Fabulous beer as always from Frasers Folly. The Red IPA is fantastic. The Citra and African Queen hops is very notable as in the Hoppy Lager, however, by combining Red Muscadel grapes, made it amazing. We are proud to have their beer at The Hickory Shack in Elgin. As for the wines, The Black Oyster Catcher 100% Semillon 2016 is my favorite. I love the blackcurrant aromas. All the wines are really remarkable and exceptional. These cool climate wines with penetrating fruit flavors at the tip of The African continent are truly unique. It was a fabulous stay in one of your cottages. The view over the Elim veld is magnificent with a glass of your wine in front of a fire. Dries Tatsiana and Mia. Ps. Mia had a great time with your Husky.

I took my wife here for 2 days on our honeymoon travel and was very impressed. The cottage has an extremely romantic auro with the inside fireplace, dimmed lights and candles. The restaurant offers super delicious food accompanied by wine tasting as well as beer tasting. We will definitely be returning soon.

The facilities are clean and well maintained. Curtains would be appreciated over the smaller windows. The winery and cottages provide a nice place to view the stars but after harvest the area is a little bleak during the day. There cottages are self-service and it should be noted that the winery's kitchen closes in the late afternoon.

We stayed for 3 nights. the cottages are basic but clean and had all the required soft touches. Pitty about the main road so clode to the cottages but that said in is not a busy road. The view makes up for it. The pool is nice but not practical in front of the restaurant and main road. The staff are friendly but service can be a bit slow when busy at the restaurant. That said the burger and steak pan were excellent!! The craft beer is good and the Moer Koffie Stout one of the best!!. Down the road is Zoetendal for your fresh meat if you want to braai at your cottage. Enjoyed our stay and long visits on the stoep of the restaurant..
