The tents were great, they had everything that you could ask for. We enjoyed our time at Aranwa. The staff is incredibly helpful. My mother is 84 and they went out of their way to help her and make sure that she was comfortable.

This is a wonderful place to relax for families and in couple, we used the big bungalow for 7 and a bungalow for 2 both were clean, comfortable, and very nice and peaceful. People at the resort are very nice and always ready to help. Restaurant has many choices and all are good, it could be a bit expensive but is very good and portions are good.

The beach in July is nice but the hotel is extremely over priced and does not match website listed accommodations or pictures. I think the pricing especially took away from the experience of enjoying our time there. There’s an imbalance between a really a run down hotel and the cost. Would highly recommend hotel is more forthcoming and honest so guests can make a more informed decision. For example no pool available, hotel half closed, plague of crickets season, no weekly games/movies available. Would also recommend trip advisor visit this location.

Great location and excelent service. Breakfast is included and has many options, good food at the restaurant and the service is outstanding.
Bungalows and tents are beautiful and all have ocean view.
Very clean and neat.
Complimentary fruit is brought to you at sunset. Got an amazing massage at the spa.
Would highly recommend for couples and families. It's quiet and cozy.
I've been to over 5 hotels in Mancora and this is the best one so far.

Thank you! It was indeed a fantastic experience at Vichayito Bungalows and Tents. The combination of the beautiful location, excellent service, and well-appointed amenities truly made our stay memorable. The inclusive breakfast with a variety of options was a nice perk, and the quality of food at the restaurant surpassed our expectations. Waking up to the breathtaking ocean view from our bungalow was a highlight, and the cleanliness and organization of the accommodations added to our overall comfort. The complimentary fruit at sunset added a special touch to our evenings, and the massage at the spa was incredibly relaxing. I'm happy to recommend this resort to other couples and families seeking a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

It is obvious that the administration is not interested in the comments made at this site although they seem to have replied to posts in the same boring manner.

Why to have totally incapable staff working constantly for three shifts per day, at the restaurant/bar and probably inadequate number of cooks at the kitchen?
There is no point of having something to eat after at least one hour of ordering and having your drink approximately with a similar delay?
Additionally during the breakfast buffet there were many flies around the food!
Unfortunate not to find wifi connection, and only one pc with internet that was constantly busy.
All the positive remarks mentioned before by other visitors are true, and no doubt it is a magnificent place with excellent facilities, even the taste of the food is gourmet but such a bad service ruins the whole picture!
Please reorganize your staff, train them better and do not force them to work from 7 am to 11pm! if needed hire more and even professionals to do the job.

This is a beautiful resort, with great amenities, food and service. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area, and our mototaxi rides into Mancora were an adventure. They have a beautiful sandy beach where I walked early in the mornings and completed one of my bucket list items ~ rode a horse through the ocean waves !! Their Americanized breakfast was something to behold, and the fried plantains were wonderful!

We picked Vichayito because we saw the bungalows on stilts in the photos and wanted to stay in one of those overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately for us our travel agent booked us in one of the bungalows de cana. There is a big difference between the two types of rooms and to make things worse the bungalow that we were assigned was in the back of the property situated next to the reception area and the maintenance shed where they parked the golf carts and stored extra supplies. I think the number of the room number C1. While the other Bungalows de Cana were in fine locations we would have been happy in one of those this particular bungalow I would not recommend and frankly I am surprised that the hotel would even consider this room appropriate to give to guests. The inside of the room was fine but the location is horrible especially if you are expecting a beach vacation. We asked if we could be moved and the hotel staff was very accommodating and very friendly in allowing us to move rooms for our stay.

First they places us in a family suite, on the stilts, this was a fantastic bungalow that included 6 beds with a main bedroom with a King Size bed, then another separate room with a queen size bed and two single beds. There was also a loft with 2 single beds. The bungalow also had two bathrooms and a dining area with tv. The best part of the bungalow was a large porch around the outside with a covered section that had a table and chairs. I feel that when at the beach as a family you need space to dry out towels and bathing suites and other gear that having room to do so is very important. The unit also included its own outside shower to rinse off the sand which is also important.

The second unit they placed us in was a queen tent with no air conditioning. The tent was OK for probably a family of 4 but we are five and it was a little tight. We knew this so we were fine with the room. We only had to stay in this room for one night so it was fine but I would not try to attempt this for more than one night.

In general the hotel was nice and the staff were very friendly. The beach was great and they had plenty of beach chair plus little huts on the beach that we used. There was a bar on the beach which was great but they would never come out to actually ask you if you wanted anything which was just odd. The breakfast was included but nothing special but did include fruit, coffee, breads, cereal, eggs, pancakes, and other sweets. The food for lunch and diner was average and so we went into Mancora or down the road for diner. There is a great pizza place just two minutes up the road. There is also a little store just three minutes up the road which you can buy water and other snacks. One things that puzzled me while we were there one is why all the rooms did not have air conditioning. We were there in the summer and it was blazing hot so I would try to get a room with air conditioning especially during the summer.

Overall I think we would go back but we would make sure we get family suite plus we would rent a car again so we could get out for diner and seeing other things.
