What a great find, especially after a day of driving in the heat! Wonderfully located to access sossusvlei, with an unbeatable view of the stars. A great way to feel like you're in the great outdoors without having to compromise on comfort.

As the hotel is beside the entrance of the Sossusvlei, you are there immediately when it opens, before the "rush hour". and before the midday heat. Buffets on breakfast, lunch and dinner, which are excellent. From the barbecue a lot of choice, even if the marinade seems to be the same for all the meat. From the hotel you have...

Dear LexGrizzly, Thank you for the fantastic rating and review! We are delighted to hear you enjoyed our location, the excellent buffets as well as the activities offered by our Adventure Centre. Being in such a remote location we are dependent on the telephone lines for internet which is not always stable. Looking forward to welcome you back! Best wishes,...

We arrived at the Lodge which was organised by our agent. We were greeted by a robotic member of staff in the corridor who pointed to where the facilities were and then left us to find our room on our own. On our expedition to the room we were caught up by the person who was taking our luggage and...

During our recent Namibian trip we stayed a few nights at this wonderful hotel near Sossusvlei which I can only describe as one of the best stays we have ever had! The food, service, trips to Sossusvlei and the rooms was excellent! The scenery is breathtaking at the lodge and we have many photos to remind us of this wonderful...

What an amazing oasis. Just being in the sand dune sea in Namibia is a bucket list item, but staying at an incredible place like this makes it even better. You get the luxury amenities of a great hotel, the tastes, smells and visuals of being in the desert and the proximity to the dunes. The food is typically African...lots...

The hotel is located in a great place close to the Red Dunes. The whole set up is good but it has been allowed to fall into poor practices and poor facilities. The staff are nice enough but the management appear keen to push the maximum number of through the doors. We were charged a premium rate but the hotel...

We spend two nights at the Sossusvlei Lodge, which lies right next to the entry to the dunes. Being a bit worried about it being partially a "tent", I was very surprised to see that this gave it its own charm. The rooms are pretty basic but spacious and each one has its own little terrace. The food in the...

Beautiful hotel with roomy tent bungalows. Air conditioning had a hard time too keep the room somewhat cold during the day. We experienced 45C outdoors, wi Hitch wasn't all too bad due to dry air. Food mediocre, as in most places in Namibia. I'm sorry. Internet only in bar and reception, slow but steady! Happily uploaded vacation pictures!

This lodge is perfectly located close to the sand dunes. And the dunes are absolutely fantastic. We walked up the big daddy and enjoyed the view of endless desert from there. The hotel is too big for my taste and I like smaller lodges much more. The rooms are nice and functional. The staff was okay okay friendly, sometimes a...
