Detailed Reviews
Pros: The communal areas were clean, the staff welcoming, the pool was nice, the room was clean with a good TV service and good warm water shower; and an excellent view from the balcony.
Cons: The upper bunk for the bunk bed was far too high (or youngest slept in our bed), the WiFi was abysmal (but we were pre-warned), the table football was rusty and dangerous, cats wandering in the restaurant isn't hygienic. They had music blaring out by the poolside, which wasn't a problem in itself, but when there was rap music I didn't want to hear f* this and n* that particularly as I had children, I did ask them to change it, which they did but the same music was on the next day.
Averages: The food was OK but nothing to shout from the rooftops about and a little overpriced (we ate out for two of the four nights); breakfast was basic, however it wasn't a problem asking for a bit more.
Note in the Los Organos area on the whole prices seem to be higher than they would be compared to the rest of Peru.

My partner and I were the only guests at the resort for the two nights we were there. It was nice having the whole place to ourselves, though the weather wasn't that great. Days of 23 degrees (Celsius) but with strong winds which made it fairly cold. The beach itself was ok, but the tide left a brown/yellow kind of foamy sludge on the beach and, as appears to be normal in Peru, there was excessive rubbish strewed along the beach and surrounds. We saw two dead sea birds in as many metres, maybe killed from ingesting plastic?
Facilities at this resort were quite nice. The pool is modern and attractive (but wasn't clean), there are hammocks, beach umbrellas, a games room, and a concrete fire pit. We stayed in a bungalow facing the beach with a sliding door directly opening to the pool. The restaurant is also modern, however the food served was mediocre and overpriced. Perhaps they put less effort in because it was just the two of us at the resort or because there are no other restaurant options nearby, but that should not be the mentality of a business operator who is trying to draw in clients.
Fish or chicken (very dry and bland) with rice was 35 soles, and this was the average price for the limited range of dishes. Ceviche was 50 soles. All the things we tried just weren't up to scratch in taste or value for money.
On top of the poor food, the resort has a number of live-in animals. We counted 5 cats and 2 dogs. The cats feel comfortable enough to come into the restaurant and beg for food right at your table, and even attempt to jump up - with no intervention by restaurant staff. At one point I saw two cats walk through the restaurant to the kitchen. I asked the guy if it was acceptable behaviour to let cats into the restaurant and he said no, but would they have shooed them out if I hadn't said anything? My guess is no, given the previous begging cat incident. We also had a cat following us around and trying to get into our room at night.
Overall, might be better in summer but there are other options. Unfortunately though you can't do anything about pollution in this country.

Pros: the linen was nice, the pool was cool, clean and enjoyable, the wait staff were A+, dinner and lunch were good, beach area was fantastic not crowded at all, tv service was great, the room maintenance was fast.
Cons: wifi was terrible, they said only worked in the common areas but it didn't work at all anywhere, they need ceiling fans, check in is way too late (3pm), breakfast was mediocre.. need to improve that, they said bar was open since 12pm but one day they decided to close at 4.. don't know why.

Excellent service, kindness and good vibes. The place is somewhat distant but it is better if what you are looking for is to enjoy exclusivity. I went with my husband and my 5 year old daughter. The 3 of us enjoy every day.
We started by arriving much earlier due to a problem at the airport and the administrator kindly offered us breakfast and early check-in, then all the staff were equally friendly.
Their American breakfast comes with yogurt, cereal and they always give something additional like pancakes, patacones or lomo-style potatoes.
The pool is in tiers, suitable for adults and children.
Its beautiful facilities.
The only thing they would lack is variety in their main dishes and that they have the entire menu available. Afterwards, we left very satisfied and willing to return.
