Detailed Reviews
We stayed here 5 weeks at the beginning of the year. A lovely site, run by a lovely family who couldn’t do more for you. The site isn’t too big which is lovely, the facilities very good and kept very clean. It is a very relaxed site just outside the centre of Benicàssim, ideally placed for the cycle routes, the town and the beach.
The full restaurant doesn’t run at this time of year, but at least twice a week they put on meals eg delicious fish and chips etc. There is a good bar as well.
We will definitely go back.

The owner spoke great English and couldn't be more helpful. We stayed in what was called an "apartment". From the outside it looked like a bit of a shack but the inside had an inviting caravan look, comfortable, clean and even though we'd been told we'd have to pay for a cooker, fridge and Wi-Fi they were all installed/available free of charge. The location of Camping Tauro isn't far from the beach and is only 2 minutes in a taxi to the town centre and FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicàssim). The pool, shop, bar and restaurant were all bonuses and to say we'd spent the last seven nights roughing it camping at the music festival, staying here felt 5*! The free Wi-Fi offered was limited to one mobile at a time and didn't have the best of signal. I can't really fault this nice, friendly place.
On the day of leaving we ask the site to order us a mini bus to get us to the train station. There were none available so one of us would have to walk, and it would be me. I set off walking but was soon shouted down by a bloke sent by the owner of the site who didn't want me walking the whole way so he gave me a free lift and I was elated by the kindness.

We stayed in this campsite during the festival. It is a lovely site and walking distance (a good walk) to the festival. Lovely staff and pool. Bar and shop also, although would recommend stocking up before as the shop sells basics but does have lovely fresh baguettes in the morning. 10mins or so to the beach.

Easy to find not far from the motorway. Nice pleasant welcome. Very good Acsi price. Plots vary in size but all look perfectly adequate and level. New toilet block in the middle of the campsite was excellent. The other toilet blocks were dated but clean and adequate. Close to the beach. Nice swimming pool. There are a lot of permanent stayers. The restaurant was not open in the evenings. Well worth a stop over or longer.

Very good camp site, with a new toilet block near completion. Friendly, helpful family, always willing to give advice and take visitors to their orangery, to pick oranges "for free!!!"
Good cycle tracks into town and beach areas. Supermarket shopping, (Mercadona & Lidl) and more general shops in town. Active holiday makers will have plenty of scope for interesting walks.

For our first visit to Camping Tauro we stayed just 11 nights but we will definitely return. The owners are working so hard to improve the quality of the site and its facilities. In fact our pitch was right alongside the major work to rebuild the central toilet & shower block but all the tradesmen were as considerate as they could possibly be to all visitors. We ladies had the privilege of using the new extremely smart facilities and I for one was very impressed! The trees have been well cut back for the winter but care is still needed to avoid the extending branches but once sited there is plenty of room if you request a larger pitch when booking. Many pitches have their own water supply, sink and generous electric (at least 10amp) included in the pitch fee. Meals are served on several nights a week but need to be pre-booked. The beautiful bay & town of Benicassim are just 2.5 miles away with excellent cycle paths alongside a very attractive promenade. A happy site and we congratulate Jaume & his brother & sister for striving to make Tauro a very desirable place to spend a relaxing, interesting break. Thank you too to Philipe for making us so welcome & looking after us in the bar/restaurant.

We stayed in one of the static caravans, these have air con which is definitely a good thing. Caravans were clean, not very well equipped but functional (we had to buy a few basics like a corkscrew). Campsite facilities were OK, small pool, bar etc. Pitches are fairly cramped but friendly. The beach, which is excellent is only a short (10 minutes) walk, and the supermarkets are only a short drive. We visited to go to fib and it was only a 10 minute drive away. When we arrived we were a bit worried about the equipment level but overall we would be happy to back (and probably will)..

We have been staying this summer in Camping Tauro with friends from abroad. We were looking for having a quite time next to the beach and good food. We found both in Camping Tauro and the experience was excellent. The facilities are great and the restaurant La Terracita has very good casual food and lovely mojitos. Well done guys!

A very pleasant site, very reasonable pricing. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Bar provides good food and a nice selection of drinks. The new shower block is superb, the older one is adequate, but always warm! Double pitches are spacious and well worth the money. If the pitches were service pitches, rather than just a sunk, then the site would achieve a 5☆ rating.
