I can’t rate this place highly enough. The tents were very sturdy and felt like you were staying in a lodge. They were also beautifully decorated.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed by Sidney with a lovely cool drink and flannel to refresh ourselves. He couldn’t do enough for us to make us feel at home and settled. Hendricks talked us through the activity options and set them up for the next day. He is a brilliant driver and very informative.

The chef was amazing and worked his magic and produced delicious food. There was always snacks and drinks available in between if you got peckish.

This is a small unobtrusive resort in a stunning location. Spacious well thought out accommodation. The food was exceptional catering for a vegetarian with innovation and creativity. On arrival we were met with a cold towel and drink. The strap line of ‘Welcome Home’ was a bit cheesy but well intentioned. Staff were a little over attentive at times (stood over us at breakfast) but again it was well intentioned. It’s quite a long way from Sossusvlei so no chance of getting there at sun up as you would not want to drive the track down in the dark.

Beautiful camp and nice staff. We had a wonderful time. Thanks to the whole team for beeging part of our Namibia Journey. You definitely need to have a dinner in this place. Andreas is a stunning chef. The food is incredible. Also to mention Paula. She has great recommendations for the whole region.

Namibia’s appeal is it stunning unspoilt landscape with a very low population density. Tourist arrivals although growing are still small. Finding a comfortable place to stay in the Namib desert is a challenge. The DHGC offers a comfortable and reasonably convenient place to visit Sossusvlei (just over an hour away).

There is dining tent with a terrace. The building to the rear is a kitchen. Dinner is a set menu. They offer cooked breakfast and packed lunch. If you package includes local beverages this means it does not include wine (imported from South Africa) and spirits. You help yourself to drinks and fill in a slip for items consumed.

The tents have a sliding glass door and solid walls for the bathroom area. There are two comfortable single beds with plugs and USB charging ports on either side (not bad for a tent).

The tents are close together which does mean you hear other guests.

Camp is situated in an area with breathtaking views and complete solitude, staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the tents (if one can call them so) are luxurious and spacious. Highly recommended!

This glamping camp is located approximately 30 kilometers from the entrance to the Sossus Valley, close by Namibian standards. It is an excellent address. The lodges are well equipped, beautifully situated and have fantastic views, the swimming pool is not large but big enough to cool off, but what really makes it fantastic is the A-team; the three people who serve, Alena, Abby and Armando. They are incredibly friendly and always ready, give solicited and unsolicited (but never pushy) advice, are ready with a wet wipe and a fresh drink every time you drive up, really nothing to complain about. My wife eats gluten-free and the way this was handled is unprecedented; not just throwing out everything with gluten, but all dishes were adjusted, special cake was baked, snacks were arranged for drinks and so on. Top tent, definitely go if you go to the Sossus Valley.

Fantastic location! Excellent facilities in the tents. Sitting on your own terrace in the morning and enjoying the space and peace - indescribably beautiful. The sunset and starry sky are a must-see.
You rarely find such friendly and helpful staff.
A good starting point for a trip to Sossusvlei, then relaxing by the pool. The oryxes are easy to watch from here!

Tented camp with discreet tents, but I didn't like the location that much, practically wild, yes, but on a stony surface full of wind. Our tent was irrational and an overtent took away any possibility of having some air on the scorching day: we couldn't stay in the tent before sunset and we couldn't sleep at night due to how windy it was. Pleasant micropool.
Gruff welcome from the boss, Alfonso, who only appears when he tries to extract money. Luckily there are the restaurant guys and the staff in general, who with their availability and friendliness make up for all the shortcomings of this field.
