The Sossusvlei Lodge was our first lodge in Namibia after the first night in Windhoek. We arrived in our own car. Lucky us, we got assigned the brand new "tent" 111, together with 112 the newest solid huts. This was definitely an upgrade to the older "tents", and the huts are located at the very edge of the area. The...

Even it it is a very big camp it is very quiet and all bungalows have a wonderful view. There is a waterhole, where you can watch animals. Meals as a buffet are very luxury, staff is nice. If it is cold you need to book a table inside early otherwise you will sit outside and that may be very...

Came back after 18 years. Maybe not quite as fresh as when it was new, certain small details in rooms or interior could recieve more attention, but still darn good. Location is hard to beat, food is fab! Suggestion: Translate "no smoking" to Italian and Chinese! Italian I think would be "e vietato fumare". That really bothered us, and the...

From the air it appears as random building in the middle of nowhere but at the front door it is spectacular. We fly in with Jangwa Adventures, which was an excellent flight. We were greeted by Luzarn from the lodge and took the short 2km drive to the lodge. What awaited was an oasis. Check in was easy. Pool, bar...

One feels very comfortable in the private little huts half in stone and half like a luxury tent. So you feel like on a safari, when you wake up and open the wind shields and see the vast savanna. In the early morning the oryx is eating the green next to the pool. From a high watch tower you have...

The Sossusvlei Lodge is just outside the park gates. It is a very clean and inviting accommodation. We have stayed at the Sossusvlei Dune Lodge, and this is no less classy. Each of the cottages are well appointed
