The host couple Arlene and Greg are very friendly and helpful, and their place is beautiful. On the lakeside, very quiet and serene, and scenic. The room is all wood, comfortable beds and the attached bathroom is more than functional. Sumptuous breakfast with advice on what to see around and do in Tobermory.

Beautiful house and guest houses - Captain's Quarters were very clean, comfortable and cozy. Everything needed is available. Delightful breakfast - healthy, hearty and a bit different every day. Owners care about their guests and were understanding when we got in late - left the door unlocked. It was a bit freaky driving at night after the sun went down, but working M-F that was our only option. No lights on the winding roads leading to the house! They provided awesome advice on what to do, when to book excursions, how to get a spot at the national park. You'll be taken care of at Caribbean of the North! I'd love to visit again. x

Stayed two nights at this bed and breakfast in summer of 2016. First night we stayed in main house as this was the only room available. The second night moved to the private suite located separate from main house which had king bed, private bathroom, tv balcony etc overlooking Lake Huron. Extremely comfortable room. Beautiful waterfront with gazebo and swimming area. Hosts very friendly and accommodating.

We were pleasantly surprised how clean and wonderful this spacious Nautical Queen Suite was. Amazing view. We had breakfast by the lake> calm, peaceful and quiet. The new upper deck on our cabin provided a fabulous opportunity to watch the stars at night. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights August 11 - 13, 2017. Arlene & Greg thank you for treating us like family. It's about 20 mins away from downtown Tobermory but it's worth it. No traffic on the road and the route was scenic. Azwim & Bibi

We went to Tobermory to explore the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. After spending the first day on Flowerpot Island, we were looking forward to a relaxing evening. The moment we pulled into the driveway, Arlene came out to greet us. She offered us homemade treats as we chatted, with the breathtaking view of sunset on Lake Huron behind us. It was an absolute oasis. Quiet, peaceful, clean, comfortable, relaxing and fully equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and home cooked by Greg and Arlene, and we had a lovely time visiting with them and with the other guests. We honestly couldn't have been happier with our stay, and we only wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely come back again!

My husband and I stayed in the Captain's Quarters this past weekend. We came to hike the Bruce Trail and to paddle board on Emmett Lake. It was nice to come back to our very comfortable suite (people over 6 feet tall might have a problem as the ceiling height is a little lower than the standard height). The king size bed was so comfortable and we loved sitting on the deck. Looking at the water was so relaxing! We really enjoyed meeting Arlene and Greg and talking with the other visitors at breakfast was very interesting. We were happy to be away from the bustle of Tobermory. We brought quinoa salads, smoked salmon, wine, etc. so we didn't feel the need to go to a restaurant for dinner - especially after being on the trails all day. We'd definitely come back!

Just spent 3 days at the best B&B ever. To call it a Bed and Breakfast is a gross understatement. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters which is a self contained unit over the boathouse, it has a very comfortable king size bed and a walk out to a private deck over looking the water. This suite is equipped like a hotel room with microwave, coffee maker, Ipod docking station etc. The owners are superfriendly and acted like tour guides giving us lots of tips on local attractions and things to do. They offer a full breakfast that rivals any hotel. Hope to stay there again next year!

My mom and I had a great stay at this B&B. Arlene and Greg are wonderful - very friendly and welcoming hosts. We stayed in the Nautical Queen Suite for a night, and Captain's Quarters for three nights. Both suites are beautiful, both offering lots of room. The Captain's Quarters was our favorite as it included a gorgeous private deck that faced the lake. We loved that the property was right on the water. There's even steps that lead right into the lake. The photos do not do this place justice - you have to see it for yourself :) All in all, we highly recommend this B&B and will be returning again.
