It was a dream stay! The setting was magnificent, the meals extraordinary, the staff attentive and discreet. No false notes. The thalassotherapy in a seawater swimming pool got us back into shape as well as the massages, seaweed baths and aqua-gym. Awesome !

Amazing place, will definitely return. I went with a friend for a 6 night Detox break. What can I say…… The hotel? Gorgeous. The staff? Wonderful. The Food? Amazing, The facilities? Top notch. We expected a diet, but the food was incredible. We were never hungry. We were aware we were on a diet, but not to the extent that we were going without good, chef made, filling meals. We highly recommend. I have to stretch to find anything to say wasn’t 100%, anyone going should note that most staff and hotel guests only speak Spanish, this wasn’t a problem as we managed with a bit of google translate, but working out, the restaurant and having treatments were predominantly in Spanish. We seriously cannot wait to save up and go back.

They gave us a voucher for a thermal tour plus a 40' relaxing massage and food at the Palasiet club. The normal thermal tour, but the massage, performed by Laura, was wonderful, with great professionalism and delicacy. And the food at the club was 10, as always we have been. Good attention and quality of all the dishes, there were many people, we did not have to wait, everything was very coordinated and on point. The good professionalism of everyone is evident. We will be back.

Last week I went with my father to the Thalaso Palasiet to do the biomarine tour, massages and also eat at the Palasiet club. I have been a regular customer for a thousand years. I have left a fortune over the years, as has my father. The person who assisted us this time told us that the 10-session voucher that my father had had expired and that he still had 7 sessions left to spend, he threw it in the trash. Indeed, the voucher had expired, but there was a pandemic and it could not be spent, and for years after the pandemic, when the center was reopened, they did not offer all the services, in addition to the fact that older people were at risk and could not attend. In fact, on other occasions they accepted my expired voucher as normal. And the answer of "they wouldn't have noticed" doesn't work for me. And this cannot be now yes, not now, for you until this year, for the other until this month... Because since the way of proceeding is so unprofessional, what you should have done (to an older person who for the covid and post covid she couldn't go and regular customers, this lady must have been new) to have given her an alternative, that she had just spent it for example during the vacation period but not throwing it away with the money it is and also seeing that we were going to leave That specific day more money in other services. In addition to all this, when they did the massage they took me to a small room that is not the one in the massage area, on a super uncomfortable stretcher, at the pool I had to ask for towels, etc. The showers are broken, there were jacuzzis that did not work, anyway
But this is not going to stay like that.

Excellent facilities and unbeatable location. The friendliness of the staff is enormous. Highlight the attention of Irene, at reception and Andrei in the restaurant. It is a pleasure to be served with the education, kindness and professionalism shown by everyone in general, and Irene and Andrei in particular. Congratulations

Up a hill, slightly out of town, this thermal spa complex has a feel appropriate to Benacassim's slightly faded past. We stayed in Ischia in Italy in a similar thermal spa (see other reviews) but this was better. This is very much a review NOT about the music festival or a stay during the festival. I think a place always has a different "feel" during those times.

We arrived on a blazing hot day in early September. Apparently this is a good time to go if you want to avoid the crowds, yet get good weather. We came by train from Valencia and asked the hotel to pick us up from Benacassim train station. If you do come by this route, book a "regional express" train ticket. They're about 5-8 euros as compared to the standard intercity tickets of 20+ euros. The regional trains take 10 mins longer. We should have booked a return ticket as Benacassim station is unmanned with no ticket machine. We were also told that you can only buy tickets online if you have a Spanish credit card. Google "renfe trains" for more info. The taxi cost 20 euros. The train cost 15 euros for 2.5 of us.

The taxi was efficient and large. We were greeted by a helpful young lady, Christina. She's worked there for 5 years and was efficient, helpful and considerate.

We had asked for a quiet non smoking room, preferably with a view. We were given room 320. It is the end room on the corridor. It was large and well kept. The decor is well demonstrated in other pictures. It's not minimalist, but instead is of a certain style which is perhaps more "chintzy". It was large, clean and nothing was broken (on the whole). The view was a side view of the sea ie you craned your neck out and saw the sea. However you could sit comfortably and view the beach. Acceptable. HOWEVER, we were horrified to find that our immediate next door neighbours were heavy smokers and this, combined with the smoke rising from the kitchen staff having a break and smoking below us made the balcony effectively unusable for us and our baby. we asked if we could move.

24 hours later we were dutifully told that another room had come up. It would be the luck of the draw as to whether our neighbours were smokers (there are non non smoking floors). We moved. Room 207 was lovely. It had a direct view over the sea and caught the afternoon sun. It had a lovely feel about it (in contrast to room 320). I wonder if some of the divergent reviews here simply reflect different room experiences.

Incidentally, commenting on some of the previous reviews, the wifi worked in room 207 but not 320.

There were 3 pools - 2 outdoor and 1 indoor. The indoor pool is linked to the health spa. However, this is not a spa in the sense of a modern spa where people go to be pampered. This is a traditional spa with hydrotherapy rooms - it reminded me of the spas in Budapest. By the way, bring a swimming cap when you go - they don't let you into the indoor swimming pool without one (I used the free shower cap in the thermal spa in ischia). The swimming pools are smallish but fine. The one on the top terrace is an infinity pool looking out to the beach. The pools were nearly empty whenever we were there. I think the atmosphere of the place was meant to be adult and relaxing. For example, there were signs next to the outdoor pools requesting patrons to "respect the peace and quiet" (or something lie that). Not easy with a young baby. The indoor pool is off limits to under 5s. Although reserved for guests, the lower pool (the pool not on the terrace) has local children sneaking in in the afternoon to play (so it's perhaps not quiet all the time!).

The spa area and indoor pool area are closed in the mid afternoon - a very Spanish siesta!

There's also a good gym. There's a reasonable range of equipment, but was all high end quality (ie expensive).

TV had an English news channel but that was it. Most visitors were French or Spanish.

Now the food was good. Very good. In fact, this was the best food we've had on holiday for some time. Breakfast was a buffet - good quality food. Nothing cooked, but a Mediterranean buffet. Good. The evening meal was excellent. Not typically or solely Spanish but well cooked food with a French slant. Very good. Meat done just right. Good salad buffet to begin (& I'm not a big salad fan). we went half board answered happy with that choice. To illustrate the nature of the traditional spa health retreat atmosphere, the menu had specific options if you wanted to eat a 750 calorie diet. This was reinforced by the lectures given (in Spanish) about diets.

The grounds of the hotel were well kept and attractive. There is a lift between the ground floor and the spa on lower levels- remember that the hotel is built on a hill, so it's not underground.

Another review was misleading. There is no lift to the beach. You take the lift down to the spa complex (or walk down the path outside) and this takes you to the front of the hotel, which is on a cul de sac. You then either walk down the road or take the cycle path ("via verde") to the bottom of the hill (a few hundred yards). Then you cross a busy road to get to the hotel vorramar and the beach. It's not far at all - a 5 min walk. The beach then stretches on for 6.9km. This is also the start of the "path of the villas". The beachfront on this part of the seafront is lined by grand 19-early 20th century villas built when Benacassim had its heyday as the destination of choice for well to do city folk.however, the point I wanted to make was that the hotel is a short walk to the beach.

The nearest supermarket was a 15min walk away - and not a particularly pleasant walk at that. Consider walking along the beachfront to the old tower and then heading directly inland. That takes you to a medium sized supermarket.

No mention has been made of the Via Verde by other reviewers. This is a cycle path which runs more or less out the front of the hotel. It's an interesting walk (the hotel rents bikes but we would not be able to take the baby) through intertesting landscape. The tourist information office has more details on the type of scenery you see.

Don't walk along the road out of town. Not much to see, just lots of traffic and a footpath which occasionally peters out. On my way back from this trip out of town, I spied a small road which would take me to where the hotel joins the Via Verde. I took it. Don't. There's a house which leaves its guard dog unchained and roaming on the small road.

Staff were excellent. This may be helped by the fact that they weren't that busy after the weekend. Nevertheless, they were very helpful and made this a welcoming experience.

So would we go back? Not for a beach holiday, but perhaps for a traditional Spa break. And perhaps without children.

We stayed during FIB 2012 and it was a great experience. After attending FIB 2011 and staying in Orpesa del Mar, we wanted to ensure we were closer to the event this year and stay somewhere a bit nicer. If you haven't been to FIB before, your days are flipped over. The festival goes on throughout the night so you can feel a bit 'odd' during the days. It was essential this time that we had a nice pool, good breakfast, relaxing surroundings and pleasant guests.

Termas Marinas has this in spades. What it also achieves is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The staff in the pool side bar were accommodating, welcoming and professional. The ice-cold beers were very welcome and the atmosphere very pleasant indeed - we found it hard to drag ourselves away to go out for the festival!

The staff generally were professional, helpful and kind - they are a credit to the
hotel. They accepted the festival goers with great grace even though I
suspect we were slightly different to their clientele the other 51 weeks of
the year!

We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were in the area. By the way, the festival is about 2 miles away. We walked in every night (stopping off for drinks/dinner along the way) and started to walk back after the festival. Taxi queues at the festival are pretty long but we managed to pick up a taxi every night in town as they were heading back to the festival and cost us aroun 5 euros.

Thank you very much. We've just seen some people of the staff of the hotel your comment about the Hotel and we like what you have wrote about us. I must say that all the British people who come to the Festival and specially those who stay at the hotel are very nice, clean, amazing and polite people. We don't care your special FIB schedules because we understand the real spirit of this festival as well as we also have ever been there. We hope you to stay with us again next year.

Hotel was very nice and relaxing. Stayed during the FIB festival with my partner. The rooms were very small and we didn't find them to comfortable, expected more to be honest. The hotel is 2 far to walk from
The festival, i would say it takes you between 45 min to an hour.I would stay somewhere closer next time. We had nice relaxing stay although did feel that the hotel is more suited to Spanish pensioners. Don't think it was worth the top dollar prices.

Authentic hotel, some people might find it old style though. It was non peak season so it was quiet and relaxing, not sure what the situation is during peak season. Love the indoor spa seawater pool, sauna, steam room, and can go to aqua fitness, yoga etc and treatment such as massage. Quite friendly staff even they don't speak English. Basic breakfast with some local speciality. Haven't tried the dinner at hotel but heard it's not as good as the opposite restaurant owned by the same owner.
