Its was an amazing 4 nights 5 day stay for my family, My son enjoyed the Mini Club and he just did not want to leave clubmed that he started crying in the car.
The staff were highly professional and they have put in all their efforts to make our visit a fantastic one.
Food was great and we stayed back for the Christmas eve. The shows were great specially the circus, time machine and music factory.
The mini club was the most amazing which my son never felt he wanted his parents and spent almost the whole day there getting involved in the activities for kids. I would like to specially thank the Mini club and they were highly caring and professional that I would never have to worry about kids left at their care.
Even during the Covid time, we were comfortable that all SOP were in place.
The only draw back was that the Wifi does not work well and times I felt we lost communication to the outside world. Its good for Clubmed to also install the necessary infra for cellphone communications so that we get signals everywhere in their resort.
The food for vegetarians is extremely limited. But I appriciate that the chef offered to cook something that I could eat as a vegetarian.
oh.., Not to forget, Clubmed better consider installing water Bidets in your washroom (Tandas) as using paper is super western and we do have Asian visitors to your resort.

First of all I would like to thank GO pic name James and Noan the bartender from the Main Bar area for their excellence service and both of them has a charming smile plus presentable.
Overall, me and my friend are happy and enjoyed staying there. We loved to stay there.. Clean and the staffs are friendly. Food 3 times a day..Activites we could participate.. Everything is included in the package. So we do not need to bring money or pay extra for it. EXCEPT for the Toilets! Very disappointed and not convenient for us.! My room don't have toilet/hose bidet! We have to go to the public toilet near the main area and worst part only 1 room has bidet! Sometimes long queue becoz other visitor also wanted to use that particular toilet with bidet.
The resort need to improve 1. Every room and main public toilet should have toilet bidet/hose every toilet room. Very critical!!!!
2.Buggy car to pick/drop customer to their room or send to their car.. If can..coz the area is huge and the chalet is quite a distance if we got the room far from the Main area..
3. Since the resort is in Pahang.. Mayb can promote best local food in Pahang-pahang signature food.. ie keropok lekor as part of dessert food etc..

This was our first holiday post mco, and while I've been to club med before, was worried with a senior citizen and child in tow whether this would be a safe enough environment given their all inclusive dining setting.
The verdict it.. It was a great trip! Many arrangements were made to ensure a clean and sanitised setting. Everyone had to have masks and gloves at the buffet line. Guests were also respectful of the rules. We took a shuttle up and down between the hotel and private beach, and the driver sanitised all the seats after every trip.
It wasn't crowded so that was good too. There was enough social distancing even when we took the evening hike into the hill or even at the swimming pool.
We had a great time. Haven't been to cherating since I was a kid and u always feel its better overseas, but I was very very surprised. There were do many activities from water sports to hiking. The zen pool was very calming with cabanas by the beach. A very relaxing and enjoyable trip.

This Club Med has no comparison to the normal standard of any club med in the world. It is totally oversold. A shame that with such an spectacular scenery and a beautiful beach, Club Med didn't have the vision to do something better. The hotel is completely run down. The wifi is the worst, facilties are very basic, awful tv signal, even worst rooms. There are leaks everywhere. They offer an all inclusive service, but the quality of alcoholic beverages is extremely poor; pretty much not drinkable. For instance, the wine is left open for days and taste basically as vinegar. Breakfast closes at 9.30am which is ridiculous, and then you are left with only one food option until lunch time. If you arrive at 3pm you are limited to only this option until dinner time. Check out is 11am which is another ridiculous and poorly coordinated time. The check out process is also painful, as you need to check out before 11am or pay extra. Rooms don't have any personal hygiene kits and you need to request it. The only decent aspect of the hotel is the private beach with the adult swimming pool. If you have very young children and you want to leave them with a babysitter, maybe this is your place. But forget this hotel for teenagers, couples or older adults. The rooms are very far away from the main lobby and there is no access for disable people. This is a 3 star hotel, but not a 5 star hotel as per their advertising and room charges.
Two things that could be highlight as per a 5 star standard are the gardens (extremely well mantained) and the young personal attitude who try to do the best they can with the very limited budget and resources they have.
I would not return or recommend this hotel to anyone in my close circle.

The only good things about the resort are the international crew of guest officers and excellent location with access to beaches. The room I ended up in with my family was poorly maintained and even the flush button regularly got stuck. The glass doors to the balcony could be better designed so you don't end up slamming your hand in them. Bed wise - average. The phone in the room did not work throughout the stay and according to maintenance this was a problem in many units. Food was average at best and I would have expected better. The lane to get to the "safe beach" should be better designed and moss cleaned off so that its not slippery Should have used the lockdown period to upgrade the resort and perform necessary repairs. Would I return? Probably not

Club Med, more like club mediocre. The room in the resort was quite dated and the double bed is actually 2 single beds combined together. Besides, the room size is quite small as well. A lot of activities are unavailable due to the RMCO setting such as the treetop challenge and the flying trapeze. For the other activities that are available, most of the time when we reach the venue, the GOs will just tell you to come back later as there is already fully booked but then you cannot book in advanced for your slot which is super inefficient!
What's next, let's talk about the food. The buffer served in the main restaurant is so bad that I can't even finish my food. As Club Med advertises on its website that one of their attraction is the gourmet food that they served, I had higher expectation. However, in reality, I was served cold,plain food in a fancy plating. Besides, the all-you-can drink booze was so watered down that I feel like I might have more alcohol intake if I chose to drink a can of Shandy that I can get from any 711 chain.
With the money i spent on the so-call all inclusive experience, I expected more in terms of the accommodation, activities, food, drinks and entertainment. In my entire trip, I think the only thing that is up to my expectation is the beach itself. So if you are thinking about a beachside vacation at east coast, I suggest you to skip this Club Mediocre and just find a decent hotel instead.

Stayed with Family for 4 days and we had an awesome time. Recommended to any families who live in malaysia now due to travel restrictions abroad. Kids had a gr8 time at the mini club and us parents too. With the current C-19 still on going they really managed to go the extra miles ensuring SOP is followed, at activities, restaurant, swimming pool and everywhere. Our Kids are well taken care of and us parents can just chilled and do anything during day time and they (GOs the staffs) are still able to perform night show entertainment... wahhh... crazy lahh..! Bar is not operating due to restrictions but still available at the other restaurant all day long. Kudos to Jenny and the team for doing such a gr8 job. Will surely come back !! Bravo 👍.

I have actually booked a getaway here in the beginning of the year before the Covid-19 Pandemic and had to postpone the vacation until recently. I was initially very wary of how to practice social distancing in a resort settings but my fear was allayed as soon as we reached the resort. All the GOs and GMs are wearing masks around the resort and there's plenty of sanitizing station around. During activities, there's clearly marked spots where we are at an appropriate distance from each other. Disposable gloves and envelopes for masks are provided during mealtime. It shows that Club Med put in a lot of effort to make sure our stay here is fun and most importantly safe. The food is excellent and you must make time for a dinner at Rembulan. The dinner there was simply magnificent.
I would like to express my special gratitude to Gazz from mini club for his enthusiasm and treatment of my daughter during her mini club time. He turned a normal vacation getaway for my daughter into a unforgettable memory filled with fun and laughter. My daughter is still raving about the fun times she had at the mini-club with Gazz whom she lovingly calls "Uncle Mulan".
I would also like to say thank you to Sunny who was super helpful during our check-out process.

Although 2 days on the job, the GM looks like he has been there forever. He remembers the team members name , our name, this guy is incredible !!
I lost count of how many trips we made to Club Med and each time I thought it cannot get better but it DOES!!
It is one resort I want to learn and remember all the names of the wonderful people, Abby , Hazique, Yigit, Laurent, Daniel and of course the “ new kid on the block – 2 days’ old to be precise” the tall, handsome, charming, humorous and hardworking GM of Club Med Mr Houcem.
The passion, the vibes, the genuine love for the hotel guests is unbelievable.
Food has improve tremendously, Chef Laurent really went out of the way when he knew how I go for quality food, fresh food, how I must have chillie padi for my soup noodles, tabasco sauce for squid, belacan chillie for my fish and not to mention special order of chocolate ice cream!! For someone who have not eaten bread since carbo was declared a “bad guy” I could not resist the baguette : )
For those who loves their alcohol, here is a great place to go to. From cocktail to wine to hard liquor, you can drink till your heart’s content and reasonable good quality wine
Since the resort changed hands, even fussy, spoilt, picky and hard to please guest like me must salute to the tremendous work done in the upkeep of the place knowing the resort has been built perhaps 3 decades ago? I had a nice corner room with a large balcony facing the sea. Even if the rooms are small, everything is available – safe, fridge, kettle, separate toilet and bathroom, day and night curtain, tv, you name it they have it. Small attention to details – even the shower head has green led lights on them – how cool is that haha!!
When we check out, the whole team was there to wave good bye. It is one resort that win hands down in every aspect be it service, food, rooms, games and facilities, entertainment, fun for all ages. Please reward yourself and your loved ones for surviving the pandemic by booking them into this awesome resort and you will know the meaning of LIFE IS GOOD.

This visit is basically a company trip and we all were given a twin sharing / double bed bedroom which mean we share with our colleagues for the 3 day 2 night stay. However, the shower area from the entrance area doesn’t have a wall or door to block the view in the shower cubicle (glass) to cover your birthday suit if you are having your shower.
Due to privacy issue, I informed the front desk if they can do anything about this. It was good that the front desk attended to my issue professionally and arrange someone to visit the room to check on the condition. The housekeeping came to check but he told me that it was normal as this is their design for the room. *Hello* I’m not on a couple trip and my others colleague room do have a wall or door inbetween this two area. I don’t mind if I am with my wife but this is a company trip and I am with my colleagues.
After explaining to him about my concern, he said need will need to take some photos and show his manager. The housekeeping guy came back after a few minutes and started to video call his managers or superiors *this is where I felt offended most* as they (the two so called manager or superior) where laughing so loud as It is merely a joke to them when I felt that my privacy was an issue here.
They even advise me to lock the door or tell my colleague to go out when I want to shower. I can’t securely lock the door because the door latch is broken (see attached photos) and they didn’t even change it after I told them.
Everything else was good but I did not give a 5 star for this review because of the attitude of the so called housekeeping manager/supervisor which I felt totally annoyed by how they responded to my issue.
Team Building activity was great thanks to Ms. Jestina which patiently answered to all our question and guide us through all the games - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We drove from Penang and although it was a long day we had a great time. There are plenty of rest stops all along with way offering a variety of local food and some chain brands as well.
