We had 2 nights on board Musafa and 1 night at the lodge. Delicious food, luxury bed linen, fabulous pillows and excellent customer service. One of our party had a special birthday whilst we were there. Howard, Michelle and the team went the extra mile to make it a truly memorable experience. Thank you. We will come back to Danforth.

Having visited Lake Malawi before and knowing how highly rated Danforth yachting is amongst guests I had high expectations but these were exceeded. The experience we had sailing for 3 days with Howard's brilliant team on Mufasa was magical. It was then topped by Michelle and the team providing an amazing celebration breakfast for my special birthday. Go - you...

We spent a week in April 2015 and from the very warm welcome with cocktails in the pool to the sunset cruise on the catamaran Mufasa, we were pampered and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was amazing - beautifully presented and a good variety every day. We felt like family there, and enjoyed the pre-dinner drinks and...

I found myself lucky enough to have the weekend off during a recent work trip to Lilongwe, before flying out i’d stumbled across a review of Danforth on a blog written some years ago and am very glad I did. From the outset Michelle, Howard and their dedicated team were absolutely fantastic, my friends and I had some funny arrangements...

Arrive as customers, leave as friends. Michelle and Howard have created a very special environment, where no detail is too small and a special interest is taken in all those who stay. This theme is consistent in the whole Danforth Team, with Stephi's amazing and tasty daily menu selection and Maria & Gorka's friendly and helpful support in the water...

From the moment we arrived we knew the weekend would be fun filled and action packed. Professional staff had the right balance of discretion and friendliness, the food was excellent, accommodation faultless and the lodges grounds and sailing, kayaking diving, waterskiing and safety equipment were ship shape and well organised. We will be back!

We spent one day at Danforth, and were just blown away with the warm hospitality, delicious food, and excellent activities. By the time we left, we felt like family. It was simply one of the most positive lodging experiences in our lives. The colorful tropical fish in Lake Malawi are amazing, and the sunsets are unbelievable.

I stayed at Danforth for three nights in December 2014. I've been living in Malawi for the past two years and I will say this is one of the best accommodations I stayed at Lake Malawi. Whole facility is clean, foods are tasty and lovely reliable people. All the facilities are for the residents and therefore you will have a...
