Don’t look on their Facebook page as they don’t allow any negative posts/reviews and will just remove you from the group for it. Was there 2 weeks ago wouldn’t come again, more like a 3 star than a 4 star resort. If your in a water villa the walk to the bar is long especially if your disabled like my self. Majority of the staff are friendly but some of them don’t acknowledge you when you talk to them and just look at you simple. The pictures you get are amazing and the sea is clear blue the wildlife you see is breath taking. The all inclusive menu is very limited with one page of drinks. If your paying for your drinks you have about 6 pages full. All inclusive food wasn’t the best and was always cold. Going by their Facebook page everyone has their bed in their room decorated on their last night (we didn’t get this not sure why) it’s very peaceful at the Maldives which is great but we wouldn’t go back due to there being more negatives than positives about the place.

I have spent amazing 1 week on Maledives with my brother. We had a private waiter in restaurant Main Bar - Mamun. He was so kind, really nice to talk and helpful with information about the Island. Really enjoyed the holidays. Recommend everyone to visit the Sun Island and talk with Mamun.

They made a mistake upon our arrival so they didn't have our room available. They gave us another room for the first 3 nights with a promise that we can pay extra if we wanted to stay until the rest of our trip. When we wanted to pay the extra they didn't let us do that, we had to leave our room while the other was still not ready and wasted one whole day of our stay switching rooms. Once we arrived to the new room, you can't go in the water, the place is full of rocks, we got our feet all bloody trying to get in the water. They don't know their rooms, they are overbooking them and will leave you with disappointment.

At the beginning of October we were lucky enough to visit Sun Island Resort for 7 nights. Terribly beautiful island with crystal clear waters and white beaches. Amazing staff, always smiling people ready to help you. We had problems with Fly Dubai because they missed our flight. Fortunately, we received full assistance from Sameeh, who is a front office supervisor. Without his help, he would have led us terribly hard. Thank you Sameeh you are a good person and a professional!
