We booked and paid for a seaview and were given a single storey villa on the side of the resort next to a police station. When we complained we were offered a single storey villa which appeared to be facing the beach but had a 7 foot wall directly in front - again no seaview. Positives - friendly staff. Negatives - the hotel and rooms have not been updated in many decades. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. No hot water to shower. Airconditioning only in one room but not second room/main living area. No free wi-fi. No free made to order cappuccinos at breakfast - unforgivable and unprecedented for us in Italy. The free coffee was terrible, the range at breakfast was awful and we had to ask for multiple food items to be replenished and in many cases they ran out of choices even though there was still 30 mins before breakfast officially finished.…
Beautiful pool and great access to the beach. No beach towels supplied. No amenities, no tissues. No one to help with the luggage. All rooms overlook the pool. Entertainment good BUT, but every night there were games next to the pool with loud music and an MC screaming over a loud microphone until 1.00-2.00am. No sleep. Dining staff were excellent but a barista made coffee cost extra. Good variety of food during all meals. Although the hotel was kept clean it is badly in need of an update. The carpets were vacuumed but badly stained and filthy. No offer of dry cleaning or laundry. Small balcony a bonus with a drying rack for washing. that was good. No free wi fi. Paid for it but couldn't connect.
This is a large hotel and resort, it includes a hotel with all the amenities, and closer to the beach residential apartments - it has its own large beach. The rooms are nice and modern, with a large terrace overlooking the sea, and since it's fronting towards the southeast - shaded in the afternoon. Breakfast is bountiful and not so good, and you need to pay for espresso coffee, which is a first for me in Italy. The upkeep of the grounds is excellent, and the hotel is very clean. The only minus (for us) was the noise from the activities in the pool in the afternoon and late into the night.
