The Sandcastle B&B is situated in Melkbosstrand, a town on the Atlantic coast and border with the West Coast. Our establishment, close to the beach, shops and restaurants, offers beach views and the private deck upstairs has views of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The upstairs lounge also offers a place for private time, watching tv, reading, playing board games and panoramic views.

Our hosts went out of their way to provide a uniquely South African experience to my friends who were visiting from Australia and America. We visited over the Christmas break where most things are closed. Rudolf personally called and drove us to estates which allowed my friends to savour fine South African wine. I would advise all to definitely consider this pearl.

This venue was excellant and the location really nice. Close to a beach I could walk safely on The room was very comfortable with a small balcony looking to the sea. The lounge chairs in the rooms were a nice touch.

The stay was excellent.. We had a very friendly welcome by Dirk. He gave us a tour of the place and than took us to the room we were booked in. The place exceeded our expectations. He offered to help us with our bags and told us about the area if we needed anything where we will find the stores. The place instantly felt home for the stay we had. We had a sea view from the room we slept in. We left the sliding door open and woke up to the sound and smell of fresh air and the waves. The place was clean and tidy we wished we booked more than one stay but unfortunately, they were fully booked, and I can see why. The pool water was clean and the water amazing. We had a delicious breakfast that was prepared for us wow the food was exceptional and super filling. The variety of foods that we had was super. This place was the best stay we had as a couple thus far. We will be seeing the Sandcastle B&B more often and my family and friends will also be going to the B&B, because the place is really amazing. The stay did us so good we rested well and went home feeling refreshed and brand new. Thank You for having us.

A special 'peace' of heaven. Warmly welcomed by Dirk. The house is beautifully decorated. The colors make one feel calm and safe. You forget the crazy world. The rooms are well equipped and the bathrooms only have the best care products for you to pamper yourself. The pool is well kept and so inviting. Now I have saved the best for last, the breakfasts! 'To die for doll'!!! Which means they were outstanding. Tasty, cooked perfectly. Abundance of food! Coffee snobs won't be sorry either! Good coffee. Had a lovely stay at Sandcastle B&B. Many thanks to Dirk who went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable. The rooms have everything you could possibly need and the food is delicious. I can really recommend Sandcastle, with it's warm welcoming atmosphere it really is worth a visit.

We had the most comfortable stay as we booked the entire BnB with a group of friends and our kids. Dirk is such an amazing host always attending to our needs at any given time. It’s located in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood, also a stone throw away from the beach! All the staff was very friendly and kind.

Sandcastle is perfectly located, close to the beach and walking distance from restaurants. Room was neat and lovely pool and seating to admire the sea. We experienced very good service. Thank you for a wonderful getaway.

Had a pleasant, albeit it short stay at Sandcastle. Service was good and we appreciated the host's friendly involvement. Small, but good breakfast. The establishment is in need of some general maintenance, but Dirk mentioned that it will be done in the immediate future. Would have appreciated secure parking.
