The room itself (302) was spotless, had a decent sized balcony with views over the pool and the beach and sea beyond. It was open plan which I really didn’t like at all, mirrors everywhere which meant you were on show to your partner in the shower or bath, no hiding places! Also the toilet had a glass door which was slightly opaque which again I didn’t like, personally I prefer a bit more privacy.
The maids looking after the room did a great job, frequent daily towel changes, fresh bottled water replaced daily and little treats left on your pillow on an evening.
The main lobby of the hotel was nice and the snacks around the pool were very tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were on the whole pleasant and were helpful arranging taxis, getting our cases to and from the airport transport etc. On the last day they said they’d extended our check out time for the room as we weren’t getting picked up until 3pm which was a nice touch.
The pool itself was nice and we never struggled getting a sunbed, towels were plentiful and individually wrapped, sanitised and delivered to you in plastic bags.
The hotel was on a corner which seemed to make the pool area windy most days, there was glass screening around which helped but didn’t eradicate it completely.
A twenty minute walk took you into Kos town which was buzzing with places to see or a taxi cost just 7€ and there were plenty available for a return trip to the hotel.
Although we enjoyed the hotel and couldn’t fault it, it was considerably more expensive than others in the location and as we spent the majority of time exploring the island rather than spending our days around the hotel we started to question whether it was good value for money?
Overall a good hotel, slightly out of town, great quality but definitely pricey in comparison to others.

This is a beautiful hotel and I can definitely agree with the recent reviews. Service, food and staff are first class. Plenty of hand sanitisers and rules for wearing masks and disposable gloves at buffet breakfast. All areas were very clean and well cared for except the dirty corridor carpet on the 4th floor as reported by a fellow traveller. Didn't visit other 'room' floors so cannot comment. As you entered our room, you walked straight into the open plan bathroom which I didn't care for and regrettably the swimming pool did not appear to be heated. Apart from the negatives, I would definitely recommend the Aqua Blue.

We cannot express our thanks enough to all the wonderful staff at Aqua Blu, we had a very stressful time before arriving for this holiday, (health issues) and as soon as we arrived, I felt all the worries just drift away…
The property is in a fantastic location, just outside Kos town (hire bikes, so cheap and easy to get around) the landscaping is beautiful and rooms very comfortable (we had a pool experience room and loved it!)
The thing that sets this Hotel apart from others, is most certainly the staff. All employees we met were very genuine, helpful, hard working, and doing their utmost to ensure that everyone was happy. Special thanks go out to Maria, who was ever present, helping us to make restaurant reservations, making recommendations for things to do and see around the island, she is an absolute asset to the hotel. Also to Tony, Zinet, Amelia, Alvin, Alexandra, Aris, Maria, Vasilis, Hernando (thanks for my latte) and Demi in the spa. You all helped to make our time so very special, we cannot thank you enough.

The hotel itself if beautiful and so spacious. It was fully booked while we were there and you couldn't tell. Always sunbeds free around the pool and at the beach. The service from every single member of staff was immaculate and so welcoming. We were enjoying ourselves so much we forgot names but the young beach boy, the Albanian-Dietology-student waitress in the mornings, and the tall dark haired male waiter in the afternoon/evenings were stand out. The service from all made the stay for us.
We liked how the bath / shower was part of the room but something to consider if you are coming with a parent or friend rather than partner.
Location was perfect for us - the 20/30 minute walk into town is a lovely way to stretch your legs after a day at the beach.
Breakfast was a great spread and we especially enjoyed the pork gyros and cypriot pitta bread sandwich at lunch by the pool. Highly recommend the BBQ night for dinner and the Spicy Mexicana cocktails as well.

From the welcome drink to the in depth tour of the property, the Aqua Blu staff did not disappoint. The view of the sea and pool area is spectacular and if you prefer the beach, there are ample loungers and tiki umbrellas.

Daily breakfast offer numerous options with the best orange juice I have ever tasted. The staff was always friendly and was ready to refresh our coffee or take our order for crepes, omlets, pancakes, etc.

One night we attended a sunset BBQ laid out by the pool. There were endless options of traditionally grilled greek meats, vegetables, appetizers and baklava desserts. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant on several days and were amazed at the consistent quality and presentation (tuna tartare, ocotpus, Greek salad, tzatziki, corn pita, etc.).

I had a massage and it was terrific. The treatment room was dimmed, smelled like essential oils and played calming music.

Our room was a side sea view suite and was more than comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with a great view of the water.

Above all the staff were the friendliest and most helpful folks I have encountered in a long time. Many thanks to Nikolaos, Elena, Antonis [guest relations], Alex [the bartender], Aspa in the spa, the porter and other front desk staff.

The walk to beginning of Kos Town is about 20-25 minutes so if there is anything to consider, it's that. We walked back and forth to town all but one time.

All the staff are amazing. the attention to detail admirable. We arrived at 1.45am and we were met with a welcome smile, efficient checking in and when we were shown our room. A bottle of wine, sandwiches, and beautifully prepared fresh fruit was waiting for us.
That was the beginning of a great experience. The bed was comfortable, and enormous! The water was always piping hot, towels were replaced twice a day and little messages from the housekeeping team cheered us at bed time.
The desk staff were friendly, nothing was to much trouble. They organised excursions for us, recommended restaurants, told us the best way to get into Kos Town( local bus 1.35 euro) and always had a cheery greeting when ever you passed. We were addressed by our name after the first morning.
Breakfast was excellent. freshly squeezed orange, a wide variety from the a la carte menu as well as help yourself buffet. there was fizz if you wanted it. All eaten in a lovely dining room surrounded by lapping water.
The hotel has it’s own private beach always beautifully prepared, towels are available from reception at any time of the day. there is a beautiful pool as well plus a jacuzzi and great sun beds.
We were bed and breakfast as we like to explore different venues. There were some excellent restaurants in Kos to suit all pockets and a couple of good ones within walking distance of the hotel
Bikes, scooters and cars were all very easy to rent. we explored Kos on a cycle (3 euros for the day) They had there own locks and designated cycle ways so it was very safe.
There is also an excellent spa with some wonderful treatment on offer all carried out by caring staff who enjoy what they are doing.
This is one of the most memorable holidays we have had in the 50 plus years we have been going together and the caring staff made it very special.
I would recommend this hotel to any adults( it does not cater for small children)
Hopefully some day we will go back

Just returned from a four night stay at this hotel. I would highly recommend the Aqua Blu, the rooms are immaculate, the decor is stunning and it has a great location it’s kind of out of the way of the main town, but close enough to walk, with many shops, bars and restaurants along the way. It has its own private area of the beach, the pool area has enough comfortable sunbeds for everyone, so there’s no mad rush. The breakfast selection is vast enough to cater for even the fussiest of eaters and the staff are polite, courteous and particularly helpful. Jacqueline the manager swiftly sorted a minor issue for us within minutes. All in all it was just a real pleasure to stay here.....we will almost certainly return.

First of all, the personnel and service is excellent, five star worth.

This is a boutique hotel, so the bath/shower is on "open area" and the toilet has just sliding door. Ok for the couples.
Room size was great and it was cleaned very good.
If you like to eat outside the hotel rent a bike or prepare to walk a mile.

Some things that dropped the stars:
There isn't number of the front desk anywhere on the room, not on the hotel folder, not on the key card pocket, not on the desk phone.
The doors of the closets doesn't have the silent hinges. Everytime you close the door it slams.
The tv and the channels available aren't 2022. No mirroring, no football can be seen, etc.

The pool area and beach sun beds are good.

Lovely boutique adult only hotel in a secluded location with a quiet private beach and close to a public beach with a nice bar. The service was exceptional - always there to help organise days out and recommend restaurants. The room was beautiful and spacious and, although described as 'side view' of sea, had a lovely vista out to the sea and local islands. The pool is very relaxed with comfortable loungers. The water is slightly chilly in October. The only negative is the design of the bathroom, with a glass door to the toilet! The bus service to Kos town takes under 10 minutes and is very cheap. The town is full of lovely restaurants and bars and not too crowded in October. Will definitely stay at Aqua Blu and its sister hotel Albergo in the town.

This beautiful boutique hotel is so welcoming. It’s modern with ambient lighting reflecting onto white stone walls and glass tables with Fornasetti vases. The bedrooms are bright with lovely white cotton sheets on a huge comfortable bed with bouncy pillows that you sink into making it the best night sleep ever. The exterior is worthy of a photo shoot as it’s picturesque, very comfortable from the chairs to the sun beds. But the real stars of the show are the staff who go above and beyond to ensure you feel welcomed and valued. From the guy at the door who insists on taking your luggage to your room and the barman whose mixology skills are magical, also the fantastic team who serve delicious food and drinks throughout the day and who take time to have a genuine chat about your stay. Plus the extremely motivated manager Kostas and reception staff who answer all queries with a smile .The Spa must get a mention as the massages completely relax you and leave you feeling wonderful. The hotel is kept perfectly spotless by Paris and her team. Nature also steps into this hotel at 6.30pm with a stunning sunset that is truly mesmerising. This is our third visit and won’t be the last.

Hi, we never ate at the hotel other than for breakfast. We suspect it wold have been more expensive than eating in many of the restaurants in Kos town. We prefer to eat like that and feel we get to explore more of the Kos culture than dining in a hotel, particularly as there are so many restaurants in town. Cycling in helps though as it does take a good 20 minutes at least to walk in.
