Our stay at Andromeda was just perfect!

The rooms and the facilities were incredibly clean and well maintained. We only know this kind of cleanliness from the good 5 star hotels in Dubai, but Andromeda can definitely keep up with that. We already felt comfortable as soon as we entered the hotel. The pool area and also the garden are very nice and well-kept and only invited us to relax.

We felt warmly welcomed in this family run hotel. Grigoris and his sister Marietta are very friendly and kind people. They are very helpful and courteous. Whenever we needed advice on activities or restaurants, they always took the time to give us valuable tips. Marietta is super open-hearted and took us on a little private tour of the complex, showing us all the beautiful fruit trees and telling us interesting stories about the hotel and how it was built.
The location of the hotel is perfect, with a rental car you are in the city in 5 minutes and everything else was also super easy to reach. A bus stop is also directly at the hotel. We were there in Corona time and have to say that they put a lot of effort in following the hygienic measures and we felt very safe.

We will definitely come back and recommend it with pleasure. Thanks Grigoris and Marietta! :)

We booked last minute after the change in government rules meant we couldn't travel to the villa we had booked in Lanzarote. We couldn't have been more delighted with our apartments in this beautiful hotel. Firstly, the whole place is spotlessly clean and the family team who run it are so friendly and helpful. The pool is large and there are plenty of comfy sunloungers and shady spots around it.
Cleaning is obviously a high priority, and we witnessed each and every sunlounger being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected each morning. The pool is the cleanest I've swum in.
The beds were very comfortable and the linen is good quality. We were offered cleaning and linen changes twice during a 7 day holiday.
The fridge and small kitchen unit was very useful (pack a tea towel, washing up sponge and small bottle of washing up liquid as these are not provided) and the air conditioning was effective. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our balcony and we had a lovely sea view.
The breakfast was gorgeous - highly recommended.
We hired cars and visited several different beautiful beaches over the island, as week as mountain villages. We had amazing food pretty much everywhere we went.
From a covid perspective we felt very safe. Due to the wonderful weather we were always outside and the vast majority of restaurant staff etc wore masks and provided hand sanitizer.
There are great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
Would highly recommend the Andromeda for couples and families.

We can't think of a single negative comment anyone could possibly make about this family run hotel. We have now stayed 2 consecutive years for our main family holiday.
The hotel is attractive inside and out, and absolutely spotless. The beds and pillows are super comfy, and the air conditioning fantastic. Each room has a small kitchenette with everything you need for self catering, although there are wonderful restaurants nearby (15 min walk or short taxi ride).
The customer service is exemplary. Every member of the small team couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful or friendly. We felt we were staying with friends.
The swimming pool and gardens are beautiful and also kept spotlessly clean.
This is an ideal location to stay on Kos, especially if you are hiring cars. If not, it's just a short taxi ride into Kos Town, where you can access boat and bus trips around the island.
We loved the water parks, and Marmari beach is our favourite.
Thank you so much for a wonderful and memorable holiday!

Well we just loved this place! Our appartment was very clean, & the cleaner came in ever day to make beds, empty bins, mop floors etc. Every other day towels were changed. The owners were so friendly & attentive to our needs. They were so lovely. Couldn't do enough for us. They had lots of advice on where to visit. They are happy to book things up for you ie. car rental, excursions, bike hire, taxi. Although it was self catering, you could orderbar snacks or huge breakfast for approx €12.90 each. There is a list of items you could order for breakfast but regardless of whether you add NO extras, or ALL the extras It's the same price which was a bit odd. Everything should of had it's own price as for instance i would of been happy with just yoghurt & honey. The owner bakes cakes to go with the breakfast, she makes her own jams also. Another family that wear staying ordered everything (all extras) for breakfast & put it all in tupper wear (very clever). That would easily of kept that family going all day until dinner the amount they serve up. The pool & surrounding area was very clean. Pool was quiet. Everyone seems to be in & out doing different things so there was never a worry of finding a sunbed. On some occasions we had the pool to ourselves! About 40 min walk from Kos town. To hot to walk in the day IMO. But can get a bus (very cheap), hire bike, rent an e scooter, or go at night. The place is really well looked after & maintained. Air con & safe in room were at no extra charge which I've not had on a holiday abroad before so that alone I think is worth 5 stars! Beds & pillows we amazingly comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a really brilliant holiday at Andromeda (August 2023).
Gregoris and his family were really welcoming and friendly and the apartment suited us perfectly. We (two adults and a child) had a one bedroom apartment which was a nice size and always perfectly clean, with the towels and bedding changed regularly.

The pool was a nice size, and never overly crowded. I think that where this is a self catering resort (although a very substantial breakfast is available), most people go off exploring during the day.

The nearby restaurants are good (some better than others), and Kos town is walkable for even more choice.

We hired a car for two days, which wasn't enough time to explore the island, although Bubble Beach, Paradise Beach, Agios Stefanos and Therma (go at night) were definitely worth it.

I would highly recommend Andromeda for a family holiday.

The whole hotel and pool was perfectly clean, along with our room. Room was serviced every day. We loved the little touches such as the way the towels/bedding was displayed. Grigoris, Maria & Ria were amazing. They made us feel at home & always helped us out with any questions we had. Maria gave us a dried pomegranate as a token of good luck as we were on our honey moon and we appreciated that so much! 10/10 would recommend if you're wanting a friendly, family feel hotel.

Late booking which exceeded expectations. Lovely family owned and run hotel with a fantastic pool. Just what we wanted for a relaxing break. Recommend bike hire for getting around as very safe cycle path all the way to Kos town. Area very flat so for non cyclists it is the perfect way to get around. Local taverna Nestoria definitely worth checking out. Staff at Andromeda go out of there way to make you feel both welcome and safe. Spotlessly clean with nice gardens. Especially liked hearing the bells from the local goat herd in the evening. A Greek holiday we would love to repeat when normality returns.

On Wednesday last week I walked from Niriides Hotel searching for a sandy beach. It was very hot and I began to struggle. I also needed the bathroom. There were no tavernas/no hotels and I was exhausted. I eventually came across your hotel, which was a huge relief.

I should mention here that I am 64 years old and carry a little extra weight. I was able to use your bathroom and then visited your bar to purchase a much needed bottle of water. You only accepted cash and wouldn’t take a card payment. It was obvious that I needed to rehydrate.

The water was €1. I honestly thought you would recognise my distress and allow me a bottle, but no. You could see I was alone and you knew that I had a mile walk back to my hotel with nowhere to purchase water.

Fortunately, and because I’m not shy, I asked an Italian family who were sunbathing around the pool if I could borrow €1, offering a bank transfer immediately. They kindly handed me the cash and refused my offer of a transfer. Had they refused, I honestly don’t know what I would have done. I tearfully drank the water and set off back to my hotel

Your receptionist should be strongly spoken to. I was clearly distressed and the consequence of his refusal to assist me in my hour of need could have been horrendous. I had no idea when I set off that the road was completely void of shops/tavernas/hotels. Had I known, I would never have started my walk. I’ve thought long and hard about this day, particularly since the news of Dr Michael Moseley’s sad ending. €1! Shame on you.

Stayed here for 2 nights the hotel is immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated, the apartment was a good size with a separate bedroom, the kitchen well kitted with a fridge, microwave and kettle. The beds where really comfy with good quality bedding and pillows ( choice of pillows available ) Pool and garden area lovely. This is a family run hotel who are very friendly and welcoming.
Bus stop right outside the hotel so easy to get to and from Kos town we actually walked it it a few times took about 30 minutes its flat all the way so no hills to climb up.

Stayed here for a week in July. Staff are absolutely amazing. They cater for any worry that you have or any trouble. I stayed here with two other girls and one of the ladies said if we ever got into any difficulties or troubles out in Kos town they would come and get us. One evening as we went out for for a meal we were stopped by one of the hotel owners and she said we had to get a picture with the sun set and she had a photo shoot with us. We had breakfast as well one morning and the Greek yoghurt with the honey was unreal. Hotel was really clean along with the grounds and the pool were really well kept. We stayed in a studio room. It was really spacious and cleaning staff came in every day. I couldn’t flaw the place. Anything you need booked as well they are happy to book it for you. Ria helped us out with the bookings. Felt a real connection with the staff as we got hugs of them when we left. I would really recommend this hotel. It’s about a 40 min walk from Kos town but 15 mins on the elerent scooters which I would highly recommend. Buy hotel also offer bike rental. I feel this hotel is perfectly situated and the staff make the hotel. Can’t wait to come back here and to stayed again. 😀😀

The picture on Google maps needs to be updated as it does not show the full beauty of the hotel.

I didn't experience any issues with loud music around the pool. There were some children playing, but they were supervised by parents. Regarding loud music at night, there isn't any. There really wouldn't be anyone around when I got back from dinner in the evening. It is on a main road into town, but I wasn't really conscious of the traffic noise and there's a bus stop right outside to get you into Kos town and back. The owners are very keen to maintain their rating, so I don't think they'd allow behaviour that might upset guests. The only down side I saw was that the kitchen wasn't very well equipped if you wanted more than a drink and a snack, but that didn't bother me.

I agree with everything Bill S says above. Just one slight thing to add: the breakfasts at Andromeda are 7 euros if you pay for them individually, but, I think, 5 euros if you say you want them for the entirety of your trip. We didn't try any of the places nearby for breakfast either so we don't know either about other places for breakfast. Sorry not to be more helpful on this one.
