this has to be one of the most surprising stays of my life and i have travelled the globe!! from the moment we parked the car and entered reception we knew we were going to have a great stay, this hotel is run by two brothers and a mother - a totally family run hotel and it is perfect for montepulciano, montalcino, montichello and all the most beautifu places in siena - we were also on the door step of cianchaino and the walks are amazing - the hotel staff are exceptionally friendly, super informative and welcoming, the wine they provide is superb, the breakfast is a work of art and served beautifully in accord with all the new regulations regarding the covid 19 pandemic. we hd to leve after one night as they were fully booked but i would have stayed a week if i could have - please stay, the town is not much but the short drive into the tuscan hills and towns make this place the best kept secret - till the next stay, thanks to all of you at the 2 cigni, rita and gennaro, avellino

My husband an I stayed here for 1 night and as we were using a "smart box gift" I am delighted to give this lovely friendly hotel full marks. From the moment we booked our room we were treated with respect and the confirmation arrived very quickly. On entering this charming hotel, we were met by Niccolò at reception. We were welcomed with professionalism and joy, we had advice for all surrounding areas and resteraunts and in fact was the perfect mini trip, which if I'm honest is rare. A true pleasure to stay in a very clean and impeccably kept room with a very gracious bathroom. Breakfast was truly perfect from home made cakes to hams and cheese. Something for everyone. The surrounding hills are full of hidden treasures. Thank you "Hotel I Due Cigni" we will definately be returning. In December there are also the most gorgeous Christmas markets to visit in the surrounding areas. Well worth escaping to this beautiful friendly zone of Tuscany...

We booked this room from Italy as we changed travel plans. It was a great hotel and a great find. The staff was amazing and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was very good, they were pleasant and efficient, and any request was received graciously. It's also very well located to tour the Tuscan countryside and villages - closest to Montepulciano. We were there during the World Cup, so the lobby became a gathering place for interested guests, adding to the friendly atmosphere.

We stayed overnight while passing through Tuscany, this hotel is located just outside of Montepulciano, one of the Tuscan hill town famous for its wines. It is a family run affair and they are very friendly from the time you step into the hotel, upbeat and full of energy. The room is a good size and breakfast was good and adequate.
