Charming hotel, with everything we needed. Comfortable room, swimming pool, breakfast included and very good location for tapas and dining out. Quiet to rest, clean, very practical shower and would only lack a common TV that would have been cool to watch Euro game.

+1
We stayed for one night in the cheapest room with a private bathroom.
GOOD: Helpful and friendly staff, diverse buffet breakfast, front yard with lots of plants and characteristic tiling, quiet local atmosphere. Interior of the rooms is simple and old fashioned which is nice. All of the receptionists spoke English.
BAD: Considering the hot temperatures in Benicassim, the air-conditioner, which can not be regulated and has only an on/off switch, and works only while you're in the room, is a bad choice. The room doors could open and close with great difficulty. The bath tub is extremely small. The bar doesn't open till 5pm. Everything on the public PC is on Spanish.
OVERALL: Location is good for exploring the centre of the town, but far from the beaches and the festival area (about 15-20min walk each). The hot climate dominated our experience and staying in the room was difficult because of this, so our main impression is bad. But the hotel itself is nice and characteristic of that part of the Mediterranean. Considering it's one of the cheapest hotels in Benicassim (with a private bathroom), not bad. Ok for a one night stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Not a bad place, the hotel has its own free parking, safe deposit box next to the reception desk. In-room air-con is unregulated (when the card-key inserted - air-con switched on, remove the card - is turned off. Remote console not in the room). Also room have a balcony. WiFi present at the hotel, but our visit it didn't work, test failed. The beach is 15 minutes leisurely walk. Breakfast is basic, but nearby enough places for a more volume. Very responsive staff - always ready to help with information.

Myself and 2 friends stayed here for 4 nights during the benicassim FIB festival. It was such a nice stay. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and always had a smile. The breakfast was amazing, the pool was great and the atmosphere around the hotel was always lovely. Lots of people from the FIB festival stayed here also so it was a great way to make new friends. We would all recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you for everyone who made it a memorable stay for us.

Stayed here while the festival was on, Hiked the price up, which was expected. £850 for 4 nights for a room of 3. Expensive but FIB son so is what it is. Here is what ruins the amount you pay. The Wifi didn't reach our room, after several complaints the manger reset the router, still didn't work. used the fact that the festival uses all the internet so thats why it was slow. Asked for another room and the get some money back, was told no. Point blank. No safe or mini fridge in the room. Our view out of the window was a wall. Lacked basic things such as a bottle opener at the bar & ketchup in the canteen.
When buying beer fro the bar i was charges 1, 2 & 2.5 Euros for half a pint of beer. When asked why i got the old i don't speak english shrug. Asked him in spanish got the same shrug.
The only thing that made this hotel good is the people, if you stay here over FIB, the pool is small and everyone talks and you can have a great time during the day around the pool.
Location is great and rooms are clean. Such a shame the manager just isn't bothered. Easy quick fixes and they will no longer be a 2*. just need a better attitude from manager and owners. Such a shame

We booked a double room after Rototom and everything looks good. The swimming pool was very dirty the day we arrived, but it has been cleaned the day after; the sunbeds are very unconfortable. Breakfast os international with many kinds of food. The hotel's bar suddently opens at 19.00 and has no beer :(
WiFi works fine!

Booked late for the festival but luckily Eco had a triple room left! The rooms are basic & clean, there is a pool which is welcome relief from the heat. Only a short 20 mins walk to the festival, handy when taxis are scarce! Reception staff are helpful & friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff upon arrival. Room was excellent, new build addition to the hotel. Room was fresh, clean and well air conditioned. We also had a terrace style balcony which had a sun lounger, table and hammock. Only downside was there was no bathroom door! Prices reasonable for FIB season!

We travelled to Benicassim from Valencia by rail. We were slightly bemused when we arrived because we came out into an empty, undeveloped area and not as we expected in the centre of town! Google maps is out of date and the former station is now the police station and a new train station has been built on the outskirts. Luckily we headed in the right direction and walked straight into the street for the EcoAvenida. No more than a 10-minute walk.
The receptionist was very welcoming and efficient. Offered us a ground floor room because there is no lift and my husband is disabled, we looked at it, but it was facing the small car park so in the end we decided we'd prefer to be on the first floor and changed again! He was fine about this. The room was fine, very clean, good bathroom, AC, balcony etc. Quiet at night. The pool was clean and private. It's not a top of the range hotel, but the price reflected this and it's well situated in the centre of the old town of Benicassim, which is absolutely lovely. Breakfast was ample - bread/toast/croissants, jam/ham/cheese etc, something hot (very nice scrambled eggs), fruit.
Bus from main street (100 yards from hotel) straight to the beaches or into Castellon, which is worth a visit for the Museo des Bel Artes.
Our stay was brief (only two nights) but we'd love to visit Benicassim again and would happily stay at EcoAvenida. I think there may be other rooms without a balcony but I would recommend paying the extra to have one as these rooms are in a better position.

After a long drive we couldn't find the hotel with the sat nav,it didn't recognise the address .A phone call to the hotel asking for directions resulted in the receptionist slamming the phone down.On arrival our reception was even frostier! We asked where to park but the car park was full and we were directed with a dismissive wave to anywhere over there,in the direction of the main road. The room was dated and the bathroom tired and shabby.
Good location to the central area,as long as you can find it.
