Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for a week instead of camping at the reggae festival. We opted for one of the cheapest 2 bed apartments that we could find and it was cheaper than hiring luxury tents at the festival and so we expected something very basic and it was, but we enjoyed it. They are huge blocks, the decor and facilities are dated but it was functional and comfortable. The gardens and pool were fantastic and we spent about of time there. The beach is very close and is lovely. The balconies in the apartments have great views over the sea and mountains and we had many lovely meals sitting out there. Reading the other review, I can understand how difficult it must be if you don't speak Spanish in this very Spanish town. Don't expect anything more than a basic, functional holiday apartment in a great location.

The bedding is very good, but the lack of a mattress protector is limited in terms of hygiene between the different tenants.
Absence of basic kitchen utensils, lids, salad bowls, spatulas, coffee maker etc... apartment in its own juice, sticte but really strite minimum.

Where do I even start?
- Cockroaches in the rooms
- Not one person speaks English besides one lifeguard, thats it.
- Faulty electrics
When we arrived, the hotel/apartment is the ugliest building I've ever seen, don't judge a book by its cover though because it gets worse.
The worst part of the stay was trying to cook our own food, whenever you put something in the microwave or oven, the fuse would blow in the apartment. Usually this wouldn't be a problem but when not one single person speaks English for you to report this to someone it causes problems.
The first time this happened we had to wait two hours for this to be sorted, only being fixed when someone spanish living in the apartments spoke a hint of English and had a key to the main electrical room.
The balcony also had a table and chairs on it for people to relax to, this is fine, except one of the chairs had a massive hole burnt in it and hadn't been replaced.
This hotel shouldn't be allowed to operate, literally it was like living in one of the favelas in Brazil for the week, wouldn't ask for my worst enemy to stay here.
Absolute dive.
