My girlfriends and I spent 6 nights at Gili Air Lagoon. We were originally only staying for 4 nights but loved it so much we stayed an extra 2 nights. The place was beautiful, the pool was clean and we loved stepping straight form our rooms into the water. The staff were amazing. Anything we wanted they were happy to help with. Armin and Hendra and the rest of the crew were so polite and friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying there. We miss you all - I'm still singing "Leaving on a Jet Plane"!!!
What a wonderful stay we had at Gili Air Lagoon Resort. The place is amazing with your own private pool area to relax. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The room was lovely and clean as were the rest of the facilities. We’ll throughly enjoy our time here.. We’ll be back!
We stayed for 4 nights in February of 2020 and overall had a great time. Its low season on the island, paired with the coronavirus issues the island was very quiet. The room was clean and staff were friendly, included breakfast was great. Staff were also very helpful to coordinate both a private snorkeling trip our second day and transport to Lombok when we left. We did find that some things could be improved (namely the airflow/AC in both the room and the dining area, as well as the room cleaning left things to be desired as we had no towels our final night and the sheets were not changed on the noted schedule). Overall for the price it is ok value, especially if you are travelling at low season.
We stayed at the Gili Air Lagoon Resort for 7 nights in January 2020. The staff at Gili Air Lagoon are by far the highlight of our trip. From the front desk admin staff to the waiters, waitresses, bar staff, cleaners, gardeners and maintenance, every single person we came across was wonderful. I feel like they became our friends in a few short days. There are too many nice staff to mention names. One night, the staff put on a little acoustic show for us where they sang and played instruments in the dining area. They were so entertaining and had beautiful voices. This was one of our favourite parts of our whole trip (we are still singing Penang, Penang Aris, unfortunately cannot find it on YouTube). The room was immaculate when we arrived. The cleaners did a great job of keeping it tidy while we were there without moving any of our stuff around. This is a very trustworthy hotel. We left valuables out on a number of occasions (accidentally) and it was always sitting untouched when we returned. The pool was another highlight. It was great having a little area to ourself as well as a communal circular pool for us to swim around and chat with other guests. Finally, the food was perfect! We tried just about everything on the breakfast menu and loved everything. We also had dinner here one night which was also delicious. While we were there the front desk staff booked a snorkelling trip for us, and a driver for a day trip to Lombok. The snorkelling was great. But the driver they organised was exceptional. When we arrived to Lalu Imron Habin (driver) was there to meet us, along with one of the beautiful front desk staff who we knew. Lalu drove us around for the whole day for a very reasonable price. He was very good company. Upon dropping us at our hotel in Lombok, Lalu offered to take us to the airport the following day for free. We told him to stay home and have a sleep in (as it was a very early flight) but he insisted on taking us for free. We had an amazing time at the Gili Air Lagoon Resort and can’t thank the staff enough. Management should know that their staff are the reason we had such a good time. Being charged $10 Aus dollars for 1 egg is poor management, practice. Internet is unstable. Staff are lovely and helpful, but the egg incident at breakfast is what has caused me to give poor rating . Hotel t.v. very poor reception.
