This place is truly a hidden gem! The accommodations are beautiful but rustic spacious glamping units with outside shower, loungers on the deck as well as a bed that you can push onto the deck to sleep under the stars. This is a must! The unique bar and pool on the mountain top is worth the climb on hot day to enjoy the view. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, special mention to Leon who served our dinner and made our delicious breakfast. The highlight of the stay was our dinner under the stars in the boma, the four course meal was outstanding, we even asked for seconds of the dessert.

Highly recommend the desert camp. Such a relaxing feeling being away from the main lodge with views out over the plains from your own veranda. Very comfortable bed, shower, and seating on the veranda so you could fully relax. Highly suggest taking the hotel’s Sossusvlei half day trip and the sundowner drive as well. You’ll get picked up from the camp. Dinner is either at the lodge or the camp - the staff will let you know so do be prepared to drive down to dinner each night.

Very beautiful lodge, we stayed in the Eco Desert Lodge which has a fantastic location with a great view of the surrounding mountains and the sunset. Everybody was very friendly, especially Rinea, who was our waitress. I can fully recommend it 100%.

We had an incredible time at the ! The staff absolutely made the visit! Daniel took us on the most amazing evening sundowner drive and then to the stand dunes at Sossusvlei - He even climbed them all with us! So knowledgeable and a credit to the hotel - Stopping to help other visitors in the park and even changing a tire for a truck on the way home. Leon in the restaurant even very kindly recommended stops in Swakopmund and booked excursions for us which was incredibly kind of him. The rooms were spotless with incredible views at night, you will never see stars anywhere else in the world. Not a issue for us - but the main restaurant is a 5 min drive away (through the park) - So if you don't have a car you will be limited to the shuttle back and fourth which could be tricky for single travellers.

Room Tip: You need a truck - the roads are bad in this area! We saw so many accidents and punctured tires....

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and there is so much wildlife in close proximity. I went for the half day tour of sossusvlei and sundowners in the evening with our guide, Ziggy, who was absolutely amazing. As a solo traveler he definitely made me feel at home. 10/10 recommend the stay and the activities.

What a location! You first check in at the main lodge then drive about 7km out to the camp location. Tents is the description but more like canvas cabins with fantastic facilities. The view over the plain is stunning with a waterhole close by to attract animals. We walked out into the plain with no problems and saw oryx, warthog, springboks and a solitary wild dog all within a couple of hours. We ate the first night in the lodge and the second night they came to use at the camp, food excellent and the staff superb. Big mention for Hendrik who was the camp manager who treated us like royalty. One we will never forget.

This camp is secluded against a hill with an unbelievable view over the desert plains, and sunsets are awe-inspiring from the pool and pool bar, which are set on top of the mountain. Fresh coffee and rusks brought to your tent with sunrise or whenever you want to get up and dinner is offered in the boma under the stars with fires and really delicious food. Excellent Camp, very much recommended!
