We arrived in Salou around midnight and had a terrible experience with our booked accommodation via easyJet. With three children in tow we had to find accommodation for one night close by and that would accommodate all 5 of us. In winter this wasn’t easy however we came across Brea’s hotel and made our way there to check it was open first. We arrived nearer 1am and the man on reception was amazing organising a family room for us extra towels and water. The rooms were fabulous modern, huge with the most comfortable large beds imaginable it was bliss. In the morning the lady came to the door to say although breakfast wasn’t included in our price we were all welcome to come down to a free breakfast. Wonderful staff and experience overall thank you so much we are so grateful for the hospitality we received in our hour of need.

+ We stayed on New Year's Eve in the room for four and it was like an apartment: two huge rooms with very comfortable beds, large living room with sofas, TV, and fridge. Spacious bathroom...Very good!!. There is also a bar inside the hotel where you can have a drink. We were able to order pizza at the hotel. Very comfortable, soundproof and super sleep quality. The guy at the front desk who also served the bar on 10.
-Only electric charger would be missing in the parking lot, it's about time to put it!!

This hotel was a surprise. To be honest having stayed in similar motorway run family hotels our expectations were for just a clean bed. Instead we got a huge room which was clean bright and modern. Really comfy beds and an amazing bathroom with a walk in shower. Seriously one of the best rooms we have had. Lots of car parking, dog friendly and close to the motorway. Brilliant find.
The adjacent restaurant was just superb.
Excellent value for money.

I wanted to go with my partner two nights in Sant Joan 2024 (we had the reservation made since November 2023) but due to the sudden illness of an immediate family member, we completely forgot the hotel reservation, as we had our heads elsewhere. We also do not receive any emails or SMS reminders from the hotel or the booking page (Agoda) in all the months or weeks prior to booking, which we also find extremely rare. The fact is that we have been charged 100% of the reservation for "no show", which seems excessive, since we have not caused any direct cost to the hotel. Bad for the hotel for charging 100% of the reservation and bad also for not having called us even on the day of arrival to check if we remembered the reservation or if we planned to go (in fact, they should always do it for all the 'check-ins' of the day but I imagine they do not because they know that this is precisely how many expenses are saved).

Of course, it is not what is expected of a four-star, but in particular and what is truly worrying, is the attitude, intolerable, of the receptionist / waiter (covered both functions) with whom we agree in our stay, unable to perform his job with the seriousness that an employee is supposed to have in front of the public. A type disrespectful enough to leave the image of the company through the ground, and to rule out, ipso facto, this accommodation for the next occasions we visit the area.
Ultimately, if you’re looking for a decent deal and Pro service, up to what is expected of such a hotel, any other option will be better, even if the price is higher.
It’s the first review I’ve done in many years, and at first, I was going to let it go, but after thinking about it and reading other opinions that agree and point to the same problem, if these lines serve to avoid other people a hard time due to the malpractice of the hotel staff, it will have helped.

I had already been to this hotel a few years ago and found it all right (without being the best hotel in the world, not bad either). In November 2023 I made a reservation for Sant Joan 2024 (June), for two nights. The fact is that my father has recently fallen ill and with his illness and all the stress generated, I did not even remember the reservation made in November. Well, I didn't get any reminder emails from Destinia, nor from the hotel itself, NADA. A few days ago I was charged both nights on the VISA and I just realized now, seeing the extract. I would have appreciated a reminder e-mail from Destinia and/or the hotel itself or a call from the hotel to ask if we were going or not (since I live in Barcelona, less than an hour and a half from the hotel; we could probably have escaped at least one of the two nights). Anyway, my fault for not remembering the reservation months ago but very bad by the hotel for not sending any reminder, nor calling to see what happened. I'm sorry, but you lost me as a client because it cost you nothing.

Pension rather nice even if a little withdrawn.
Easy parking.
However, there would really need a big refreshment, we had to change rooms twice because the air conditioning did not work.
The bedding was excellent.
Breakfast was very average but the Pension restaurant was very good for a very decent Award.

Had a lovely nights stay at Breas Hotel. Really lovely modern hotel, nice roomy and comfortable room with all the amenities you’d expect like air conditioning, hair dryer, fridge with water.
Nice and quiet nights sleep. Very pleasant breakfast that was included. Very nice staff and everyone I spoke to speaks good English.
Now I know this hotel is here and is such good value I’ll definitely be back and then I’ll take the opportunity to visit Reus and Taragonna.
Highly recommend

Stayed here after a late flight into Reus. Beautiful place, immaculate room. The staff coped amazingly with our tiny grasp of Spanish. They couldn't have been more helpful. The food and service was of the highest quality. If you're staying there before a flight from the airport, ask at reception and they'll phone the bus to stop outside. Airport taxis are a total rip off €18! Bus is €3
Highly recommended. Great value.

I used netflix and youtube without problems.
Lo mejor es que llames directamente al hotel ellos tienen la información. Siento no poder ayudarte mas.
The parking lot has no height restrictions. You should be good. Just double check there are no power lines.
I would call the hotel and ask
"Ask for a kingsize bed, and check if the cold water is running before you check in, our water had some problems, only steamy hot..."Read full review
