What an amazing day we had! 4 snorkeling stops and we saw turtles! 2 really big and old ones. A very thrilling experience! I would have been satisfied with the first small one but I saw 9 in total. Both in the water and from the boat. One big came up close and my husband had to move back not to touch it. Our guides were very professional and took good care of us. They were also very assertive, making sure we didn’t leave ANY plastic in the ocean or touching the turtles. We got the feeling they really care about their ocean, and of course their livelihood. A guy from another group swam up to one turtle and managed to touch it but our guide was very quick and pulled him away. This is NOT allowed. The turtles can catch diseases from us. Make sure to bring sun protection AND swim shoes. We had to walk on corals (like sand, dead coral) to get to lunch.

Our bungalow at Chill Out was fantastic! To begin with the staff were extremely friendly, and went out of their way to help with anything you require. The room itself was spotless, a good size, great A/C, outdoor bathroom and really comfortable bed. The location is 20m from the beach, and as other reviews have said, the best swimming spot on the island with crystal clear water and white sand (the majoirty of the island is surrounded by coral reef which is exposed at low tide). To top it off breakfast was also great, ask for a local breakfast for one of the best nasi gorengs around. Thanks again for a great stay.

Booked the snorkeling trip through these guys - what an amazing day! Really good price and the guides were great, kept an eye on everyone and we got to see turtles, beautiful undersea life and the statues. Nice lunch on Gili Meno in between and all equipment supplied or can bring your own. The glass bottom boat was great, saw a shark and turtles through it too. Highly recommend and well worth it for a day trip!

We came to island for 5 days and stayed elsewhere (not at Chill Out) and on our second day we found this place and couldn’t be happier. we spent our daytimes here on their beach beds on what is the best section beach on the island (having walked around it all looking for the best spot). We’d have lunch here and dinner (their seafood bbq is excellent, especially the buffet style salad!), and only wish we had known about it before we came and we would have booked our accommodation here too. The staff are incredible (especially a guy called Li) they’re SO attentive and really just want to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. The pizzas here are good too, far better than some so called top pizza places I’ve been to in London....all in all we thought this place was absolutely awesome, thank you Chill Out!

We booked a snorkeling trip via here after a less than average dinner. Expensive and poorly cooked. However, this was overall an average experience. however, it was dissapointing to see that the guide would grab the turtle under water and drag it up so that we could see it whilst snorkeling. I think people would have preferred to see them naturally, albeit shortly, but undisturbed. Personally I was not particularly bothered about the under water statues. They offer one small bottle of water with the trip, so bring more with you. The reef is mostly dead and not what we expected or read about but the fish were pretty. They also fed the fish to entice them to us even though we were told not to feed them or touch the turtle. dissapointing.
