I am not sure if this resort is as well known as it deserves...it is a family owned and run complex and you feel it at every moment of your stay.

Pros:
Nice simple apartments
Home made food
Quiet
Absolutely safe
Pleasant service
Nice and spacious swimming pool
Close enough to Kos if you want the buzz

Cons:
No entertainment provided by hotel
About 6 different dishes for meals, homemade, if you're used to 20 meals in big hotels it's a little different but much better quality
The sea is open hence not always calm. But it's warm.
The beach isn't given much attention as it deserves

We want to come back. It's definitely a great value for the price.

Grateful customers from Prague, Czech Republic

We spent a week in an apartment. There were two twin-bedded rooms, a bathroom, a balcony and a hall with another bed and a fridge. Everything there was clean and nice. The staff/owner's family was absolutely amazing, always smiling and willing to help us. There is a wild beach nearby and a pool outside the hotel. The Kos town is about 5 kilometres away, we got there by bikes, which we borrowed at the hotel. We were worried that the weather will be too hot but since it is an island, there is a lot of wind so the temperature was alright and we had fun in the waves. The place is calm and great for a family vacation. We don't have anything for the hotel to reproach.

Captain Pavlos is a small family owned resort where we had the best vacation.
Pavlos, Stella ,Stellios & everyone who works there make you feel like you're part of the family without pushing.

Rooms were up to date, clean & big enough for our stay.
Breakfast buffet was good enough to start the day, lunch & dinner menu had enough choices & the food was really good.
Onside pool is nog enough for the amount of people staying & had enough beds.

The location is about 4 km from Kos city, we rented electric bikes through Pavlos so we could get around.
In under an half hour you're in Kos city or if you went the other way on Tikagi beach.
Everytime we went out during the night & came back to our bungalow it felt like coming home.. I think that says it all!

Pavlos & family, once again thank you for the beautiful memories & we sure will be back!

Decent place, that deserves 4 stars in stead of 3 because a few people make the difference here. Expect all the basics to be in good order. Our apartment was a good size, clean and with very comfortable beds. The only minus is that the resort is located just a bit too far from 'the action' and you will need a bike at least to make your way to Kos-town. With temperatures comfortable during our stay, this actually added to the experience. Bike rental is easy and affordable and the owner is very helpful to make arrangements.

So, why 4 stars in stead of 3? First of all, the cook. Although we only had breakfast, it was among the best simple breakfasts we've ever had. And because it was still very quiet (we were reportedly the first guests of the '24 season) we received a personal treatment by the nicest guy ever! Sorry we forgot your name. The other, whose name we didn't forget, was Stella. The mother of the owner who, together with her sister, makes this place run. And between her hard work still makes time for an occasional chat with guests.

So, recommend place that only needs to change it's name to "Mrs. Stella's"!

We booked this hotel in the hope it would be quieter and more relaxing than a large hotel and we were not dissapointed. The hotel was full, but that only meant about 65 guests in total, so it never felt busy and overcrowded.

The hotel is a small family business, and you are made to feel part of the family straight away. The owners were amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. The owner and his family live above the restaurant/bar, and are always on hand if needed. It really feels like you have been invited in to join the family, as they dine in the restaurant alongside guests while thier children play in the pool.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the housekeepers were always on top of things. The food was very nice, with a good choice for every meal. For a 3* hotel I think the food was great, and better than most bigger hotels.

If you prefer a quiet holiday, where you don't have to worry about portable speakers blasting music from every room, then I would highly recommend this hotel.

We hope to return in the future, and when we do I'm sure we'll be greated like old freinds.

It's a nice family hotel. Good location near a sandy beach. It's located on a quiet place, perfect for families and people who don't like big noisy resorts. Rooms look like new and the surrounding is nicely designed. There is a playground for children and big swimming pool. Food was great. My girlfriend is gluten alergic. We were always told which food she can eat and they have often prepared a special meal for her. They even bought some gluten free snacks for her. Everyone was very friendly and so nice to us. We are glad we chose this hotel.

I would recommend this accommodation for all who are looking quiet area with really delicious truly Greek meal. Nothing luxury but a willingness to please the guests as much as possible. Don´t be shy to have a conversation with a tall man with blonde hair and lot of tattoos on his body. ;-) After long time I have no complains to this place. My kids want to return back next year.

We spent at the hotel 10 nights. We absolutely loved our stay. Pavlos is really friendly and tries his best for the guests. The rooms were really nice and clean, all staff really friendly and helpful at all times. The food was great, we loved especially all the greek specialities they had, baklava, gyros and more.
The locality of the hotel is really quiet, I would recommend it for people from the city looking for relaxed and easy-going holiday. The pool is great also. We borrowed a car and visited different places on the island, but every night we were looking for the dinner and drinkes, which you can buy at the bar. I would definitely recommend Pavlos to our friends and we are considering coming there back next summer or so. And at the end, the price per person was also super friendly.
