I had a comfortable stay here. The staff are all excellent and everyone tried to make sure my stay was lovely. They always greeted me when i passed them around the property and were always helpful.

The location is the best bit. There are great views of the sea and nearby islands from the pool area. Its located near a fantastic bakery and ice cream shop and 10 minutes walk into the centre of Kos. There is a stone beach right in front of the property that many people used and there are benches to sit and people watch whilst also viewing the sea. Many good restaurants within walking distance.

Facilities are average with 2 electric hobs, fridge and microwave. Enough to make some basic meals and keep your drinks cold. The beds are super comfy and i had great sleep. Even though there are blackout curtains there is still lots of light pollution in the room so recommend eye masks if that bothers you. Shower gel, hand lotion and razors were provided in the room as well as slippers which i enjoyed as the tile floor would've been cold. There is air conditioning in the room and a safe with a key provided. The free WiFi was intermittent but stronger nearest the pool.

Cons was that there were roaches. I saw 2 in my room during my 7 day stay. Also the closet was unusable as it stank of cigarette smoke.

We stayed overnight while island hopping and where surprised how good this hotel was. They staff really make it. They are friendly and make sure that you are looked after. The hotel is old but has been revamped. Very clean and good value for money.

Just arrived from one week trip to Kos town. Stayed at Hotel Bristol Sea View. It´s a hotel worth trying. The location is perfect and staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The WC and shower worked perfectly. In Greece it´s not a rule. The only minus comes from the norwegian guests. They were noisy and unpolite but it´s not hotel´s fault.

Upsetting experience. We had a large apartment with 5 beds and there was plenty of space. But the beds are uncomfortable, the AC would not work and when we called the front desk no one answered. The shower was cold and the curtain kept falling down, and the toilet broke (again, no one to help us). Pool bartender was very nice.

Stayed here for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Very large apartment overlooking the pool and the sea.

Very helpful and friendly staff who made us feel most welcome.

Five minute walk to the harbour and old Town.

Highly recommended.

First of all I have to say, the hotels I stayed in, in Greece were very different to standard hotels back in Australia in terms of room facilities. Any standard room in my view has at least a kettle and complementary coffee and teabags, usually iron and ironing board and in case of apartments with a kitchen, you'd expect to see toaster and sometimes a microwave .... But in this newly refurbished, modern, very clean hotel apartments all you can find is a kettle in the kitchen with some cutlery, dishes and glasses. The hotel doesn't have a breakfast room either so you are forced to go out for breakfast! So in terms of facilities in the room it was a big disappointment.
But fortunately the story doesn't end here. The hotel is clean in the rooms and in the common areas. Every day in the morning you can see staff doing a routine of cleaning and maintenance.
The girl who owns the place is an angel, she's always ready to help even if you catch her outside her working hours. When we told her that we need to iron our cloth, she kindly offered to borrow us one and she did. Every time we asked for her help she did her best to help us. Also the guy at the pool bar and the other guy were very friendly and helpful.
The internet was free and the reception was good.
The room was cleaned daily and towels were replaced.
The location of the hotel was best for us, as we wanted to walk to different restaurants, easily access the bike hire shops, be close to town, ...
All in all,I would recommend this hotel

Kos has a special place in my heart. After all, it's where my grandparents were born before they moved to Australia for a better life after the war. As an adult, I'm now reconnecting with Kos and I have been visiting at least once a year for the past decade - dragging my partner along with me. Overall, the quality of hotels in Kos town are absolutely appalling. I travel the world and have a fairly international life and it's the worst stock I have ever seen (and believe me I want to love it). Anyway, with all that said, Kos is a very affordable place to visit. Bristol Seaview is affordable and great value for money. It's spotlessly clean and the staff are more than welcoming. Our room was cleaned professionally and thoroughly on a daily basis, fresh towels and top sheets too. The pool area is great! I had the Seaview apartment which was like a large flat with a massive balcony and separate bedroom. One thing I must say, the attention to detail and presentation is lacking. Tacky 1960s plastic table liners on all tables, random ugly cheap cupboards in the hallways to house linen, used BBQs and junk in guest view, piles of used beach stuff/junk in foyer entrance and horrendous cheap plastic chairs everywhere. Why would you do that? As an ex hospitality professional I didn't understand that at all. Aesthetics and presentation are everything!! The pool bar area is screaming out for a renovation. In fact, I kept thinking/dreaming of how fabulous I could make it if I bought it. The actual building and exteriors are in good order, but it could be sooo much better with just a bit of love and thought. Overall, the hotel is good and the price is competitive, so you get what you pay for I suppose. Overall we were happy customers and my partner and friends had a great time.

Perfectly located, close enough to the action and far away from noise. We booked the top floor penthouse and the view overlooking the ocean was absolutely amazing - well worth spending a bit more. The room was air conditioned, very, very clean and serviced daily but you would struggle, if you wanted to cook. That said the description of the amenities was accurate, so at least you know what you are getting. Rooms are basic and ready for a bit of TLC, a fridge, kettle and two ring hob along with crockery and cutlery are provided.

The staff are super friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. We were hesitant about booking after reading reviews about the loud music by the pool but during our stay, there was no music played. In summary, excellent location, wonderful staff and very clean.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. It was very spacious & even had fly screens on the door & window which you hardly find in Greece. The staff were very kind & friendly. The housemaid found a piece of my jewellery on the floor & very kindly laid it out on my bed for me to see. My only criticism would be the music in the bar area. Great if you are young but not if you want to relax reading a book. The locatio is perfect. Just far away from all the tourists in the town by very close to walk. Did Katerina day cruise during our stay - absolute must.

I have stayed at this property. Unfortunately in Greece, it is common for hotels not to answer emails sometimes.. You needn't worry about taxis as there are always taxis available to meet all ferrys & flights from my experience in traveling all over Greece. I hope this helps.
