We had a fantastic holiday from start to finish at Aeolos beach resort. The hotel was in a beautiful setting on the hillside next to the sea. We had a family room at the top of the resort near the lagoon pool and pool bar. This meant it was easy for us to get drinks when we were back at our room. It also had a play park near by. It had incredible views and was spacious with a huge balcony and connecting rooms which were very spacious. The rooms and hotel was spotlessly clean. The hotel has a golf buggy service which was a bonus for getting back up the hill in the evenings with our toddler!
All staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment team were fab with my toddler- a special shout out to Jacob who my toddler absolutely adored. She loved the mini disco each evening and my 11 year old enjoyed the water volleyball and aqua dance/ aerobics! The entertainment each evening was great and a good variety all tastefully done. We loved the beach party evening and karaoke night.
The food was incredible and a good selection. We loved the beach restaurant, it was such a tranquil setting.
The only negative was that the sun loungers at the lagoon pool were full of towels by 7.30 am and some not sat on all day which was frustrating, especially with a toddlerrequiring shade. It would be good for the staff to remove these to stop unnecessary hogging and enforce their rule of not putting towels down. We did however get space without issue at the main pool. More ramps/buggy access would also be useful especially by the beach restaurant and to get down to the beach as I struggled lifting my pram up and down the steps, especially if she was napping. A baby sitting service or creche for toddler age would also have made it even better!
We had a fantastic time, thank you Aeolos beach, we will definitely be back!

This all inclusive resort is a great place for a relaxing holiday, under the current COVID restrictions the hotel staff done there best to give you a pleasurable stay, we had an issue with our room when we arrived, they put us in a family sea view room, and we asked for a superior sea view, they moved us the following morning as we arrived late at night. The room layout and decor do vary slightly from the pictures on the website, some bathrooms are not the modern style but very comfortable and most with great views of the sea. Towels and bedding changed every other day but if you want fresh towels they will replace.
The main restaurant is a buffet style and to be honest the food is not a la carte, but what you expect from a buffet style. Lots of choice but very similar each day, The Ionion restaurant is very nice with a great view of pool and sea, good selection from set menu and tasty, Pavlos was very professional and very accommodating. We had the romantic dinner on the jetty, if you like the fine dining feel then you will love this experience, food was great and lots of it, and the experience was well worth the money, the chef MR Babis food was of excellent standard and presentation. Vangelis the waiter was so professional and very attentive.
We got the bus into Corfu old town one day, which goes from just outside the hotel entrance, we got a taxi back which costs €25.
There is also a Greek taverna next to the private beach of hotel, great food, and traditional Greek style overlooking the sea.
We did find that around the resort as it’s built on the hillside, that litter was a small problem amongst the trees and plants and the bins along paths were not emptied regular.
You have a choice of bars to go to at night, the best one is the main lobby bar and if you can get a seat outside, stunning views of the sea. Found some of the bar staff a little grumpy in this bar, but I suppose you can understand in this current time having to wear masks all the time.
Customers have to wear masks whilst walking in all internal buildings including main restaurant when you are queuing to get food or drinks from bar, but whilst seated no masks have to be worn, plenty of hand sanitizer stations around hotel.
Plenty of pool towels and can change as many times as you want.
Drinks are not bad, again it’s all inclusive so dont expect your branded drinks but all ok, we did buy a few bottles when at Ionion and the private dining, the Black sheep was a resfreshing bottle at €22.50.
Lastly I want to thank Mary the concierge, before we arrived I was emailing asking various questions and she was very helpful and knowledgeable, also whilst there she was very friendly and professional and sorted out the small issues I had.
Because we traveled whilst COVID restrictions are in place, I can say that once this is all over the Resort and staff and amenities would be 4 star, there was a lot of activities, amenities and some eating areas that were not open due to restrictions.
Would recommend to couples, singles, and family’s.

Dear KevinB530, it is with enthusiasm that we have read your letter put on Tripadvisor. Sharing your memories and your comments with all the readers. Babis, the chef of the Eros private dinner is gratefull for your kind words. As for Vanghelis, your appreciation has given him more energy to continue. Hospitality is very important for greek people; assist our visitors and make them feel like "home" is our goal. I personally would like to thank you for having spent your holidays at Aeolos Beach for this season and would hope to see you again in a more favorable summer.

This hotel could be perfect with some small adjustments.
Starting with the good - The staff are all amazing, they have clearly had to work extra hard because of all the restrictions and they were all really helpful. The ladies on reception especially were always really helpful and attentive, didn’t catch all of their names but Mary and Barbara in particular were great. The beach was ideal, beds are free and the bar and lunch time restaurant are all conveniently located. The public areas of the hotel were very clean, all the staff wore masks and there was hand sanitiser available everywhere. Golf buggy type vehicles were available to transport you round as the hotel is hilly. The selection of drinks available was great.

The negatives which if improved would make this hotel amazing - there is a real wasp problem, we found sitting at the pool miserable because they would swarm everywhere. The rooms were not being cleaned frequently which is understandable due to restrictions but the floor wasn’t cleaned during our stay meaning by the 7th day our floor was covered in sand. On 2 occasions the bed was changed and both times the sheets were stained, reception sorted this but wasn’t ideal. The main restaurants food wasn’t brilliant, the choice was repetitive and the quality could be improved. The only evening meal we enjoyed was the Greek theme, the rest wasn’t great. The lunch restaurant at the beach was much better however. We paid for a ‘bungalow’ but we just got a hotel room so was confused about this and the pictures online were nothing like the room we stayed in so can only presume some have been renovated and we were in a room that hadn’t been.

A few general points - the hotel is on a bus route into Corfu town and the bus is cheap so that’s ideal. We ate in the nearby town of Benitses and would recommend this also, a taxi was €10 each way. The supermarket at the bottom of the hill is good for souvenirs and for snacks/drinks. Having a sea view is great in the morning as the view of the sun rise is lovely!

Overall the stay was good and the staff were great but I think some improvements are necessary to make this the 4 stars that it is.

We stayed at Aeolos Beach on a Jet2 package. This was a last-minute booking having had holidays to Spain and the Canaries cancelled. It wasn’t our first choice of destination, therefore, but we have no regrets about it.
As always, Jet2 gave us excellent service. The outward journey was good apart from problems caused on the plane by three drunken passengers. Throughout the flight they were drinking spirits from a bottle in a flight bag, eventually vomiting on the floor. The stewardesses seemed aware of the problem but were avoiding confrontation. This was quite distasteful especially for passengers with young children. Please watch this Jet2!
Our transfer from Corfu airport was very efficient, taking only twenty minutes. The return transfer was equally efficient but was far too early, arriving 3 ½ hours before departure.
On arrival at Aeolos we were pleased with our rooms, being clean, smartly furnished and with a spacious, modern bathroom. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We did have to ask for our rooms to be cleaned and towels changed on a daily basis. Their excuse for not doing this as standard was avoiding contact because of Covid-19 but we thought hygiene was much more important, particularly under the present circumstances.
The hotel site is beautifully landscaped and the views from the rooms, pools and restaurant are stunning. We particularly liked the Lagoon infinity pool. We took towels to the sunbeds at 5.30 a.m. and weren’t the first there. The pool bar was very handy and the barman very efficient. We thanked him duly, as we did the pool attendant who kept the area clean and tidy. Our ten and six year-old children loved the pool so much and being competent swimmers didn’t have a problem with the 1.4 metre depth. The pool by the main building is more suitable for younger families and has entertainment and activities throughout the day. The DJs are very active and friendly.
We did complain about the food at the evening buffet. The head waiter tried to be helpful but we suspect that they were limited by the budget set by management.
We found the whole place relaxing and pleasantly laid back.
Would we go back? Yes, we would!
We loved the Greek people. So, thank you Aeolos.

As soon as we arrived off the bus there was a gent that informed us there were buggies on their way to take us up & within a couple of minutes they arrived and our luggage was loaded and we were taken upto the reception.
Check in was quick and simple, we had lunch and came back around 2.45PM to get our key once our room was ready.

We stayed in one of the Deluxe double room in Main Building with sea view..and WOW we were absolutely speechless when we were taken to our room, the view hit us as soon as we walked through the door (apparently room 39 is the best room in the hotel maybe request this if you want a spacious room, quiet & with an amazing view)
The room itself was large, had all you needed & the bathroom was very luxurious with complimentary slippers and bathrobes too. (I think you just get these in the deluxe double at the Main Building)

There are some reviews saying negative things about the reception staff however we found all the staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly at all times.

The only reason I would put this resort as average is down to

1.The food - depending how early you went for lunch or dinner certain things would be cold & also from one day to another the variation of foods didn't really differ much however the Desserts were lovely and the night we booked for Dinner at the Ionian restaurant was beautiful!

2. The beach, we went to the beach on the 1st full day and we struggled to find a bed at 9am, the sunbeds on the beach or a much lower quality than those in the hotel and are very uncomfortable, the queue for drinks and food at the beach also were always quite long, due to this weķ spent the rest of our holiday by the main pool where there weren't queues for drinks, plenty comfy sunbeds and also snack bar for Fries, ice cream & popcorn which was a fab as you dont always fancy the buffet restaurant at lunchtime.

You can get pool towels from all of the bars apart from the main one and can change them everyday if you wish for new ones, no deposit needed which was fab.

The only other negative thing we would say is that the hotel was very understaffed and in no way is this their fault I felt sorry for how hard they were working in relation to how many staff to guests there were, obviously this down to management and not the staff.

We went to Benitses the little town about 4 mins away 2 nights and there are little tavernas/restaurants there which were lovely & there was a little crepe cafe type place at the very end of them all which we went to. The bus was only €1.50 each per way and we bought tickets from the hotel gift shop, we did the same another night to corfu town and the price was the same.
On the final night there were thunderstorms so we got a taxi from reception its a set fare of €10 each way yo Benitses.

If the food was improved & beach sunbeds improved i would 100% go back to this particular hotel.

The room we had, the staff, the pool, the view & the very hot weather we struck lucky with is what made the holiday, we had an amazing time.

Lovely hotel, beautiful views, great staff throughout. Download the app before arrival so you can book your meal times. The Ionian restaurant is great for breakfast, the staff there are excellent and it is more relaxed than the main restaurant. You can go there every day for breakfast. At lunch the beach restaurant is best, you do not need to book, they serve fresh pizza, and pasta dishes, as all the reviews say, the guys doing the cooking are fantastic, always happy even when they are rushed off their feet. However the main restaurant is not a fun place, queues and the food is always luke warm, even when you are first in. This should not happen, and the way it is served shows it is probably like this normally. The food itself is average at best, i personally gave up on it by the third night. At night a lot of guests got taxis to Benitses, 3 km away or Corfu town, 9km away. The rooms in the main building are nice, balcony views of sea, decent bathroom, safe, TV with several English channels and good wifi which is included. You can have room cleaned every other day or each day if you choose . The cleaners are really lovely, helpful and do a great job. Corfu town is definitely worth visiting, really pretty, bit like Dubrovnik the alleys in the old town and with good restaurants. Cost of a main course usually 12 euros. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel, schedule in hotel, about each hour. Takes about 20 minutes, you simply stay on until the last stop then walk in a straight line, to the old town and the Venetian fortress, which costs 6 euros and is amazing. Buy the tickets in the hotel shop for 1.6 euro one way, instead of 2.3 euros on the bus. To avoid stress , the main hotel pool always had sun beds at all times, and you get towels at the bar, no deposit needed.

I would visit again, and the only reason i give 4 stars and not 5, is the food in the main restaurant, which after a few days is not worth the aggro of waiting for. Everything else is great, location, staff, facilities, drinks throughout day are good. I hope the hotel improves the food as all inclusive should have better food. I hope the hotel does well in the future and wish the wonderful staff all the best. If you are looking for a last minute trip i would recommend, hotel is covid safe, people do comply with rules and if you eat at the beach for lunch and the Ionian restaurant for breakfast you won't starve.

I had a wonderful stay at the Aeolos Beach Resort! It was a steep hill to get to the bungalow rooms or reception, so be prepared to either walk that or you can wait for a golf buggy which runs 24/7.
We found the infinity pool too cold to swim in, but the adult pool was lovely and had water polo in the afternoon, bar, ice cream, candy floss and snacks.
It is just under a 5min walk to the beach, there’s stairs and a tunnel that connects the hotel to the private beach area, the water is crystal clear to swim in and has lots of fish. There are lots of rocks at the shore, but then just sand after about 1-2metres. There’s a creperie at the beach which is open from 12-5pm, Illiana was especially brilliant at making them.
There is a pizza/pasta bar at the beach too, we had fantastic service repeatedly by Georgia and the chefs who helped cater to our large group and dietary requirements.
The buffet had a wide variety and a good amount of vegetarian options, but we would have liked to see more fish on the menu. We really appreciated the enforced masks and free disposable gloves to ensure no touching around the food areas. The desserts and fruits were fantastic.
They offer a free a la carte dinner at the 2 other restaurants, however the menu options were limited for my family who only eat halal/pescatarian, so it was better to eat in the main restaurant.
We had Mary at the concierge table who was very helpful at aiding us to plan our trips into town, and ways to save money such as buying the bus tickets at the hotel (€1.60) vs on the bus (€2.30) per single trip, as well as assisting us to book our covid tests (€20 from CorfuMedicare in the town centre, a 3min walk away from the last stop on the bus, the bus stop is exactly outside the hotel). We had a triple room which was spacious and bright.
Finally checkout was as easy as passing the room keys over to the receptionist Barbara, who also helped us with planning shopping, and late checkout - she really made us feel at ease on our last day without the need to rush.

y partner and I stayed for a week for a long overdue break. As a caveat, this is the first time we have visited Corfu. We have stayed in many hotels previously and would go as far as saying this was better than many 5* resorts we have visited.

Room: We paid slightly extra for a sea view room and could not recommend this enough. We were located in the main building, which was ideal for us and came in useful during the storm, where we happily spent a lot of time in our room keeping dry and being able to pop down to the lobby for drinks.

Food: Please ignore any reviews stating the food is poor. This is absolutely NOT the case. I can only imagine these reviews are left by individuals unwilling to try the local cuisine and instead opting for chips and spaghetti every evening. We were both apprehensive but needn’t be. Every meal was fresh, varied and delicious. The evening buffet was never repetitive and was replenished so quickly you could always get what you wanted.

Cannot recommend the Àl a carte restaurants enough. We booked these easily through the app. Our favourite was the beach restaurant where we had one of the best meals of our lives (we are both huge foodies and live in central London, so we have a lot to compare to!)

Covid: In terms of Covid measures, this was much better maintained than any location in the UK. The food systems worked well with gloves and frequent changing of utensils. Our room was cleaned daily if requested to a high standard. All staff were very proactive with cleaning tables before you were sat down, the same when ordering drinks at the bar.

Pools/sea: Note that both pools are fresh water, so chilly at this time of the year but this didn’t phase us. The sea was slightly warmer and a total delight on a hot day.

Entertainment: there was plenty to do during the day, dependent on what you fancy. We were there to totally chill so didn’t take part in any day activity but we were never pressured to, the entertainment team politely asked if we wanted to join and swiftly left when we declined (although watching the water polo was entertaining!). We only saw one iteration of the evening entertainment which was fun and had everyone dancing. Most other nights we enjoyed drinks on the lobby terrace instead.

Staff: All the staff we encountered were great, everyone was attentive and accommodating and happy to serve you. These individuals work very long, tiring hours without fault, we were shocked and amazed that the individuals who sat us down for breakfast were there again at dinner, and serving drinks even later at the bar! A little kindness goes a long way, we enjoyed chatting to the bar/restaurant staff and learning more about Corfu.

Just returned home from a wonderful week at this hotel. I fail to understand any of the negative reviews as standards were high and they are doing a great job in very difficult circumstances The hotel is clean, including the pools and there is sanitiser in common areas for guests to keep their hands clean. There are signs up reminding guests about masks and staff did politely ask those, who seem to think they are special and exempt, to comply. Everything is well organised with staff working incredibly hard to give guests the best possible experience. Hats off to the entertainment team who their boundless energy. Ok one of the bartenders in the main bar is a bit grumpy but he’s the exception and who cares so long as he does the job. The pizza and pasta from the beach bar is exceptional and the buffet always had something tasty on offer. Of course they have to stagger sittings (easily booked via the app) and the choice is not as great as it would normally be but guests have to be realistic about what is possible with social distancing rules and Covid safety measures. The Ionian Restaurant was a nice change and again the team worked hard to make it a more special evening. Drinks are plentiful with a good selection of cocktails included in the all inclusive package. They are also very happy to give you a few rounds of drinks before the all inclusive time ends at midnight. The Hotel was also very helpful in giving us a late check out so we could enjoy our last day. I would definitely stay here again and I imagine it will be exceptional in normal circumstances.

We have recently returned from this hotel having booked at the last minute and was one of the few areas that we could go to under the current restrictions . Hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport and transfer was quick and painless . I had paid for an superior room with a sea view and not entirely sure that it was worth it , as we had a limited view in block 6 . The room was extremely dark and could benefit in the words of Peter Kay with a "big light " . Room was spacious enough but the bed was a little uncomfortable . TV has a few English channels and a free safe , we had a few issues with safe and air conditioning and they were dealt with efficiently and quickly . Bathroom was a good size as well
As most people have commented it is extremely hilly and you will have to climb some sort of hill to get to another part of the hotel or beach. There are golf buggies that will help transport people about and can accommodate up to 6 people
The food in the main restaurant is pretty poor , lacking in choice or seasoning . we only tried to eat there twice in the Evening and opted to eat out the remainder. Breakfast is fairly standard and serves cooked items , but no toast ! We eat in the Ionianian restaurant a couple of times and the standard of the fixed menu ( and wine ) is much better, you can also eat there for breakfast which is mainly continental (including toast ) but be prepared to be hounded by wasps . The beach is a lot smaller than the pictures highlight and a bit rocky until you get into the sea , the 2 jetties get pretty full with sun worshippers early in the morning . You can get fresh pasta and pizza there also , but chose your time carefully as there can be long queues ,
There is a main family pool which is not too busy and a further snack bar serving chips and ices creams . At the top of the hotel is the lagoon bar / pool which is much quieter if you can face the walk and pretty tranquil and amazing views , the bar also serves sandwiches and there are a lot of cats / kittens up there , we counted at least 9 kittens and it was felt like we were in a cat's café at times , but a welcome distraction .
Entertainment was pretty limited whilst we were there , 2 quiz's . 2 Bingos , 2 film nights and a live band , at this time of the year it would seem sensible to move these indoors as it can get a little chilly at this time of the year in the evening . Didn't see a lot of the animation team .
The hotel is pretty remote , but it easy and cheap to get a bus into Corfu town or Benitas in the other direction the last bus leaving at 11.00 ish
The hotel has done its best to deal with Covid 19 and there are hand sanitisers everywhere and all staff wear safe masks , guests are expected to wear masks when walking about indoors an d queuing for food/ drink and in the main this is adhered to
In all we enjoyed our break , in the main the staff are cheerful and helpful under current circumstances apart from a couple in the lobby bar , the weather could have been better but that's not the fault of the hotel , we were just glad to get away and relax .

Hi, when are you going there? I've not got an answer to your question but my son will be dying to play footy too!

Not much around the hotel, but no.6 bus takes you anywhere to explore. If you join in with the entertainment team, you won't need to go anywhere else. Just back from 10 night stay and enjoyed every minute, highly recommend 👍

Hi - main hotel is next to main restaurant and pool- also near to beach , bungalows could be next to quiet pool or beach but are well spread out . We had a sea view bungalow which was down hill from main hotel- was a canny walk back up and the quiet pool was also quite a walk . Bungalows are quieter - hope that helps
