We have found this hotel by accident during our journey to Poland during Covid. The great thing is that they accept animals so we haven't got any problem to bring our small dog. the room was in a nice design with quality beds and linens. The bathroom was modern and it was also very clean. One night stay with breakfast included for 2 persons was 88euros which is a great price given you are staying at 1st line from the beach. I wish we could come again under different circumstances and stay longer.

Our room was great- comfortable, spacious with a great view down the beach.

We received a warm welcome on reception from the woman who showed us exactly where the car park was on the opposite side of the street. If you are driving here for a stay then it is well worth paying for their covered car park as the bays outside the hotel fill by 08:00 and rarely did we see any spaces come up in our week here.

We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and again had wonderful service from Alex. The menu del dia was really good and reasonably priced.

The terrace is literally next to the beach and is idyllic. There is an area set aside for hotel guests and you show your room key to prove residence. The menu here was varied and good and we ate there most nights again, reasonably priced and the kitchen is open all day until 11:00pm so you don’t have to wait for normal Spanish meal time! A huge bonus for us😃

There are deck chairs in the room which you can take to the beach which is a really clever, thoughtful touch. Another nice touch is water available in the corridor by reception and usually left over pastries from breakfast.

Can’t find much fault here but do have observations. The dining room seems way too small to cope with the number of guests wanting breakfast and not enough staff. They seemed to struggle to clear tables quickly and there were long periods where hot food wasn’t available so we couldn’t always get our first choice of breakfast selection. Being on holiday it wasn’t the end of the world but frustrating at times.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, loved it. I would recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel for many years. Still has the same charm and the ambiance is “au naturel”. This time, I was not pleased with the half hour breakfast, allegedly if you would like a sea view‼️ I am sorry but whilst on holiday I am NOT being rushed at breakfast time. Also, having to wait for ajo for 20 minutes, albeit being busy. Suggestion❓ Put some cloves out on the serving table but please don’t ask me to rapido❓Also in the residential area there was an outside sporting party going on. I am fine about having fun but think there should be an area to get away from the noise. Thought I had found a quiet place. Only to be told that they were having a conference and would only take 15 minutes instead of 2 hours. Was not happy and therefore we checked out, although we should have been there another 4 days.

The hotel is situated directly at the beach in a great location. However very small rooms with no amenities: coffee/ tea would be the least. The size ofthe room males that only one can move around at the time. The balcony however is great and in summer superb. During our stay the airconditioning in the room wasn’t working; it looked as if it was on, but centrally it was switched off and more guests were complaining.

The restaurant can be skipped:better look for an outside alternative or use the beach terrace with simpler but decant food. The more expensive inside dining is a disappointment: although the internet site gives you high hopes, once inside the food is disappointing: the amuse should have been a warm ‘croquete’, being a house special. Reality: a cold oiled snack. This temperature seems to be an ongoing thing; maybe the kitchen works faster than the service, but all was served at too low temperatures and the fishes from our main dish undercooked. A shme that even friendly staff serving it, can’t make up for. The promise of ‘great cuisine’ is never lived up to.

The cook simply does a sloppy and hasty job; even the baked eggs, at a too simple breakfast, were cold and un-eatable.

Positive on the other hand: pets allowed (maybe the reason why we got a lousy room?), relaxed staff and beach access. Parking of your car upfront however is a challenge.

All in all: disappointing and a sweaty night.

A beautiful old hotel with new refurbished rooms. We had a room facing the sea with a small terrace and a great hammock where you can spend all day lying in the winter son. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with a dog and could take our breakfast and dinner outside on the terrace, which h was pretty cold in the evening. Parking in low season was easy and for free right in front of the hotel. It’s a great hotel right on the beach and at the end of the beautiful boulevard. Great that dogs can run free on the beach from November until March. The only thing we missed was a water cooker in the room. We were also a little annoyed by the Christmas carols playing in the restaurant at the end of January and the constant music on the terraces during the day and evening hours. Great place to come back to.

While many hotels have lovely receptions and disappointing rooms this hotel is quite the reverse. An historical hotel with perfect modern bedrooms. Great beds, lovely linen, great showers and stunning sea views.

Cafe below has very generous Spanish appeal but with exceptional efficient service

Was looking forward to staying here but it far exceeded my expectations.

The Vromar hotel is situated on the beach . The views are beautiful and the hotel is very comfortable .

The breakfast is delicious , egg and bacon, toast, fresh fruits , rolls, cheeses ,hams croissants , jams, fresh orange juice, coffee and tea

The staff are all very polite and helpful.

The receptionist looked up local places of interest to check to see the opening times and answered our many questions

Would highly recommend .

Been coming here for more than 15 years and it doesn't change. Only survives because of its location which is outstanding.

Food is average, service is appalling and it it i the only place in Spain where you will queue for an hour on an August evening for an average bocadillo.

If you want good food and an equally good location, try Villa Sofia or Habanero......

True for 7 years to this Pension of an exceptional location on the beach with quality standing and comfort BUT: this year, music of the cafeteria non stop from 7:30 to 24, which does not allow to enjoy the terrace of the room, the noise of the waves and simply the tranquility in a super setting. For 155 € per night in this Pension of good standing you might hope not to be in a camping atmosphere! Our remarks at the reception had no effect. Unless you enjoy shopping mall music all day long...

Lovely hotel, fantastic location for the old town. Pool was lovely, although smaller than pictures alluded. Lovely fresh Sangria served at the pool bar. My only gripe was the constant repetitive music player. Due to the layout, you're forced to lie near a speaker in most of the sunbeds. Resorting to us all using headphones to listen to our own music. It's not great for conversation or relaxing and reading a book. Most annoying was it was the same songs on a loop. Shame as the rest of the pool experience was fantastic, always clean and able to get a lounger. Had breakfast once, it was okay but didn't tempted us back for dinner. The hotel is near Tapas alley..which offers fantastic menus of the day at lunch time. Room was clean, shower was powerful, fridge in the room but no kettle. I would go back after investing in noise cancelling headphones ! To finish on a positive staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff in the bar downstairs and roof top.
