beaches and the restaurants that are all within walking distance. To see the many sights Cape Town has to offer, you can catch a cab or take the MyCiti bus through to the City. The best place to start at would be the V & A Waterfront. Here you can catch the Hop-on-Hop-off buses. There are 2 routes you can take which are both equally spectacular. One route gives you an oversight of the City and the other takes you to Hout Bay and Constantia where you can enjoy wine tasting at one of the wine farms and a delicious lunch as well as discovering the sights on the outskirts of the City. Should you want to see the country side, we can assist in arranging other sight-seeing tours or a personal tour guide who will customize a tour specific to your needs. Our reception is open 24/7.
The views from the Penthouse balconies: The one has views of the mountain and ocean and the other over the ocean and the town. It is quite private as the private gym is situated on the same floor but has tinted glass and is not in use all day long. Should you wish, I can send you some photographs.
