The staff at Costa Blanca were intentionally unhelpful. I was trying to get in touch with another guest, and they 'checked the register' with no luck. Then, two days later they said they had left the day before. Very frustrating, and it could have been solved with a little customer service.

Other than that the place has a good location, but a bit noisy at night.

This hotel is nothing more than just OK. It has a great view of the beach and is just one step from it. However, the hotel needs more hygiene. The traps are dirty and it stinks awful on the way down to the pool-area. Furthermore the pool is also not clean at all, it is dirty since you can not see under the water and it fleets around insects and other things.

Talking about the restaurant it is very expensive. The prices of the food wont be cheaper than 30 soles for a good plate. The food itself is ok but not worth the expensive price. We chosed a continental breakfast and it only consisted; two small breads, butter and marmelade, one glass of juice and tea or coffee. No ham, cheese or any other extra. There was a possibilty to add ham to the breakfast but it would cost extra. Very strange! We know it is a continental breakfast but that does not mean we should only get our bread with butter (!?). Also, the restaurant is full of mosqitos that wont let you eat in peace. Very annoying since they are flying around your food and your face the whole time.

Today we are really in need of internet and the Wifi connection in this hotel is a DISASTER. They have four Wifi-zones available but all of them works terrible. Even from the room it is bad. The connection was ok for a moment and then it disappeared or got really slow. Very frustating.

In terms of service the hotel administration was kinda nice. They helped us with our questions but one of the guys who worked at the reception was less interested in giving good service. One day we had to ask three times for new towels, since they would not give at the first time when they were cleaning the room.

In summary there are a lot better places to stay than there, it is OK for 2-3 days to be here and the only good is the view of the beach which you can see from every dorm. Overall, dirty and not worth it.

The Costa Blanco Hotel in Mancora Vitchayito Beach was fantastic! We looked at 4 other hotels in Mancora, Peru and Las Pocitas before deciding to stay here. The place was the best that we found with the best view of the beach and ocean right at your balcony. The pool was cleaner than the rest and we only paid $60 per night for all 5 of us in a triple room. They have great hot water 24/7 and the restaurant was one of the best we ate at on our week long vacation. I recommend staying with them and we plan to return.

First of all, it was a mission to get to this hotel. The city really needs to fix its bumpy and dirt road. The staff here don't care about customer service, are snobs, and are rude. The restaurant has a great view of the ocean but the food sucks and the waiters take forever to bring you a menu and to bring your food out. The rooms are dirty and old, the tv didn't work and the staff took 2 days to get us another one, and the pools are dirty. Over all, this place is not welcoming. If the staff valued customer service and making their guests happy, I bet more people would come or would want to stay here again and recommend this hotel to their family and friends. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Go stay at El mirador de vichayito which is right next door. That place has better customer service since we dined at their restaurant.

I LOVE IT!! Really, what a nice place, beautiful. The receptionists were very funny, the food VERY VERY delicious. It must be the best seafood chaufa I have ever eaten in my life. I had to go to the kitchen to congratulate the chef. A lovely person, Mrs. Ingrid. The rooms are quite spacious, I liked the hilly area at the top better. The photos from the terrace turn out great, and with the sunset, Uffff, even better. Anyway, I'll come back one day! :)

I made a reservation for 4 nights, today I checked in and the service is terrible! Dirty bathrooms, no paper and even misleading advertising.
When I arrived they assigned me a room, I left my things and walked out facing the beach. When I returned to the room I realized that the bathroom had beautiful things glued to the wall, as if someone had shaved and glued everything to the shower wall (you can see the photo).
Besides, the reservation included a queen bed and it barely fits two people. Finally they moved me to another room, when I changed rooms no one was kind enough to help me with the suitcases.
The new room was much better, we took a shower and went out to dinner. When we returned we were surprised that an unpleasant smell was coming out of the bathroom that filled the room with a smell of sewage, so I went to the reception to complain but the lady who attended had terrible treatment, I invited her to stop by the room so she could understand what I was referring to but his attitude and response were terrible. At 11 pm they had to change my room again, practically returning to the first room. You can see the photos of the 3 keys that have been given to us so far.
Honestly, if you want to have a good time on these beaches, don't come to this hotel. Terrible attention!

The experience is unique, the attention is careful at all times, the restaurant with excellent seasoning, has three pools, the rooms with excellent view, in all facilities the toilet is thorough. The location on such a quiet beach gives you a bonus. Excellent place to disconnect and enjoy.

I have convinced myself that Vichayito is the most beautiful beach in the world! I fell in love with the hotel, very friendly and attentive people. And the BEST of all is that it has a Mini Market in the same hotel. Everything is very complete indeed.
