Stay was due to festival, when booking (in the description) this site was said to be within walking distance, but the number of kilometers turned out to be much more, a bit of a shame that they had not stated this honestly.
There was a lot of noise in the hotel (in the morning) and it was very noisy, without earplugs I would not have been able to sleep there.
The sliding of the furniture on the tiles caused a lot of noise that unfortunately the cleaning ladies could not do anything about.
(Felt/cushioning under the furniture might be an idea?)

They don't seem to understand the principle of air conditioning, air conditioning was on while all doors and windows were always open.
Also, while cleaning the room, the air conditioning was always turned off, so we returned to a very hot room.

Outdated hotel, but clean rooms, large balcony, the shower was fine, no refrigerator in the rooms, but a communal refrigerator in the lobby that unfortunately contained moldy products.
This was clearly not tracked.
(A simple solution would be to have the guest's room numbers put on it and throw it away when checking out)

DO NOT have your laundry done there, they charged €55 for a small, simple wash at a cold temperature! An absolute scam and in the end we left disappointed and certainly not positive.

Very good location. Hotel is old and tired but clean and welcoming. Good value and staff were charming and efficient. This hotel is not a venue but a good place to spend a night. Bedroom was average, reasonable size and comfortable; bathroom was functional. Car parking on site and they allow pets. I would not have a problem staying here again.

Have previously stayed at the shoreline Voramar but decided against it on this occasion as it was hosting a wedding party. The Vista Allegre is along the same road, nearer town but away from the sea. Our room had a view over houses to the red rock mountains. The orange trees in the pleasant garden provided fruit and juice for meals. The hotel would not suit anyone wanting modern décor and we could only access local TV channels in our room. The hotel owners were friendly and the prices reasonable.

Nice, friendly hotel. Good value too. Clean and pleasant. A little dated but was a good value stop-off between France & our place in Almeria, Spain. Would stay again. Has parking too which was important as we had a lot of luggage in the car.

We booked this hotel for the Benicassim festival, bit far out but only 7€ in a cab & only 2mins walk to the beach-we walked a few nights & it took 30mins max. Rooms were cleaned daily & facilities were fine but there was no fridge/air con or safe but we bought ice buckets & managed fine, there is also a fan. Staff were very friendly but struggled slightly with English. Pool was big enough with a bar & plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast was adequate - continental but plenty of it & served till 10.30. Overall would recommend for short stays

Stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding and wouldn’t come back. The rooms are outdated and it’s a noisy place. We could hear the couple talking and snoring next door. Breakfast was included and was nothing special. There’s an outdoor pool and it’s 3min walking distance to the beach.

Stayed here for Benicassim festival, which is the basis for this review. If you're at the beach all day and festival at night and looking for a place to crash for a couple of hours, this is perfectly fine. Agree with all the positive reviews in terms of staff and cleanliness, but if the 'hotel experience' is integral to your stay, perhaps less so. The room has no aircon so stiflingly hot in summer. Also no fridge, hairdryer, safe, tea/coffee making facilities. No English tv channels and very noisy...and surprisingly not the festival goers. Sited on a main road you hear traffic all night and the elderly clientele sit on the terrace below chatting til the small hours most nights, which is a pain as you have to sleep with the balcony door open because of the heat. Great location for the beach and walk into Beni and def at the nicer end of the beach...more locals, fewer teenage campers. Breakfast is a basic cold buffet, but there is a decent sized pool, with a bar. Bar really should do basic sanwiches/snacks for lunch. They'd clean up on simple poolside snacks. All in all 'ok, but a thorough makeover would make this place an absolute gem.

This family run hotel is a gem and their hospitality is genuine. Though the rooms are small they are Immaculately clean. Very pleasant service, beautiful pool and patio bar. Decent shower, beds, breakfast. Within easy walking distance of the beach and downtown.

Stayed here for Benicassim festival 2014 about a 35 min walk to the festival. we got a taxi there and then walked back. taxi ques were huge...... Booked late and this was the only one left. Rooms were cleaned daily but had no air con or fridge and for the money we payed we were expecting a bit more. Breakfast was poor. Also would be good if the pool bar did food.. would defiantly get used even if it was just for when the festival was on. Overall its not a bad hotel but next time will look for a more modern hotel

Hello Ian, We have air conditioning in 24 of 68 rooms. And we only have safety deposit box in the reception, not in the rooms. Thanks for your questions. King regards. Hotel Vista Alegre.
