Detailed Reviews
We stayed in this Hotel in April 2014. For the rates we paid, the accommodation was quite reasonable- the hotel was clean and neat, although it could do with a small bit of TLC. It was reminiscent of a time gone past, so definitely had an air of nostalgia to it.
Towels were provided for us, and something which I have not seen for a very long time- a small Lux soap bar- was also provided. (Not many hotels do complimentary soap anymore.) Bedding was clean and the room was tidy too.
The breakfast service in the morning was good, and the staff was friendly as well, and we had a comfortable stay.
The manager was quite helpful in booking and confirming rates online, which was a real plus- and card facilities are available to pay for your stay.
Location is quite central to the rest of town, so getting around is very easy- the staff were also quite helpful in pointing out local attractions as well. The directions I was given were very easy to follow as well.
Parking was out in the street, which didn't really bother us, as night-staff have a clear view of the exit and parking in front of the front door.
The hotel only provides breakfast so lunch and supper will be yours, although there is no shortage of places in town to visit for food- most of them are within walking distance as well.
If you’re in the area and need a place to stay- well worth it. I’ll definitely go back if I am in the area.

This is the place where companies can meet, bikers can stop on their trails and families can stop overnight. Affordable, neat, well run, with bar and conference centre when needed. The bar is popular amongst locals. It is situation right in the centre of town giving you walking access to almost everything. In general a quiet town, nice for a stop overnight, or a base to give you access to the whole Overberg.

Room Tip:Â Rooms in the front tend to be noisier as it faces main road, but it is a quiet town in general.

staff is friendly, will advice on great sight seeing and bay spots and eating places, location is good, nice and clean at all times, makes you feel right at home. loved it there, there is toiletries in the room upon arrival with bath towels, tv, extra blankets and pillow in closet, good lighting and ventilation, enough room, chairs to sit in, nice big mirror, we got at the hotel at around midnight - they showed us to our room and wished us a good night - without hassling you with any paperwork, i think that was super service to allow us to go to bed and will do the paperwork later, it shows humanity and trust, what more do you want?

We stayed here before the Foot of Africa Marathon. Clean and neat. Place looks refurbished. Pay extra for breakfast which we did not have. Worth it for the price. Good central location. Nice having a kettle in room for tea and coffee.
