The most amazing place with the friendliest / nicest staff ever!! 5* service from everyone. This is such a hidden little gem in the desert. The rooms are modern, such a good size and very clean!! The pool and private balcony is just perfect. The sunset/sunrise drive is sooo worth doing. Finally, the little drink stop on the way with the pink fridge was such a nice touch. Good relaxing break! Friendly, welcoming staff. Perfect place to stay! Everything about this lodge was great: beautiful room, tasty breakfast and a perfect location! Only disappointment was that the e-bikes was not available to use and we looked forward to that because only activity to do.

The four of us (2 adults and 2 kids - age 15 and 11) stayed at the Desert Grace on 24 May. We had a wonderful time! The rooms are fabulous and pink accents and details in the rooms make for a unique experience! This definitely not your "standard" safari accommodation (like most places in Namibia), where porcupine quilts, leopard-print blankets and guinea fowl feathers dominate the décor!

Amazing place tucked away in the Namib Desert. The rooms are fantastic with amazing attention to detail and art! The best thing, though, was the staff. The friendliest/nicest people ever! I am a proud Namibian (they didn’t know that) and it was so amazing seeing how all the other tourists around felt the same. Very proud moment! Do yourself a favour, stay a night or two and then go on to the rest of the Gondwana spots in the country. They do it well!!

Very neat, well kept facility. Pleasant attentive reception with forthcoming friendly staff. First impression exceptional and welcoming. The rooms are laid out generously and spacious. Simply inviting with a 'feel-good' atmosphere. The surrounds are a bit barren, whereas the bungalows have beautiful private views on the desert landscape with dunes in the background. A magnificent destination for young-at-heart-couples and travelers seeking privacy. Restaurant, meals and services excellent.

Although our welcome was below par, the room is outstanding! The private plunge pool overlooking the Namib desert dunes is great and particularly welcome on a hot day The staff was generally new at the lodge and this showed in some lack of attention to detail The 10km dedicated road access was in poor condition The food was generally good with some exceptions Great to have plug points for overland fridges under the solar roof cover

An excellent lodge with excellent cuisine. The way from the main road to the hotel is a bit bumpy (and long!) but the pink fridge makes an excellent (photo) stop. The only complaint: the room was rather hot upon our arrival despite the A/C. There is a 6ft high wall separating the entrance area from the bedroom area (facing the north and collecting lots of sun and heat). We directed the cold air from the A/C horizontally over that wall towards the bedroom area and let the ceiling fan blow it down on the beds. This nerdy trick provided a comfortable temperature throughout the room - after a few hours. So please, staff, do the same thing in advance if you expect new guests.

The hotel is extremely well panned and beautifully decorated. The food and service was outstanding. Beautiful walks and an unexpected owl in the courtyard was the cherry on top. In a country of sometimes harsh landscapes, this hotel was a breath of fresh air.
