Detailed Reviews
This is a fabulous Adult only small Hotel. Spotlessly clean always, Rooms are large and comfortable, cleaned to perfection everyday, new towels etc are automatic. The Hotel is built around the pool which is the central point of the Hotel, directly next to the Dining area .The Pool water is not too cold to swim in , in fact we needed it as it was so hot. About a five minute walk away is a very large beach. I didn't see one piece of litter (Plastic Bottles etc) on the beach. The area and pavements likewise do not have any litter and loads of litter bins are about everywhere. The Hotel is very quiet, no loud music around the pool, light gentle background music only. This Hotel is designed for people who enjoy peace and quiet. The breakfast is brilliant, everything for every taste. They do not provide lunch at the Hotel, which is a shame, many people only needed a nice sandwich or salad , a limited menu would be fine to avoid people having to go out locally for lunch. The evening meal is the only criticism that I have, there are salads etc but the cooked meals are not particularly good. Next time I would book Room and breakfast only. There are some and I say some Restaurants in the area not many but they are quite good quality. All the staff are wonderful, courteous, well mannered and you can see they enjoy talking with the guests. Late evening people tended to gather outside the dining room by the boot and chat the evening away, unlike many Hotels the drinks were very reasonably priced, a large beer was about 3 and a half euros, bottles of wine from £10.

+1
Just returned from this hotel, location perfect view to the sea. Hotel was spotless, food was excellent. Breakfast had a wide selection and of good quality. Evening meals were very good. Fillet steak €16 with trimmings delicious. Bar/ Waiting staff very attentative & every afternoon they came round with fruit. Reception staff so friendly and helpful. Rooms has everything you need and we could use the spa free of charge with robes provided. Pool area was my favorite, luxury towels provided , lovely sunbeds of good quality not your normal plastic crap& plenty parasols if you need to use them & you could reserve a bed from 10 am without an issue lots of beds . Mixed nationalities stayed here. One night we had rain and the hotel even offered us umbrellas. The small touches count. Would definately return just a relaxing break .

Visited back in September with my husband and adult teenage daughter.
We were looking for somewhere small and adult only but with things to do as well.
My daughter had her own room and we found that paying for the 2 rooms was really good value for money ax she wasn’t stung with too much of a single supplement.
We all really loved the accommodation and couldn’t fault it, but we especially liked that we could use the facilities around us within the Estival Park complex.
We enjoyed watching the shows at night in the main hotels.
We had free access to the Spa complex which was a great opportunity to chill and relax.
We have booked to go back in June 2024 and cannot wait.

Putting aside the fact that we had rain 3 days out of the 6 full days, it really brought home that there is nothing to do at this hotel at the best of times.
We didn't let the bad weather get the better of us, visited, Cambrills, Salou, and Tarragona, none of which had that much to offer either.
So, the hotel.
Generally communication was an issue, very few of the staff had little or no grasp of English, even worse, nothing is documented, no leaflets to let you know what's going on elsewhere, even in the dining room nothing has a note on it, no prices for items from the bar either.
The staff weren't approachable, in fact more than one of them made no effort to be polite and even went out of there way to treat the English differently from the other nationalities.
Probably the biggest hotel room we have ever stayed in with a decent balcony overlooking the pool.
A lot of foliage around, which probably explains why the mozzies were biting!!
Cleaning left a lot to be desired, never heard a hoover being used the whole time we were there and actually caught the cleaner mopping our tiled floor with a bucket of water that was so dirty she put more muck on it than took off it!!
Dining, in over 50 years of travelling the world, probably the worst food we've ever encountered.
Breakfast was always luke warm, they do have a microwave and that's the 1st time I've ever seen one in a dining room.
Overcooked bacon, undercooked eggs, either chicken or chorizo sausages, no pork, warm milk for cereals so we had to buy our own milk and store it in the room fridge and take it down every morning and no member of staff questioned this, a toaster that burnt the bread if it was upped to number 4 from number 3 which hardly browned it and to cap it all, jelly served at this time of day!!
Evening meal, again, lukewarm food, no soup starter and no ice cream for dessert, just bought in cakes, you had to forward plan to take butter in from breakfast for the rolls as none was available, the same with biscuits from breakfast time as none was available for cheese in the evening.
Entertainment, none in the hotel, you had to go to other hotels on the complex where you had to sit with screeching families and smokers that put the 70s to shame, the 2 acts we saw though were very good.
On the plus side, you get 3 hours a day free in the spa which is top notch.
Our last day, we had an early flight, having to leave the hotel at 7.30. and no provision is available to give you an early breakfast!!
All in all, probably the worst holiday we've ever had so definitely we wont be returning!!

From the reception, with a glass of cava, until the end of our stay, we liked the hotel. The adults-only hotel was perfect. The receptionist was very efficient, explaining all the aspects: Spa, meals,... The spacious rooms and comfortable beds with coffee service, the shower and the sink separated from the toilet and bidet. With bathrobe and towels for the Spa.
The only thing we didn't like was that the rooms (we were 2 couples) were close to the paddle tennis court and you could hear the noise of the paddles from early in the morning.
The Spa was good, also highlighting the friendliness of the receptionist who also assisted us in accessing the facilities.
The breakfast and dinner were correct, for dinner they offered you to go to the buffet of the other hotels in the complex.
The hotel and the paddle tennis courts are part of a complex with other larger, family-type hotels, with entertainment. The complex is pedestrian and allows for a pleasant walk. The hotel is located in front of the promenade and we were able to park without problem. We have it noted to return.

Large and modern room with decent size of balcony. Tea and coffee making available in room, though replacement coffee pods and water have to be purchased, they are not replaced daily. Beds are comfortable and set out as singles, though they may be close together.
Plenty of sunbeds and space around the pool though, as usual, the pool water is not heated.
Restaurant is pristine but the dinner menu is repetitive and restrictive. Cold starters via salad bar, grilled meat and fish to order served to the table, cold sweets and fruit available for self service also. Breakfast service is similar.
There is a small bar near the restaurant that serves the usual beer, wine and cocktails. There are no relaxation areas for after dinner or any entertainment in house. Reminiscent of a hotel that you may use as an overnight stop on a long journey, rather than a holiday hotel for a longer stay.
A hotel that attracts many nationalities not a typical "Brits abroad" venue.
Close to many restaurants and bars via a paved passageway. Across the main road is the beach and promenade. Traffic is fairly light given that it's also a bus route giving easy access to nearby resorts and towns.
This is a quiet hotel, unless a large group arrives, that would make a good base for exploring the area.
Visited for a week beginning 18/05/2024.

Hotel itself very clean great to have use of spa and gym on site. Small hotel in a large complex of 2 others and apartments. Roof top bar and pool doesnt open till last week of June so we didnt get the use of it. Close to shops and airport. My only let down was the food. Buffett cold for breakfast and dinner (hot plates could not be working) and the menu that you couid order off in the evening only had 1 meat on offer and 1 fish off the grill although mutiple meats were on the menu. The cereal at breakfast was stale as not in a air tight container

Ideal hotel if you are truly looking for a holiday. I found out from a friend who told me when I said I was looking for only adults and the truth is that I have been luxurious. So that's it, I'll be back in September.
Highlight especially the friendly and competent staff. The spacious rooms and almost all with pool views.
They gave me a room and in the morning I listened a lot to the birds, I asked for change and even though it was complete, they gave it to me. The thing that a couple of rooms whose front door overlooks gardens where there are birds and as normal sing like crazy as soon as the sun rises. The noise came through the bottom of the door, they changed me. From room to one where there were no trees (those on the paddle tennis court) and great.
For the comment that you hear a lot of padel, I say that I have not noticed. You hear something if. But at bedtime there is no one playing and it is a very bearable noise.
The restaurant very well, enough variety of food and good quality. Highlight the breakfast.
As for drink prices, they have good prices, not worth going elsewhere.
Highlight the Almaris pool, a delight, quiet even for swimming sports. The staff there is very nice, I really went every day.
In short, if you want to rest and disconnect, it is your place.

Once at the entrance you can breathe tranquility, the pool is very good and the rooms are large with a small terrace. friendly and attentive staff. Breakfasts don't give me much to eat, goodness, natural juice, fruits, cheeses, sausages, sweets. Etc etc... And for a couple who has had triplets and are older at this point in our lives, the adults-only hotel in this hotel is our escape from a somewhat stressed life. Next to the hotel is the Spa where you can enjoy the benefits of thermal water.

I was very impressed with this hotel, most of the staff speak English, the receptionists were fluent. The accommodation was spacious and spotless, coffee maker, robe and slippers in the room and a huge bed! The pool area was immaculate as were the rest of the grounds on the resort. There is free daily access to the Spa/hydro pool which was well worth the visit! I met some lovely people here mostly older couples, the pool area was chilled and quiet with access to the bar all day. poll towels are provided for a returnable deposit. It is a couple of minutes walk to the beautiful beach, and buses are very regular in either direction towards Tarragon for Salou and Cambrils.
The buffet meals were varied, something for everyone, I was only disappointed that the hot buffet didn't offer more local and traditional dishes.
I wouldn't hesitate to return here and explore the region further.
